1. Chapter 1
Sitting at my computer, I tried to log onto my facebook. My hands were shaking so much I could barely type my name. Aidan Jones. I sat, motionless, like a statue. This was it. I had found her. My little sister and I had been separated when we were very young. I barely remember her. She was adopted, loved, while I was left behind. You may say I am bitter about it. I guess I am, deep down. But I won't admit it to myself. It took me years to find her. And now I have, I'm not sure if talking to her is the right thing to do.
I didn't want to ruin her life. She seemed happy. Her adoptive parents were involved in politics (yawn). But she was happy, and I didn't want to come along and ruin it. Feeling conflicted, my hands hovered over the keyboard. I had to do it, if I didn't I would never forgive myself, always wonder what would have happened if I did.
My heart was beating so quickly it felt like it would burst out of my chest. Beat, beat, beat. Okay Aidan, breath. It will be okay, what's the worse that could happen? I took the plunge.
