I excitedly rummaged my stuff together. Today I would finally see him again. I was so excited that my palms were moist and I could hardly catch my breath.
Finally there was a knock on my door and my mom called "Sasha is there, you must go!"
I grabbed my bag and then looked in the mirror again. My eyes sparkled and my smile was even creepy to me. I quickly shook my head and stormed out of my room.
"See you later" I said, kissing my Mom gently on her cheek and she just laughed and said "Have fun."
Sasha whistled as our crew drove up and I was amazed, too: we had get two buses for the day. I shoved in, made with all a handshake and let myself fall on an empty seat in the back.
Maya, one of our newest crew members, asked me "Already excited?"
"Nope," I replied cool, although I couldn't wait to look in his eyes again.
Far too much time has passed and not only he had changed, I was now much more mature. My hair was now blond and long and I had become more confident. Also, the glasses and the braces were gone, and my hobby was now a way serious thing.
My crew and I had entered a competition and won; we all could not believe that we should dance in the new video with the Justin Bieber. We knew neither how the song goes, the choreography nor where all this was filmed. We knew only one thing: that would be our big break.
As we slowly pulled up in front of a hall, the large doors were opened and we poured out of the buses. A security guy checked our names and then led us into the huge hall. In the hall there were already a few people, which introduced themselves Justin's dancers, choreographers and managers. They welcomed us and one of the choreographers, Nick, clapped his hands and asked, "We have seen your skills in the video, but are you as good live?"
We laughed shortly and I called "We are live even better!"
Jus' dancers and choreographers looked at each other with raised eyebrows and we formatted us with me on top.
"Turn me on, David Guetta" I called again and waited for the familiar music. Slowly, I rocked the beat with my foot and called "Five, six, seven, eight!"
Immediately I was in the middle of the music and the steps and hovered over the ground. Dancing gave me such a huge rush; there was almost nothing that I loved more. Almost...
When we were done a person started to applaud and nodded approvingly, until the others agreed. I wondered why this guy was wearing sunglasses in the middle of a hall, until I realized who this guy was.
"We have made exactly the right choice," Jus said and smiled at us. A couple of girls screamed slightly and my heart stopped for a moment to beat.
"OMG," I heard Sasha whisper and I just swallowed.
Jus came up to us, shook everyone's hand, hugged a few and then asked for the choreographer and I raised my hand. With his incomparable smile, he came up to me, took off his sunglasses and put out his hand to me.
"It's incredible to get to know you. I'm Justin and who are you?"
For a moment I could only stare at him, waiting for him to begin to laugh, hug me and introduce me to the others.
But he remained serious.
I handed him my hand, said "Grace Connor, nice to meet you" and only wanted to break his hand or to struck him in his face.
He smiled at me and said "I think so, too," withdrew his hand from me, turned to the rest of the crew and cried "Do you want to listen to the song to which it is all about here now?"
Everyone was cheering and laughed and rejoiced totally, while I could only stare at Justin.
He had absolutely got nothing. Nothing at all.
At one time the anticipation turned into nausea and I clung to Sasha. She looked at me worried and asked "Are you okay, sweetie?"
I nodded slightly, then straightened up again.
"Justin, stop!" I cried laughing as he chased me through the entire house with a water pistol.
"If you would stand still..." he cried and I heard as he came closer.
I ran out of the house, my brown hair whipped around my face. It was surprisingly windy, but really hot. I ran across the patio and then hid behind a large umbrella. I eagerly held my breath and dared not even to blink. Jus came closer and began to laugh.
"You do realize that I can see your feet, don't you?" he asked.
I cursed and came cautiously out from behind the screen.
"I surrender" I said with a shaky voice, hands raised and a smile on my face. He aimed his gun at me and then began to sulk.
"But that's not half as funny..."
I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Oh, Justin" I said and he began to grin again.
Then he took the gun and stretched his arms out to me. I sighed happily and we hugged. I sucked on the scent of his perfume and kissed his neck. He hugged me tighter and then lifted me up slightly.
"Put me down, Jus," I said laughing, but then his eyes began to shine and I knew he had an idea.
"Just wait a sec," he said, smirked and started to run.
I followed his eyes and screamed "No, Justin!"
"Oh, yeah," he replied, only took tarnish and jumped with me in the pool.
I cried out again after we showed up and Justin just laughed.
"Dumbass!," I said and he laughed again.
"That's why you love me," he said and smiled at me.
"And that's why you love me, because I can handle it myself," I said and he laughed and came swimming up to me.
I crossed my wrists behind his neck and pulled him to me, until we finally kissed.
We only stopped when Pattie called "Justin, phone! A Scooter Braun wants to talk to you!"
The bass of the song ripped me from my thoughts and my eyes were clear again.
Jus' new song blared through speakers and everybody moved to the beat and hummed with. Scooter smiled proudly and was obviously glad that the song was so well received. And I have to admit, the song really wasn't too bad. He had potential in any case.
When the song ended I caught myself bobbing and tapping and stopped it. I looked at Justin, while all the other began to applaud and cheered and he started to smile.
Tears burned in my eyes, but I still had hope. Maybe he was kidding. Maybe he was about to come over and say "Do you seriously think I would forget you?" Maybe... Maybe he had actually forgotten me. And everything we had experienced.
Only four years has passed, damn it! He couldn’t simply forget me! After everything we had been through!
