The days had passed and it finally came to Wednesday. Lena went to school and went through her day as normal. But at the end of the day she remembered she was suppose to start her period last week, and that she is never late. Well maybe I’m late this one time she thought. I really don’t want to be pregnant. Let alone with Ezra’s baby. It could get him in so much trouble if this law isn’t repealed. I have to stop thinking about this. I need to get to Ezra’s apartment.
Lena finally got to Ezra’s apartment. Ezra turned on the news and they saw that they were going to do the final voting in about 20 minutes.
“While there talking about other stuff, I think we should talk about something.” Lena told Ezra in a scared tone.
“What is it?” Ezra asked.
"Ezra, I think I might be pregnant.” Lena said.
“You what? You do?” Ezra said in a very shocked tone.
“Yeah, I am like 5 days late and I am never late.” Lena explained to Ezra.
“Are you positive you aren’t just late?” He asked her.
“I am positive. I am never late.” She said to him.
“Wow! This could be really bad.” Ezra said.
“No duh Ezra! I don’t know what I’m going to do. I am a cheerleader, I go to church, I just… I don’t know what I’m going to do Ezra.” Lena said and she started bawling.
Ezra wrapped his arms around her and whipped her tears away with his finger tips.
“We can get through this. If you’re pregnant, were going to get through this.” Ezra said trying to calm her down.
“We should get back to the news. It’s probably been 20 minutes.” Lena said.
They turned back to the news. It was official. They had repealed the law that kept Lena and Ezra away from each other.
“This is so prefect! Well sort of.” Lena said.
“I don’t want to ruin the moment but do you think if you took a pregnancy test now it would be able to tell it accurately?” Ezra asked.
“I think so.” Lena told him.
“Well I think you should take it now. I want to know. I mean I think we should know.” Ezra explained.
“Yeah. Let’s do it.” Lena said in a scared tone.
