The Teacher and the Student

Lena Ruthford was the most popular girl in school. Everyone loved her. Lena was in love with one person, her math teacher, Ezra Matthews. One thing leads to another and her life changes in one moment. But what would that change be? This story is probably really crappy because I wrote it a long time ago, but I thought I would put it on here and continue with it.

5. Chapter Five

Lena walked up to Ezra’s door and she rang the doorbell. There was no answer. She knocked on the door. Still no answer. She was starting to get a little bit freaked out. Then her phone went off. It was Ezra’s ringtone Teenage Dream.

“Where are you?” Lena asked in a worried/angry tone.

“You look beautiful.” Ezra said bypassing the whole question.

“How would you know that?” Lena asked.

As she turned around she saw a huge black limo.  As the window went down she saw Ezra’s face. Lena hung up the phone while her jaw is dropped.

“Surprised?” Ezra asked.

“Yes!!” Lena squealed.

Lena jumped into Ezra’s arms and he spun her around. Lena felt like a princess. She had everything she could ever want in that moment.

“Why don’t we go then?” Ezra asked.

“Sure. Let’s go.” Lena said.

“You look absolutely stunning by the way.” Ezra said while opening the door for Lena.

“Why thank you. You don’t look so bad yourself.” Lena said with a smirk on her face.

They were going to Seattle and on the way there they were talking about the artists that were going to be there and what their favorite pieces of art were. They talked about everything going down to Seattle.

They finally got to Seattle and Lena found out that they were going to dinner at Le Bec Finn. It was a very expensive restaurant.

“Ezra you shouldn’t be spending this much money on me.” Lena said.

“Lena its fine.” Ezra said.

Ezra and Lena walked in holding hands. It was the best feeling in the world for Lena. She was so giddy and happy.

They got to their table and ordered their food.

“This is seriously the best date ever and we haven’t even gotten half way through it.” Lena said.

Ezra had that cute little smile on his face again.

"How many dates have you been on?” Ezra asked.

“Well, probably around 16 throughout my high school years, so far.” Lena explained.

“Oh, I see.” Ezra said.

“But those dates don’t matter now. You are what matters to me now.” Lena said with a smile on her face.

Ezra grabbed both of her hands and just looked into Lena’s eyes. Lena knew she was so in love with Ezra Matthews in that moment.

“I care about you a lot Lena Ruthford. I hope you know that.” Ezra told her.

“Yeah I know that. So how many dates have you been on Ezra?” Lena asked him.

“Oh well, 20. But I have been through high school and…”

“Ezra, it doesn’t matter. I don’t care about how many dates you have been on.” Lena explained to him.

“Oh okay.” Ezra said.

Just then their food came. They ate their food and kept smiling at each other.

Man I wish he would just kiss me already Lena thought to herself.

Finally the dinner was done and they went over to the new art museum called the Metropolly.

“Tickets please.” The ticket girl said.

Ezra pulled out the tickets and gave them to the women

“Okay you can go in.” The women said.

As Ezra and Lena walked in hand and hand they saw the most beautiful art. It was all so pretty and happy.

“This must be an expressionist art museum.” Lena said.

“Yeah it is. Expression art is always so much more happy and pretty. More colorful.” Ezra said.

“Yeah your right. Look at this one. It’s called Color’s of the World by Xander Lovnings. So many pretty colors.” Lena said to Ezra.

“It looks like what they did is they threw paint on the canvas.” Ezra pointed out.

“Yeah it does. But it is still pretty. Oh, look at that one. It’s hearts in different colors and textures.” Lena said.

Ezra and Lena stopped in front of the painting. Ezra then looped his arm around Lena’s waist and pulled her toward him. He had the tiny smile on his face and he looked around the museum then looked back at Lena and kissed her. The kiss was so perfect. His lips were so soft and he had one hand on the small of her back and one hand in her hair. Lena had her arms wrapped around his neck. The kiss was so light and perfect. Lena felt so protected and safe in that moment and that nobody could ever hurt her.

Then Ezra pulled away. He was smiling down on her.

“That was really amazing and perfect.” Lena told him.

“Yeah. There were definitely sparks there.” He said.

“Oh yes there was!” She exclaimed.

“Lena I love you.” Ezra told her.

“You what? You do?” Lena said in shock.

“Yes I do. I have since your freshman year. Lena you are beautiful, smart, funny, caring, sweet, and I could go on and on but I think you get the point. Lena I am so in love with you.” He told her.

“Wow Ezra! I am just in shock. But Ezra I love you too.” Lena told him.

They were both just standing there smiling.

The rest of the time they were smiling, laughing, holding hands, hugging, and kissing. Time had just flown right by.

“We are just about to close.” A woman came up and told them.

“Okay.” Ezra said.

Ezra looked down at his watch and noticed it was already 11:30.

“I should be getting you back to my apartment then.” Ezra said.

“Yeah I guess you’re right. I had the most amazing time.” She told him.

“I had an amazing time too. I can’t wait to do this again.” He said.

They got into the limo and went back to Ezra’s apartment. On the way there they just sat and cuddled and talked. Lena thought that this couldn’t be real. It had to be a dream. She gently pinched herself just to see if it was a dream.

“What are you checking to see if this is a dream?” Ezra asked her in a joking tone.

“Maybe.” Lena said.

“Yeah I have been wondering the same thing. If it is a dream I mean. You are the most amazing girl at school and you chose to be with me. Why?” He asked her in a confused tone.

“Well, one tiny part of it is, is that I only date older guys. They are way more mature and way cuter. But the big part of it is, is that you are an amazing guy Ezra. You are very smart, funny, caring, good looking, and sweet. You are better than any guy at the high school.” Lena explained to him.

“I don’t really think that but that is really sweet of you to say. Well I am glad you picked me. But this whole law thing could be a problem.” He said.

“Yeah I know. That is why we will just keep it a secret.” She said coyly.

“Oh we will now will we?” Ezra asked in a joking tone.

“Yes we will.” She said laughing.

“This has been such a perfect night.” He said to Lena.

“Yeah it has. I have wanted to ask you this forever now. What is your middle name?” Lena asked him.

“It’s James. What is yours,” Ezra started to ask, “Oh wait I think I know it. Isn’t it Alice?”

“I love your name. But yeah it is. How did you know that?” She asked him.

“I have a list of everyone’s full name on the attendance list. I just remember yours.” He said.

“Well that is sort of creepy.” She said while laughing.

“Whatever Lena!” Ezra said.

They were both laughing really hard. Then they noticed that they were back at Ezra’s apartment.

“Well I guess we should get out and you should get to your friends house.” Ezra said.

“Yeah I should. They are probably dying to hear what happened tonight.” She said.

“I thought we were keeping this a secret Lena.” He said concerned.

“Well not to everyone. I have to tell my girls. They won’t say anything I promise. It will go to the grave with them. You can tell your friends to as long as they won’t say anything.” Lena explained.

“Okay I trust you Lena. But if this gets out bad things will happen.” He said.

“Yeah I know. Nothing bad is going to happen. I promise.” Lena said.

She smiled at him and leaned into him and kissed him.

“Well I better get going.” She said.

“Okay. I will text you. See you at some point. Maybe tomorrow?” He asked.

“Yeah maybe.” She said and winked at him.

Lena hopped into her car, blew him a kiss and was off to Trista’s house.
