Dear Diary...

For the Dear Diary competition. This is gonna be weird, I can tell.

17. May 19th 2015, later on

So the free day I had today, away from school, which I could put to revision, writing, and relaxing...well I kinda wasted it. From about half-11 to about 10-ish...I was asleep.

Yeah, way to be productive. I slept about 10 1/2 hours. Plus had at least three truly messed up dreams. One I can't quite remember the details of, but in the second one I was being shot with a brass/golden crossbow repeatedly in my right shoulder.

Yeah, pretty strange. In the third one I was dreaming about climbing the walls of Machu Picchu, with a llama as a guide. Which is also pretty odd, but not as odd. After all, llamas are native to the area where Machu Picchu is, so that's explainable.

Psychology's still in my head then, as I really wanna try analysing those dreams to find out what the hell they mean. Who knows, maybe one of my id's unconscious drives is to be Indiana Jones.

That's gonna bug me until I find out what the hell they mean. Time to go dream researching. I know a really good website for it. is pretty good.

Ok, from looking, this is what I got from the crossbow one.

To see or use a crossbow in your dream implies that you need to have more precision in the goals that you are reaching for. Try to accomplish your goals in a more direct manner.

To see brass in your dream indicates deception, falsehood and deceitfulness.  It may also refer to your boldness.

To see your shoulders in your dream symbolize strength, responsibility and burdens. Perhaps you feel that you have too much responsibility to bear and are overburdened by circumstances in your life. Alternatively, shoulders represent your ability to offer support and nurturance others.

To dream of the right side represents conscious reality, deliberate action and rational thoughts. It may also be a pun on the rightness of an idea, decision, or plan. The dream is telling you that you are doing the right thing or that you are on the right path.

Okay...well that's a bit odd. So what, does it mean I'm being too bold and need to be more precise in reaching my goals, and that's impacting my conscious reality making it unable to handle my responsibilities?

What. The. Hell? No wonder dream analysis is so odd.

Now, for my other dream

To see a llama in your dream represents deep trust, strength and endurance. It may also mean that you are worrying too much and carrying too many problems.

To dream that you are climbing up something (ladder, rope, etc.) signifies that you are trying to or you have overcome a great struggle. It also suggests that your goals are finally within reach. Climbing also means that you have risen to a level of prominence within the social or economic sphere.

To dream of an ancient theme symbolizes your sense of foundation. You are well-grounded and are able to learn from your past.

To dream of a city in ruins denotes that you are neglecting your social relationships and allowing them to deteriorate.

Couldn't find anything specific about Machu Picchu, so I went for Ancient and City. Still very odd though.

I'm worrying too much, trying to overcome a great struggle, but my social relationships are deteriorating and I need to learn from my past.

Apparently, at least.

I dunno, maybe dream analysis actually has some merit to it.
