3. Auditions

I woke up at 5 a.m. to get ready and I left at 6 a.m.

I straightened my long brown hair and put on my black skinny jeans with a random top and my camouflage over throw thing with my black shoes and a beanie. I put on random jewelry that I thought suited my outfit for today and  grabbed my purse running out the door and into the limo. Since my dad won't let me drive my own car when he isn't in town, he makes me use the limo to be driven everywhere. It gets quite annoying but I understand that he just wants to protect me. Since some people are still so in love with him and his music, there are some fans that know me and won't hesitate to tackle me to the ground.

(Outfit below but the girl in the picture wearing the outfit is not Juno.)

Since I decided to wake up early and get there, I wasn't that far back in the line. Yeah, there were people who camped out; but I was only about person number 231. That's what my number tag said when I signed up and they handed me a paper to stick to my shirt.

I went and stood in my spot in line and waited patiently behind an annoying girl crying about how she was so excited and how she was going to be the next American Idol. Not kidding. Those were her exact words but I didn't feel like telling her that she was auditioning for the Xfactor.

After about 30 minutes people started flooding the area and auditions started. My estimated time to go and sing for the judges was around 9 or 9:30 so, I have about 3 hours of standing in line and being anti social. Great.

As I stood in line I dozed off, practiced quietly, or just stared off into nothing. Then all of the sudden I had this crazy idea to text my ex boyfriend? That was a fun conversation I guess.

Me: Sup?

Alex: Ugh, hi?

Me: Said sup?

Alex: Why are you texting me? You said you never wanted to see or speak to me again?

Me: Yup, I said that, didn't I? haha okay, bye.

Alex: Well, are you going to answer my question?

Me: Probably not.

Alex: Okay, fine. Then I am saying it, I don't ever wanna see or hear from you again.

Me: Okay, cool. Peace!

I realized after texting him, that when I am bored and have nothing to do, I do stupid shit. I get that from my dad- who am I kidding, I get every trait from my dad cause my mom hasn't been here my whole life. The only mom I know is my Aunt Victoria. She has been there for me since my dad was given custody of me by my mom-

"Number 231!?" A man in a yellow shirt yelled.

I stepped forward and he motioned me through  a door. When I walked through the door I realized that we were at the back of the stage. He took me over to a fat lady in front of a mirror who tried to fix up my make up and then when I refused I was lead up to the stage.

I could see American Idol girl on the stage. I am assuming she had just finished her performance because I heard Simon, Demi, say no and then the new judges say no. I only knew that one of the new judges names was Blake Shelton. I didn't know who the other judge was but I could hear that they were british and that it wasn't just one person judging. It was a group. A boy band as a judge? How the hell does that even work?

The American Idol girl came running off stage and after about 15 seconds I was motioned to walk out onto the stage.

I walked swiftly to the big red 'X' in the middle of the stage and waited for the judges to say something to me- Why is One Direction one of the judges? Thats ridiculous.

"Hello." Simon said looking up at me obviously disapproving of my style.

"Hey." I said trying to keep calm.

"And your name is?"

"Juno Marie Radke."

Some people in the crowd began screaming when they heard my name.

Simon looked back at the crowd then back at me, "You already famous or something?"

I smiled, "No, my dad is though."

"Who is your dad?"

"Ronnie Radke from Falling In Reverse."

"Well, I don't know him."

"I don't suspect you would."

"And why is that Miss. Radke?" He questioned rudely.

"Because you don't look like the type to listen to a heavier style of music."

"Yes, well, if you are done with you're attitude; you can tell us what you are singing and then get on with it."

"I'm singing Game Over by Falling In Reverse."

"Right well, sing."

I ignored his last comment and stepped back breathing in then out before looking up and waiting for the music to start. When the music began I smiled and then the words just flowed out of my mouth:

My life is like a video game,
Trying hard to beat the stage.
All while I am still collecting coins.
Trying hard to save the girl,
Obstacles, I'm jumping hurdles.
I'm growing up to be a big boy.

I battle with the evil ways,
I travel far, and try and save,
Sorry but your princess isn't here.
I take a rest, I push the pause,
Level up, and move along
In hopes that the next stage I will clear.
(I fucking passed asshole!)

I'm just trying to keep from dying

It's just a game that we play
And for heaven's sakes
Looking for a better way to play it!
Life is for keeping score and forever more,
Stop complaining and start changing it.

Today I went to therapy,
Told him my embarrassing
Issues that I'm having with my life.
He told me that I need to change,
Life is not a video game.
So stop playing and open up your eyes

I'm just trying to keep from dying

It's just a game that we play
And for heavens sakes
Looking for a better way to play it!
Life is for keeping score and forever more,
Stop complaining and start changing it.

Don't talk about it,
Just be about it,
Don't ever doubt it even when your brain is clouding.
I may be crazy,
But life's amazing
And through it all even with your problems facing.
So just know its okay.

My life is like a video game,
Trying hard to beat the stage.
All while I am still collecting coins.
Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Select Start.

It's just a game that we play
And for heavens sakes
Looking for a better way to play it!
Life is for keeping score and forever more,
Stop complaining and start changing it.
It's just a game that we play
And for heavens sakes
Looking for a better way to play it!
Life is for keeping score and forever more,
Stop complaining and start changing it.

When I finished the song I looked back at the judges to find them all staring at me wide eyed...
