The Teacher and the Student

Lena Ruthford was the most popular girl in school. Everyone loved her. Lena was in love with one person, her math teacher, Ezra Matthews. One thing leads to another and her life changes in one moment. But what would that change be? This story is probably really crappy because I wrote it a long time ago, but I thought I would put it on here and continue with it.

20. Chapter Twenty

Months had passed by and it was 1 week before Lena’s due date. All of her teachers had been really easy on her. They gave her as much time as she needed on her projects and homework. She felt like her teachers were being too easy on her, even Ezra.

“Ezra, I really wish you would stop being so easy on me. I mean I am just like any other student, accept I am pregnant. Just because I am pregnant doesn’t mean you have to treat me differently, you know.” Lena told him in an irritated tone.

“Okay fine. I just figured you would want to take it easy because the baby is coming soon.” Ezra explained.

“No. I want to do as much as I can now so that when the baby comes I can take a little time off.” She told him.

Just then the end of the day bell rang. Lena waited for Ezra to get off work. When he did they walked out of the school hand and hand. They reached their cars, which were parked right next to each other and Ezra leaned in and gave Lena a big kiss.

“I love you Lena.” Ezra told her as he pulled away.

“Well, I love you too Ezra. Let’s go home shall we.” Lena said.

“Yes, lets.” He said.

It was 2:00 in the morning and Lena woke up in horrible pain. She realized what was happening.

“Ezra! Wake up!” Lena yelled at him while shaking him awake.

“What’s going on?” Ezra said in a sleepy tone.

“My water broke. We need to get to the hospital.” Lena said.

As soon as Lena said that Ezra was running around the house like a chicken with its head cut off. Then 5 minutes later they were off to the hospital.

Lena had been in labor for 11 hours and she was in agonizing pain, she wanted everything to stop.

“Shit, shit! This hurts! Make it stop Ezra!” Lena cried.

“Push honey, push.” Missy and Ezra both told her.

Lena was pushing as hard as she could. It took about another 10 minutes before she heard a baby cry. On July 10th, 2011 at one in the afternoon, Lucy Grace Matthews was born.

The doctors put Lucy on Lenas chest. Lucy was crying as the doctors were cleaning her up.

“Would you like to cut the umbilical cord, daddy?” Dr. Messing asked Ezra.

It was all a whirlwind. A few hours had passed and finally a nurse came in with Ezra and Lena’s baby girl.

“Hi baby.” Erza and Lena both cooed at Lucy. Just then Lena’s mom walked in.

“I can’t believe my grandbaby is here. Can I hold her?” She asked.

Lena handed her to her mom. All seemed right in the world. Ezra was there with Lena holding her and kissing her and her mom finally came around to her having baby. It was all very perfect.
