28. Chapter 28

"Are we almost there?!" I whined. I poked Louis impatiently. The plane ride had been long and all I wanted to do was sleep. I could never really fall asleep on planes.

"Yes impatient!" Louis groaned "The hotel is literally right there!" He pointed to a tall brick building. I clapped my hands.

"Yay! I can go to sleep!" I cheered grabbing my purse.

Soon enough we were in the almost vacant parking lot and were carrying suitcases into the building. An old man was at the counter, his eyes exhausted. He was reading a newspaper and his hands shook grasping it. When he saw us, he dropped the newspaper and tossed Liam two cards. He thanked the man and put a few dollars in the glass tip jar on the edge of his wood desk.

We all piled into a small elevator and Liam started to speak of the room arrangements. Apparently, I was placed in a room with Louis and Niall. Harry, Zayn, and Liam had a separate room across from us. I sighed. I knew Niall would never allow Harry in the same room as me.

"So? Are we okay with that?" Liam questioned seriously handing Louis a key. We shook our heads and the elevator opened. Louis wrapped me in his arm and went sprinting down the carpets hall, my hands grabbing his neck for stability. I laughed as he made car noises and opened our hotel door.

Inside was a bland room with two double beds and a small tiled kitchen area. There was a flat screen and a bedside table between the two beds. A glass door was plastered on the wall, leading out to a black balcony. It only overlooked the back of the building, making it kind of pointless. I laughed as Louis tossed me on the bed.

"I'm guessing this is my bed?"

He winked at me. "No, this is our bed. Niall will have to sleep alone."

I laughed and dug under the covers, taking my shoes and Louis' sweatshirt off in the process. Louis crawled in next to me and wrapped his arms protectively around my small figure. I smiled and started to doze off.

I awoke hearing two harsh voices arguing. My eyes remained closed as I laid in silence, listening to what the voices were saying.

"Louis just stay away from her!" It was Niall's voice, except it was gentle like normal.

"Niall, you're overreacting! We are just friends!" Louis protested. I smiled.

"I know that you and Harry are up to something! Don't think I haven't noticed!"

My smile dropped. I waited for Louis to say something but it never came. So I sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes, trying to pretend as if I had just woken up. Niall and Louis both gave me a sympathetic smile.

"Did we wake you?" Louis asked sitting down next to me. I shook my head and got out of bed, walking over to the small kitchen. There was a coffee machine and I filled it, the brewing sound being comforting.

"Anna, we have to go an interview in a few minutes." Louis said grabbing his shirt. "Harry is staying here and Zayn will be back soon. He's out buying stuff."

I gave him a quick smile before him and Niall left the room.
