*The Next Day*
"Rosa!" my sister, Alex, runs around the Pokémon center counter to embrace me in a big hug. My sister looks like me in every way, and people often mistake us as twins. She has a different mindset and fashion choice as me, so it all works out.
"Hello Alex," I hug back. 'It's been a while, hasn't it?"
She holds me out by my shoulders and smiles. "Way to long. What are you doing here?"
"I was sent by Professor Sycamore to get some information on all my Pokémon."
"I knew all your Pokémon who come in handy one day," she looks at Bonnie. "And who's this little cutie," she lets go of me and crouches in front of Bonnie.
"My name is Bonnie, but you can call me Bonbon," Bonnie smiles. "I'm Rosa's assistant at the lab. And we're best friends."
"Well, that's awesome. You are going to go far as Rosa's pupil. She's a great teacher."
"She is. I hope to be like her on day."
"Keep hoping because it just might come true."
"She says that a lot, and you do too. That's awesome."
Alex and I laugh. "Well, we are sisters," I say.
"You've got a point.
"Well, I should get back to work," Alex stands up. "Please visit again before you leave."
"We will," I smile. "Don't worry."
*Twenty Minutes Later*
"Rosa, how are you? Professor Oak asks.
"Good, thanks Professor."
"Your Professor Oak," Bonnie exclaims.
"Yes, I am," Oak smiles at Bonnie. "And who might you be?"
"I'm Bonnie, but you can call me Bonbon. I'm Rosa's assistant at Professor Sycamore's lab."
"Is that right? Do you have fun and work hard?"
She smiles, "Of course."
Oak looks back at me, "How's work there, Rosa?"
"It's good. Um, is my brother here?"
"Yes, Tobias is in the backroom."
"Can we see him?"
"Of course. Go right ahead."
"Thanks. And it was nice seeing you Professor," I grab Bonnie's hands.
"It was nice seeing you too."
Then I lead Bonnie to the backroom door. We enter and see my brother playing with a Charmander, Maril, and Pidgey. His curly, brown hair is a little longer than it used to be, and I can just picture his bright green eyes. Mom says he looks just like dad; not that I care what my father looks like.
"Hello Tobias. Your sister is here," I say.
"Rosa," Tobias stands up and turns to face me. "Oh my goodness, sister. Why are you here?" He walks over to me and brings me into a hug.
"Business brought me home."
He lets go of me and looks down at Bonnie. "And you brought a friend," he swoops down and picks her up. Holding her in a hug. "What's your name kiddo?" He holds her on his hip.
Bonnie giggles, "My name's Bonnie. Call me Bonbon, though."
"And how do you know my lovely sister?"
"I'm her assistant at Professor Sycamore's lab."
"That's cool. Isn't it fun working with Pokémon?"
"It is. Pokémon are my life."
"Me too. Same for Rosa," he smiles. "You two are very alike."
"We are best friends. She's taught me a lot about Pokémon."
"Well, that's good."
"Hey Toby," I say. "Do you think you could take off early and take us to meet your wife?"
"Oh yeah. Just give me a few minutes to clean up and then we'll go."
