Throne of Glass, Sarah J. Maas
YA Fantasy, Thriller
Read: June 13 to 14 2012 & December 24 2013 to January 2014
I would die, before I said anything bad about this book. I mean, seriously, Sarah J. Maas is an amazing author! After reading Throne of Glass, I have tried to read a couple of other assassin books, but I just can't get myself through any of them. It's not that they're bad, they're just not.. Throne of Glass. Celaena is a unique character, in that she is balancing right on the edge of a psychosis, with good reason, and she still manages to be funny about it.
All things considered, Throne of Glass is a pretty long book. But when reading it, it is... Well, not. You go through it way too fast, and especially the competition scenes are nothing if not too brief.
I'll do anything to get my hands on the sequel!
If you like: Awesomeness, amazingness, well-written, beautifully executed books.
