I went back down stairs to find the boys who were now in the lounge, Zayn walking in behind me and sitting down. When I entered Harry looked up asking,"who was that at the door?"
"It wasn't anyone, someone left this though, for you," I explained passing over the envelope nervously. I really wanted to know what it was and who it was from.
Harry stared at it with a curious expression on his face. He then after a few moments hesitated silence turned to over and ripped it open. He pulled out the note inside, unfolded it and glanced down at it, shock distinguishable now in his features as he read.
"What is it? Who is it from?" I questioned quickly and he passed it over his expression now looking a little angry.
I stared down at it as the other boys crowded around me looking over my shoulder at the message. It said:
If you don't send me 4'000 pounds in four days I will tell the world of your whereabouts. You didn't think you could get away that lightly did you?
P.S. I hate you all.
I looked up shocked but suddenly angry. "You can't give her any money!"
Harry shrugged looking up. "But do you want her to tell all the fans and Jason where we are?"
I shook my head and sighed, sitting down annoyed, biting my lip. "But you shouldn't give into this. This is blackmail!"
"I know Annie. But 4'000 pounds isn't that much, not really considering how much we all have," he replied sounding annoyed. "I don't want to give her any money, trust me."
"But this is wrong, she can't just do this sort of thing!" I said annoyed and I sunk down to sit on the sofa next to him.
"This is Erin, we're talking about," Harry replied and sighed.
I nodded. "She's nearly as bad as Jason, those two would make a brilliant match," I said darkly, shuddering slightly.
"Hmmm, yeah," Harry agreed and put an arm round me squeezing me slightly.
The others say down next to us, all somehow managing to fit onto the sofa. My mind was racing, I was angry, annoyed, scared and upset all at the same time which was a weird kind of feeling. I felt all messed up with thoughts I felt kind of numb. It didn't help either that we were all silent and it felt really cold in here.
"So, what we going to do?" Louis suddenly spoke up, voicing the question which I'm sure was in all of our heads.
I looked around at them, they were looking at each other with looks which had no answer. Harry sighed and stood up.
"I'll give her the money," he announced.
"What? No! You can't Harry," I protested, annoyed, standing up. I didn't want Erin to get what she wanted, all she was doing was being her mean evil self and demanding that she needed something.
"But what else am I supposed to do Annie? I can't let her tell the world where we are, I can't!" He argued looking angry.
I recoiled slightly and looked at his annoyed face. It dropped suddenly and he sighed, shrugging.
"Annie, I know she doesn't deserve any money, but if she tells the world, Jason will find out where you are. We don't want him to find you, to find us," he replied softly.
I looked to my feet. "I know," I replied then looked up again. "But you shouldn't give into this, surely there is something we can do?"
Silence fell over the room again as we all started to try and think of ways to get round this.
"You could tell security!" I suddenly suggested.
Harry shook his head. "Better not to get them involved."
"But they could help Harry," I replied.
He shrugged. "You don't understand Annie. If we tell them we'll have to be stuck with them and have hardly any privacy at all. Plus I'm sure it would get out to the press and then everything will explode."
I sighed, nodding. "I guess. It was just an idea. I don't know what else we can do."
He sighs as well sitting down again. "We have four days thought to decide what to do."
I nodded. "Yeah, we better get thinking."
They all nodded and I sat down again to. I was scared. I couldn't deny it. I didn't want Jason to find us, it would be worse than last time and I don't even know whether I would even be able to get away from him this time. Maybe I wouldn't be so lucky.
"Right!" Louis suddenly announced and jumped up. I looked at him excited that maybe he'd got an idea.
"What Lou?" Zayn asked.
"I can't deal with all this serious c**p. Let's do something fun! This is not what One Direction is like. We aren't serious, we mess around!" he exclaimed and I rolled my eyes but smiled. He had lightened the mood I suppose.
"You're right Louis!" Harry agreed and got up to. "What shall we do then?" He looked to me. "Any ideas?"
I shrugged, "er, I don't know".
Harry rolled his eyes. "You're boring!"
"Eat the rest of the pizza!" Niall suggested. I laughed. "Have you actually forgotten that there's some left? I defiantly didn't!"
"No, it's in the kitchen," Harry replied rolling his eyes again and smiling.
Niall scurried off and soon came back with the rest of the pizza. There was hardly any of it left but we still all managed to get a piece and sat around eating it. It was funny how only a few moments ago it was all serious but now we were all sitting around laughing and having a good time.
I looked round at Liam who was watching me. I smiled at him and he smiled back before looking away. I still wondered what he had wanted to say to me that he didn't say earlier.
"Annie!" Niall shouted suddenly.
"What?" I asked, snapping out of my own thoughts and looking away from Liam and focusing on him.
"Nothing," he replied and looked away, munching on his pizza. I made a weird expression before shrugging it off and going back to listening to Louis cracking jokes which weren't even funny.
Suddenly someones phone pinged which turned out to be Harry's and we all fell silent. He pulled it out of his pocket, looking down at it and frowning.
"It's Erin," he told us and my eye brows rose. I bit my lip anxiously. He opened the message and read. "Scrap the four days, let's make it two. I want my money sooner."
He looked up and swallowed hard. "We better start thinking of a plan; quick!"
