The Teacher and the Student

Lena Ruthford was the most popular girl in school. Everyone loved her. Lena was in love with one person, her math teacher, Ezra Matthews. One thing leads to another and her life changes in one moment. But what would that change be?

This story is probably really crappy because I wrote it a long time ago, but I thought I would put it on here and continue with it.

1. Chapter One

Lena Ruthford, she was the most popular girl in school. Everybody loved her. She wasn’t the type of popular girl that was a bitch to everyone. She was the sweet girl that everybody loved.

She is a varsity cheerleader, in the chamber and jazz choir, junior class president, and is a straight A student. All the teachers loved her because she really applied herself in class and she was just an all around good student.

Lena has 3 really close best friends, Cassie, Trista, and Lizzie. They had all been really close since pre-school because they live in a small town. Cassie was the total girly girl. She loved putting on makeup and getting all dressed up every day. Trista was the tomboyish girl. She loved to play sports like, soccer, softball, and basketball. She was the type of girl who would wear t-shirts, jeans, sweatshirts, and vans to school. But once in awhile she would be girly just like Cassie. Then there is Lizzie, she was the girly girl too but liked to be tomboyish once in awhile. She is on the varsity cheerleading team with Lena and she would wear cute shirts to school but with a pair of jeans. Lena was most like Cassie though, she was the super, super girly girl, always looking perfect.

Lena didn’t have a boyfriend. She was very picky about the guys she dated. She always dated guys that were older because they were more mature and way cuter. Since she was a junior in high school she would only date seniors or guys in college. The junior guys were very upset with this but that is there problem. Lena though had one guy she was in love with. It was her math teacher, Mr. Ezra Matthews. He was the most gorgeous guy at Timber Falls High School. He was also very single. He was only 28. He had gray blue eyes, blondish red hair, and he was 6’4”. Mr. Matthews has been Lena’s math teacher for 3 years and they have always had that special connection with each other. He always smiles at her in the hall way and gives her more attention in class. Lena always knew that she and Mr. Matthews (or Ezra as Lena liked to call him in her head) would be together in the end. But since there is a stupid law that says that you can’t date anyone over the age of 18 if you are a minor. So she can’t legally date him. Lena always thought to herself screw that law, Ezra and I will be together in the end.

It was Monday before school and Lena, Cassie, Lizzie, and Trista went to get there morning coffee at Dutch Brothers. Lena would always drive because she had the nicest car according to the girls. She had a cute little yellow slug bug.  When they got to Dutch Brothers they ordered there coffee and flirted with the manager, like always. Lena thought to herself Chris is so cute but not as cute as my Ezra. They got their coffee and went to the school. Lena split apart from her girls and went to go talk to Ezra.

“Moring Mr. Matthews.” Lena said in a chipper voice.

"You know you can call me Ezra if nobody is in the class room. We have known each other for 3 years, I think we are on a first name basis” Ezra said in a joking tone.

“Oh yeah. So Ezra what are we doing in class today?” Lena asked while laughing.

“Oh, just working on geometric proofs. The easy stuff.” Ezra said with a smile on his face.

“Okay. Should be easy enough.” Lena said.

“You know you are looking really pretty today, Lena” Ezra said with a cute little smile on his face.

I love that tiny smile of his. It is so adorable Lena thought to herself.

“Oh, thanks.” Lena said.

Lena had put on a cute black skirt with red roses on it, a red tank top, and a black cardigan on with a pair of black sandals. She had straitened her hair and had smoky eye makeup on.

“What are you doing this weekend Lena?” Ezra asked.

“Um, I have cheer practice on Friday and maybe homework but other than that nothing. Why?” Lena asked suspiciously.

“Well I have these tickets to an opening of an art museum in Seattle on Saturday night. I wanted to see if you would like to go.” Ezra said.

Ezra and Lena had always had this thing for art. They found such beauty in it that some other people didn’t. Ezra and Lena would sometimes talk about art before and after school. Lena was completely shocked that Ezra asked her to go with him.

“Wow Ezra. I would love to!” Lena said in a giddy tone.

"Great! It’s on Saturday at 7:00,” Ezra told her “I would have to pick you up at 2:30, so we can have time to get dinner.”

“Well, I will have to figure out a cover plan because I know my mom would have a cow if she knew I was going with you.” Lena said.

“Yeah that is true. Can you say you are spending the night at one of your friend’s house?” Ezra asked.

“Yeah I could say that. But she will probably know something is up when your car pulls up and not one of my girl’s car” Lena told him.

“What if you meet me at my house?” Ezra asked.

“That could work” Lena said with a smile on her face.

“Okay. I live on Rose Dr.” Ezra told her.

“Oh, I know where that is!” Lena said, “You live right by me. I live on River Rd.”

“Nice. Okay so its number 484. Be to my house by 2:15” Ezra said.

“Okay that sounds great” Lena said.

Just then the 5 minute bell rang.

“Well I guess I should get to class” Lena said.

“Yeah I will see you 5th period” Ezra said.

Ezra was so close to Lena’s face she thought he was going to kiss her. But then he just put that little smile on his face that Lena loves so much and turned away and went to his desk.
