After the explanation me and Shinrei sat in our spots dumbfounded. It stayed silent in the room for a good five minutes. No one flinched, everyone let the information sink in. So, Shinrei clearly isn't human, I mean well that was pretty clear from day one. You can't beat the shit out of a group of hoodlums like that and be human unless your from an anime. This is reality and not an anime but only how I wish it was. Now that I have sorted out that Shinrei isn't human then what the fuck is he? An angel? Hell no Angels don't come down and go BAM! I don't like you die! A shinigami? Im getting closer I think. If he was a shinigami he would be reaping lives instead of leaving them on the verge of death for someone else's work or something. A demon? I think not. If he was wouldn't he have horns, a pitch fork, a little tail sprouting from his ass and be red with an obnoxious laugh, then stand at the gates of hell and prick you in the ass as you walk in? No way in hell would he do that he cares more about food in his stomach then a pitchfork in someone's ass. An Alien? Possibly, I mean with the apatite he has and those blackouts could be something known to some foreign race. He could be a Martian or something from Venus or Pluto something along those lines. I wonder what planet he would be from? It would also explain his amazing crimson eyes, everything fits! He must be an alien! I hadn't realized that I began to nod to myself with satisfaction at my discovery. "Would you like to share what you seem to have figured in that little head of yours?" I snapped out of it to look over at Shinrei. He still sat where he was with his head resting on his hand. "Well?" He said with slightly annoyance as he looked me dead in the eyes.
"Well, I was trying to figure out what you could possibly be. I was going over the possibilities of you be either an angel, which isn't possible, a shinigami, yet again not possible but closer, a demon, close but not cigar and then I thought that you must be an alien. I mean you have those red eyes and those wicked red eyes so it kinda click at least in my head that you are an alien from some distant planet." A moment of silence spread through out the room when I finished. I got blank stares and then laughter began to erupt from everyone. I could feel the heat flush through my face. The laughter continued for a good minute then Shinrei began to speak "I understand the fact that I'm not human but there I'd no way in Hell in an Alien. I don't know what gave you that bright idea I would more likely be a god or a demon then an alien." He began to chuckle to himself as I began to become red with embarrassment and anger. I out my hands on my hips and looked Shinrei in the eyes and said
"Well excuse me for trying to figure out what you could possibly be. You're probably a demon with that attitude there's no way your an angel unless you became a fallen angel I mean you would be the shittiest angel to ever exist. Just so you know." I smirked as Shinrei sat at the opposite of the couch with no expression as he began to smile.
"Well, who ever said I was an angel besides you. I know that I would suck being an angel I just wouldn't give a damn and I would leave the world to die." He simply smirked as he looked at me.
"With that attitude you are most definitely a demon."
Not too long after out little conversation we all got up and went to another room and stayed there for a bit as we had idle chatter with little snacks. We stayed there for a couple hours and by the end I brought up the topic of where Shinrei will be staying.
"I was kinda wondering where Shinrei would be staying? Seeing as for the past couple days he's been playing sleepover at my house. Will he be staying here for once or will I gain a new roommate?" The room went silent.
"Well what ever you two would like to do is fine as long as nothing happens." Shinrei's mom said with a little smile to follow.
"Well nothing happens besides the fact the Shinrei doesn't follow sleepy time rules." I muttered to myself
"Oh it was nothing just mumbling to myself."
"Oh well then that's okay, what would you like you do dear?"
"I would rather play sleepover with her then sit here with you two and risk mental poisoning." Shinrei said.
I was shocked by his answer and before I could even answer properly he pulled me by the crook of my arm and dragged me out of the house. His parents stood at their giant doorway waving to us. I found Shinrei's behavior a little odd but thought nothing of it.
