13. Spirit Week, Pep rallies, & The Sophomore Sluts. Part Three
~*~ It was game time. All grades, floats circled around the field me and my other team mates where standing on, stretching for this game. Loud cheers filled my poor ears, with chants of grades from each side of the crowded bleachers behind me. The only thing that scares me is that we haven't been coached from James who is a guru when it comes to playing football. I mean I basically got everything down it's just I really wanna beat the SSC. It didn't matter if Matty and I were on the outs. It was the principle of it. If the Sophomore Sluts were gonna make a play for the sophomore boys, they were gonna be intercepted or tackled or some football thing, if they ever showed up. " Are we shooting a beer commercial?" All of us glared at the SS crew breaking through a banner that read " Go Sophomores!! Go!! " Man, I had never wanted to win something so badly. The SS were running some serious interference with our lives. They needed to get sacked. " Go, seniors! - Let's do this! Whoo! " My dad cheered from the bleachers along with my mom. I mouth " - Thank you." To him then turn back to the girls. I dip my hands in the green body paint, swiping one line across my cheeks on both of them. basically we all meant business. " C'mon sophomore's put all your will into kicking these amatures out of our Fields!" A couple of girls chant in the bleachers getting mine and everyone elses attention " Freshmen put some sass into your pep then freshmen kick some ass and show these girls who runs this week. Let's go! freshmen put some sass into your pep then freshmen kick some ass and show these girls who runs this week!" Scarlett cheers along with the rest of the cheer squad. I smile and she nods her head. Basically indicating " I better beat these girls asses. "All right, let's huddle." As we began playing the girls were seriously killing us out there. " Boy, that's only halftime." * girls locker room.* "Hey, coach-" Stella comes up to me. "I think you're supposed to give an inspiring speech." I wasn't feeling inspiring. I was feeling screwed, not in a good way. " Okay so we are sucking out there, a lot. Our own freshmen boys are cheering against us, and no matter how hard we try to be the mature ones, they don't appreciate it. They choose bikinis over robots, simple over complicated. As long as those sluts exist, we're never gonna win." I sigh. " That was literally the worst pep talk I have ever heard. I say we go out there and kick those sluts' asses. Are you with me, bitches?" Saidie asks and the other girls cheer in her favor as they follow her out to out fifth quarter into the game. " Looks like your guy friends came over to our side. It must suck to still be stuffing tissue in your bras and completely undesirable." Mackenzie says in a squating position in front of me, as well as I was. " I like your hair. It almost looks real." I sneer smirking. She laughs. " Thanks. Is yours?" She asks before tugging on my ponytail harshly. "- Whoops." - Oh!! The crowd cooes surprised as well as I was. I turn to Scarlett who was getting held back from two girls on the cheerleading team. But That's when my dad's words came to me like a blitz to my brain. Beating the Sophomore Sluts in football wouldn't change anything. These girls, no matter how much I hated their bare midriffs and hot pants weren't the problem. The problem was Harry. " If you don't do it, I will." Stella warns looking at me from behind. Then bam out of no where hands were thrown on me along with the other girls in my team. We fought twilight saga during that very moment. My fist met Mackenzie's face and it felt incredible. My sight was blurry but I could still see her pink sneakers stepping hard on my converses. " Beat her ass Maddi!" A few girls cheered while fighting. ~*~ My first fight, and I didn't feel like a badass. I just had a bad taste in my mouth. Freshmen had lost Spirit Week to the sophomores for the first time in, well, ever. Then again, maybe the bad taste was from all the dirt I ate when Mackenzie smooshed my face into the ground. " Hey, thank you for having my back earlier." I walk down out of the office with Stella rubbing thecold compress on my forehead. " No worries, your good people haha." Stella laughs patting my back. " by the way nice hit in the nose it was like the icing on top." We both chuckle entering the principles office. Walking in I see two familiar faces. It was mom and dad. " Thank you." My dad thanks so principal before waving him off. I bite my finger nails as my parents didn't even take one look at me before leaving the office. We entered the the car and James and Scarlett were both quite. As we begin to drive off my parents begin to laugh out of nowhere. " What?" I asked. " I saw the video." My mom says. I look at the window letting my eyes follow the trees we past by."oh." I mumbled. " You kicked that girls ass!" My mom laughed along with my dad,James, and Scarlett. " Wait! You guys aren't mad!?" " Well she technically did start the fight by pulling your hair and I'm just glad you defended yourself." My dad snickered. " Oh well then why are you guys laughing?" Scarlett started choking from laughing so hard, showing me the video on her phone with me swinging my arms in various directions. " Haha you fight like a jelly fish." James hugs himself starting to cry from laughing at the video. Jees.. I actually do. " Oh honey look at her face right here!" My dad laughs showing my mom the video he had on his phone. I roll my eyes trying not to laugh but I had to admit I look really stupid when I fight. Well that was definitely one memorable second week of school I find myself never going to be able to forget.
