*A Few Months Later*
Today is a sad yet happy day. The boys are done with their Pokémon journey, and we are leaving Lumiose City to live in Pallet Town. Everything is ready to go, and I'm just saying my goodbyes to everyone who I've worked with at the lab. I'm on the last person now: Professor Sycamore.
"I'm going to miss you and your amazing lab, Professor," I say.
"I'm going to miss you too, Rosalinda. I'm so glad I got to have you at my lab for a good while."
"Me too," I smile. "It's been fun. And don't worry, I'll be back to visit as often as I can. This is one of my favorite places on the planet. I'll be back before long."
He smiles, "I don't doubt it."
"Goodbye for now, Professor."
"Yes. Goodbye for now."
*The Next Day-Morning*
I wake up and take a look around my room. Boxes are everywhere. Today would be a great day to unpack. After I go reunite with everyone in town.
"Rosa, are you awake?" comes the love of my life's voice.
"Yeah. I'm awake," I smile.
"Bonbon and Clem are here. They want to go and greet everyone in town."
I sit up, "Give me twenty minutes and I'll be ready."
*An Hour Later*
"This is my good friend Clement," I'm introducing Alex and Clement. "He's Bonbon's big brother. My age."
"Hi, I'm Alex," Alex smiles and sticks out her hand.
"It's very nice to meet you," Clement smiles and shakes her hand.
"Same too you."
"Um, do you go on break soon? I'd love to get to know you better over coffee."
Alex smiles even bigger, "I'm going on break right now."
Those two make and adorable couple, and I approve it all the way.
*A Few Hours Later*
Ash and I are cuddled up on our couch in our new house. "It's nice spending time with you," Ash kisses my cheek.
"It is. It really is," I smile.
Clement and Alex were doing great when we left to take Bonnie over to Mrs. Ketchum's house. Nathen was over and was so happy to see Bonnie. They are turning out to be the best of friends.
"So, are we just going to stay like this for a while?"
"Just a little while longer," I sigh. "It's very nice."
We stay cuddled together for about five minutes, and then a knock comes at our door.
"I'll get it," Ash releases me, stands up, and heads to the door.
I sit in silence until Ash calls back. Then I hop up off the couch and rush to the front door. Standing in the doorway are two people I rarely see.
"Rosa," Red smiles.
"Great to see you," Pink smiles.
"Red. Pink. It's been so long," I say. Red is Ash's older brother and Pink is my cousin. They've traveled the world together and train a select few of Pokémon. They are also dating and love each other just as much as they lover Pokémon.
"Can you explain why you tow are here?" Ash asks.
"We wanted to visit home, and heard you were here," Red answer. "We had to stop by."
"So, you going to invite us in?" Pink crosses her arms.
"Ah, of course," Ash moves out of the way.
"Come right in," I smile.
*A Few Weeks Later*
I'm having the time of my life living with Ash, and close to everyone else I love. I am right where I've always belonged.
"Rosa dinner smells amazing," Ash comes up behind me.
"It's almost done as well. How's everyone faring in the living room?" I smile.
"Just waiting on the food. They seem very happy to be together like this."
"I'm glad. We're going to get everyone together like this more often."
"We will. Now, let me help you move the food to the dining room."
"I love you, Ash," I turn around and give him a quick kiss on the lips.
"I love you too, Rosa," he kisses me back.
This is where I belong. In Pallet Town, with Ash, and by my family. No matter what life throws at me, I'll always come back here.
