20. Better than Austin

Tiffany was on the floor of Lana's room switching through channels on the remote.   "So when's Jason and John coming to school with us?"

Lana looked up from her blue laptop and replied " less than 2 days. I can't wait to show them around I think there really going to like it here."

Tiffany gave her a polite smile and turned back to the t.v. Just two weeks ago when they came, Lana was so award talking to them or even around them but now she acted a lot more relaxed and relieved.

Lana's phone dinged from her pocket and slowly glanced at the screen.

" it's my dad I'll be right back" Lana slid off of her bed and  walked down the stairs, out the front door and onto the porch. Which left Tiffany alone. Suddenly her phone chimed in her pocket. She glanced at the screen and it was from Austin and he texted - we're over I'm breaking up with you.

Tiffany. Clutched her phone even harder. Over a text she thought, that asshole. But Tiffany wasn't as upset as she expected she would be. She knew he probably dumped her for Amanda but once he realized how he was nothing without her he would be crawling back.

Tiffany heard the soft patter of foot steps coming from the hall. Tiffany quickly turned her head to see if it was Lana but it was just John. Tiffany slide her phone back into her jean pocket and slowly stood to her feet and followed him out into the hallway, coming her blonde curls back from her face.

"Hey" she said in a calm voice

Startled he turned around " oh hey, where's Lana?"

Tiffany's leaned her bod against the wall and crossed her hands over her chest. " she's making a call outside"

"Oh OK, I should get going.." he akwardly put his hand on the guest doorbell

" please don't go , Lana takes forever with phone calls and I hate being left alone" she said persuasively. " so do you like it here in Charington?" She asked innocently staring at his face. He had brown eyes with long lashes.

" yea, it's better then Italy, so of course you know me but I don't know you "

Tiffany smirked and took on step closer to him.

" where do I begin, well I have 3 sisters , two older one younger, and I cheer." Tiffany smiled. She wanted to keep it general, so she could be more mysterious.

" how old are you're sisters?" He moved slightly closer.

" we'll Britney is in her second year of collage she's 20, Courtney just graduated and she's like 19 and the youngest Ashley is 13 and still in the middle school"

Jason's eyes grew distant like he was thinking of something.

"You are very hard to read, what are you thinking about?" She teased as she watched his eyes come back to reality.

" well I'm thinking this whole conversation has just been about me and I want to know more about you, want to go out tomorrow" Tiffany cooed as she batted her eyelashes.

" I would like that" he grinned

" hey guys sorry it took me a while!" Lana smiled as she marched up the stairs. Tiffany turned back to Jason and he had already shut the door.
