My body moved by itself, following those non- humans. Taking me to see this Demitri guy the black star guy spoke of. None of the non- humans put a hand on because somehow I was under a spell. It felt as if someone else was inside of me, leading me away, but yet I was still completely conscious. We walked up and down streets, past the school park, and into a rich community. Huge houses, more like mansions, stood high up in the dark looking over the passing people.
A house was at the end of a street and they all were heading to it. The house was huge and beautiful, like it could house a family of ten. But then again, I assume that there was ten people in there and maybe more. My fear overrode myself and automatically I started to hum a song that I heard when I was five. It was called The Misty Mountains Cold by some unknown artist. My body went at ease now but both of the girls were looking at me.
"This isn't your death hybrid, so stop making things to gloomy. You are killing my buzz." The blonde spoke. I stopped automatically and just when I did, the huge door that was across the lawn from us now opened. The stranger from before who gave me the fifty dollar bill appeared. My heart that has just calmed down raced like a humming birds wing.
His appearance was strange and yet my heart skipped a dangerous beat. "Demitri, we found something for you." The black star dude spoke. So this was that lovely creature I saw before. The one who gave me hope that I was not alone. The one who helped me in desperate times with his money and the one who listened to me sing.
"Let her go. I don't want her." He spoke and turned away to walk back into the house. For some odd reason that hurt for a second. The girls smirked at me and then walked in and followed Demitri. As if they were his puppy dogs that would fetch and do whatever commands he ordered.
The three guys look at me and then the black star guy walked up to me. Up close he looked kind of hansom, someone that is every human girls dreams. He was a head higher than me and I yearned for some reason to lean my head against his chest. Because right now, when he was this close to me, he felt safe. Safe and warm, something I haven't felt in my life. "I am sorry. I thought we could help you. You were born a human, but transformed into a beast. Something werewolves and vampires hate. I am sorry that we treated you the way we did." He apologized.
This was the first time I heard him speak. "Please, go leave and forget that we ever took you here. Forget about us and the fact that you are not alone in this world. But think that you are the only non- human instead." He spoke in a soft voice and touched my cheek. His hand was velvet like his voice and was warm like a mid- summers eve.
"Wait!" Demitri called out. "Wait! Don't let her leave just yet!" But it was too late. I felt myself slip into a darkness that made me confused on everything. Was Demitri's voice just an illusion or part of a dream? It must be. Because the voice came from one of the Whites beside me. Injecting me with a purple liquid. Making me scream and see bugs all over my skin.
No... stop... plea- I tried to speak but then I went into a whirlwind of memories with the Whites.
