I sat at the window of the plane watching the clouds drift by, each one soft and fluffy looking. The ground was so faraway I couldn't see anything beside a strip of green below. I turn to face the rest of my team. Kien sat next to me, asleep, his red hair ruffled lightly giving him the cutest bed head look. I watched to reach over and move it back, but I couldn't bring myself too. I turned my eyes to Lucas and Jacob, they had three binders spread out between them, whispering intently.
I slipped over, laying my head on Lucas's shoulder. "What's so secretive?"
Lucas looked up at me, his hazel eyes dark with seriousness, "We have five boys to kill who are our age, what are we going to do?"
I reached down wrapping my arms around Lucas, letting him relax. Lucas was the only other assassin in training who didn't like killing. I could always turn to him if I needed help, and him to me.
"You can do it Lucas." I whisper in his ear. "Remember there's always a reason behind killing."
He nodded, pulling me into his lap so that he could give me a hug. He leaned his head down to my ear till he could talk to me without anyone hearing him. "You don't know how much you have helped me."
I smiled brightly at him, leaning my head against his chest. Jacob looked up from Harry Styles's binder eyeing us. "I thought you and Kien were a thing?"
I felt my cheeks heat up as Lucas let out a laugh. "What's to say they do?"
Jacob shrugged going back to his binder. "It's just obvious that Kien likes her." He looked up, his light green eyes locking on mine. "And I think you like him."
I look over at Kien's sleeping form choosing my next words careful. "I'm not sure what I feel for Kien, it's different from what I feel for you and Lucas, but it's just not what I imagined a crush to feel like. I don't feel that lighting bolt that everyone says you will feel."
Lucas let out another laugh. "The lighting bolt doesn't hit right away Mags." His eyes glazed over slightly. "Sometimes it hits too late. Don't rely on it. Remember, always follow your heart, it's will lead you to who you are looking for."
"Thanks Luke." I smiled, hugging him tight. "I'll keep that in mind."
The seatbelt light started blinking, seconds before the crackle of the intercom did. "Everyone please buckle up, we wi be landing in five minutes."
I slip away from Lucas and Jacob, giving them both hugs before sitting down next to Kien. I snap my seatbelt into place quickly, before shaking Kien lightly. He blinked awake lightly, his eyelids fluttering ever so slightly. "Were almost there." I whisper. "Buckle up."
He nodded slightly, fumbling slightly with his seatbelt before getting it into place. I looked back out the window watching the strip of green grow and grow until all the clouds were gone. The plane bumped gently to the ground slowing down as we neared a large white building. About a hundred feet from the building the plane drew to a complete stop. We all quickly got our stuff and scrambled off the plane. A long black limo was waiting outside the plane, a tall man was holding the back door open.
"Is this for us?" I gasped looking the limo up and down.
The man nodded, eyeing us slightly. "We will take you to One Direction's hotel."
I'm the first one to climb in, followed by Kien and Lucas. Jacob eyed the man for a second before hopping in, but kept close to the door.
The man shut the door behind him walking to the front of the limo and a few seconds later the limo sputtered to life, taking us away from the plane. The back of the limo is full of food ad. Fancy drinks, that I hadn't ever heard the name, but we left them untouched. Rule #346 Don't trust anyone, but your team when your on a job.
Twenty minutes later we pulled up to a towering white hotel. The entire entrance was full of screaming girls, we could hardly get the car though even when honking the horn.
"This is crazy!" Kien muttered looking at the wall of girls. "Are these guys really this big?"
I stick my face up against the window next to his. "I guess. This will be a tough job."
Lucas put a hand on my shoulder. "But we can do it, all of us."
The limo pulled around the back of the hotel letting us out at a plain door hidden from view.
"You will be staying with the boys on floor 25." The driver said, handing us each a set of keys. "You will be in rooms 25-6 and 25-7. The boys are in 25-2, 25-3 and 25-4. Make sure to tell them you are here."
I watched the man drive off leaving the smell of gas hanging in the air. I push the door up revealing an elevator. Lucas pushed the button and the doors opened almost instantly. We silently pile in. I hit the 25 button watching the numbers light up as we go higher. The ding of the elevator almost made we jump when we reached our floor.
I stepped off the elevator first, only to see a football(soccer) ball come flying at me. I was so surprised that I don't have time to dodge. The ball hit me square in the face almost making me fall over.
"Damn it Louis." An unfamiliar voice called from down the hallway. "Can't you aim."
"It's not my fault." Another voice whined. "She could have dodged."
The owner of the voices rounded the corner. My eyes instantly liked on the blonde one, the same one that was in my binder, my target.
"Niall." I murmured before the wave of blackness took over me.
