3. My Last Word
School was finally over. Nothing interesting ever happens there. Honestly, the honors classes are too easy sometimes. I walked towards the car as quickly as possible to avoid any confrontation with the species known as homo sapiens somehow that go to this school. It may be rude, how I think about them, but I've been bullied way too much in the past to care.
I leaned against the side of Aaron's beat-up car for about five minutes before I saw him running towards me, his face red, and what seemed to be a couple tears escaping his eyes.
"Aaron! What happened?! Are you okay?" I had never seen him cry before...He's always been so strong.
He completely ignored me and hopped in the car. As soon as he could, he was blasting Pierce the Veil...Too loud for conversation. I knew it was best to wait quietly until he was ready to talk about it.
A couple minutes later, his breathing had slowed and he looked over at me. My eyes met his and I had never seen those beautiful green eyes in so much pain.
"I caught her cheating on me..."
My eyes widened in shock as I reached over for his hand while saying, "Aaron..." He flinched away from my hand, so much so that he moved the car, straight into on-coming traffic.... Right into a semi-truck.
His name was the last thing I said before I died.
