I was sitting in bed reading, waiting for Hermione to tell me to turn the light off and go to sleep. I sighed and looked at my watch, it was ten o'clock. Normally she would be in by ten, and asleep. I frowned, getting worried.
"Hermione," I called getting up, "Hermione, where are you?"
"I'm in the kitchen, Harry." She answered in an oddly high pitched voice
"Are you okay?" I walked into the kitchen
"I don't think so," She shook her head panting
"Do you think?" I asked
"I've been standing in here for a while, I do think so." She snapped quietly
"Okay," I ran to get Hermione's coat
"Harry, are you nervous?" Neville asked me
"Definitely," I nodded
"I know I was," Neville smiled, "I was really nervous when she told me she was pregnant."
"I don't blame you."
Right then someone came out of the room Hermione was in.
"Is she all right?" I asked a smiling Molly
"Go see for yourself,"
"Can I?" I coughed awkwardly
"Go ahead, Harry." She laughed
"Okay," I replied
I slowly walked to the door leading to Hermione. I took a deep breath, if he hadn't died this would be Ron. I laughed, he would have been going mad. I opened the door to see a very exhausted Hermione. She had her hair pulled back, away from her face and there were a few loose strands dangling in front of her forehead. Her face was flushed and sweaty. She wasn't looking at me though, she was looking at the bundle in her arms. The bundle wrapped in white. I walked up to her and she smiled at me.
"Hello, Harry. Do you want to meet your baby?" She asked
I nodded, sighing. I still couldn't figure out whether or not we had a boy or a girl. Nothing would tell me, nobody would either. I sat down in the chair right next to the bed. She handed me the bundle and I took it. I pulled back the blanket to see...
He looked so scared. I laughed as he turned to me.
"What?" Harry asked
"You look nervous," I continued laughing
"No one is telling me whether they're a boy or a girl." He explained
"Does it matter?" I raised an eyebrow
"Not really," He shrugged, "I'm just curious though."
"Just look, Harry." I pulled the blanket away from the baby's face
"It's a girl," He smiled at me
"Yes," I smiled back at him
"What should we name her?" He asked
"How about Lily Ginerva Potter?" I offered
"That would be perfect,"
