9. just a dream
"They'll be coming to your school in 2 weeks. We want you to make them feel as comfortable as possible, this is a big change for them" a father attempted to put his arm around John but struggled because he was too tall for him. Jason looked a lot like Lana but taller and his hair was more golden than brown and was a few inches taller than her. John was a foot or more taller than Lana. His dirty blonde hair was wavy and tangled just below his ears. His eyes were ocean blue. The harder Lana looked at him the more distant. She instantly could there was a sense of powers and purpose between the two.
Lana must of been staring at them to log because John cleared his throat which brought Lana back to reality. She blinked hard to make sure she wasn't dreaming.
"Of course!" Lana's voice was more nervous than she meant it to be . "I'm sorry of what happened to your mom"
" Lana we want to renovate the attic into a bedroom for them but for now they'll be sleeping in the guest bedroom" her mother sighed.
The guest bedroom was right next t Lana's room. Lana's mind quickly drifted to school. How awkward it was going to be. What would Tiffany think? She never told anyone about her cousins because she truly thought they weren't coming back.
" I'll help you guys with your bags!" Lana awkwardly smiled.
Lana was just about to bring up the last bag when her mother stopped her " Lana I'm going on a buisness trip to Texas and you're father is going on that fishing trip with his work friends in two days. I'll be leaving by the end of the week. Please Lana , don't shut John and Jason out like you do with us. This is probably very scary for them. Aunt Donna's boyfriend wasn't such a great guy to them. I think them being here won't only help them get away from all the stress but also help you" my mother whispered. Lana thought " help me?" With confusion as she trudged up the stairs.
