My Life Would Suck Without You (Niall)
It’s a regular Saturday morning, and you are doing what you usually do on Saturdays—sitting on your couch, reading a book. You are quite wrapped up in the story, and are at the edge of your seat when the doorbell rings. When you open the door to see your best friend, Niall Horan. You had been friends since primary school, and sometime in the middle of the friendship, you fell in love with him.
"Hey," he greets you. "Want to do something today?"
"Sure," you say as he steps into your apartment. "What do you want to do?"
"How about we go somewhere in the country?" you suggest.
Quickly, you and Niall slap together some sandwiches and collect other foods in a bag. Then you head off, Niall driving and you in the passenger’s seat. He turns on the radio, and you start singing along, even though you know you cannot sing very well. "You got a piece of me, and honestly…"
Niall joins in just at the last line, "My life would suck without you!"
You laugh when the song ends. You and Niall sing along to the rest of the songs until you reach your destination—hills fringed by a forest. You hop out of the car, grabbing the bag of food. “Race you to the top!” you say, pointing to the closest hill.
"First one there gets first dibs on the food!" Niall yells as he bolts out of the car and up the hill. You race up, and Niall just barely wins. "Aw," you say. "Not fair." He takes the bag from you.
"No, it’s totally fair." Niall opens the bag, examining the contents.
You and Niall have a fun time, eating lunch, telling jokes, and racing more. You finally win one race, but Niall wins the other two. You collapse to the ground, exhausted. “I don’t think I can do this any more,” you tell Niall. “Ahh, I’m so tired now.”
"Alright, let’s take a break," Niall says, lying down on his back, looking up at the sky. You use his chest as a pillow, and the two of you examine the clouds, thinking up of what each cloud looks like.
Pointing to one, you comment, “That one looks like a frog.”
"You think so?" Niall asks. "I personally think it looks like a pizza."
You laugh, shaking your head. “You and your food. Is that all you think about?”
"No," Niall says quietly. "I think about you a lot, too."
You sit up. “Really?”
He sits up too. “Yeah.”
"Well, what do you know, I think about you a lot as well," you confess.
"Hey, then that works out well for the both of us," Niall says. He leans in, and you close your eyes just as he kisses you.
