*A Few Hours Later*
"Professor, mega evolution, I have a question about it," I say.
"What would that be, Rosalinda?" Professor Sycamore gives me a small smile.
"Does it work for all Pokémon? Or just Generation One?"
"I'm not sure. That's a very good question, and I'm sure with your help we'll find some answers," he keeps smiling at me. He is one good looking fellow, but I'm not sure I want to be in a relationship.
"Professor," a lady rushes into the room we're in. The room is just a normal break room.
"Yes?" we both look at her.
"Three kids just walked in with a very hurt Froakie. I need help."
Professor looks back at me, "Finish your lunch, and then you come and fine me."
I smile, "Okay Professor."
Then he and the lady walk out.
"Pick," Pichu says as she climbs into my lap.
"I don't know what's happening. I just want to know who the kids are."
I pet her head and smile, "Let's hurry and finish lunch so we can go meet the kids."
We go back to eating and finish quickly. Then I pick up Pichu and rush off to the healing center room. Professor Sycamore, a lady, and three kids are there.
"I'm here Professor," I say.
Everyone turns to look at me and my heart skips a beat at who I see. The boy who walked out of my life years ago: Ash Ketchum. "Rosalinda?" Ash asks.
Then his Pikachu and my Pichu run to each other. Rubbing their cheeks together as a way to show love. They've missed each other so much.
"Hello Ash," I cross my arms and keep a firm stare.
"How have you been?"
"Just dandy ever since you left me," I snap.
"If you give me the chance, I can explain," he sounds so desperate. Ash is just a few days older than me; pitch black hair; light brown eyes; always has a snapback and a backpack on; five foot nine; still has a baby face, and by that I mean his face hasn't changed much since he was ten. Still, he looks hot no matter what. He always will to me. And yet, I'm not sure I can forgive him for what he did to me.
"You get one chance. Tonight at my place. I'll make dinner."
"Sounds nice. Like the Rosa I know."
"So Professor," I walk over and stand next to Professor Sycamore. "How's the Froakie?" I look at the Froakie in the little healing capsule.
"He's doing better," Professor Sycamore answers. "He got here just in time."
"Will he be okay in the morning?"
"Yes, he will. But how about we go look around the lab and let Froakie rest."
"Um miss," the little girl of the trio tugs at the hem of my dress.
I look down at her and smile, "Yes little miss."
"My name is Bonnie, and you r Pichu is so cure. Can I hold her?" Bonnie has blonde hair with some of it pulled to into a side ponytail; dark blue eyes; four foot five, or somewhere in that range; cute little outfit with a tutu like skirt; adorable shoes and purse.
"Of course you can. Pichu, go to Bonnie."
"Pichu," then Pichu jumps into Bonnie's arms.
I walk up to the boys, "Hello boys."
"Hi, I'm Clement," the other boy sticks out his hand.
I take his hand and shake it. "Nice to meet you."
Clement has glasses with dark blue eyes behind them; blonde hair with a piece sticking up; he's wearing a jumpsuit like thing. "Same to you," he releases my hand.
Then I turn to Ash, "Hello Ash."
"Rosalinda, it's been a long time," Ash says.
"All your fault that it's been so long."
"Um, come along Bonnie and Clement," Professor says. "I want you to see the Pokémon enclosure we have here."
Next thing I know, Ash and I are alone. "So, what brings you here?" I ask.
"A new region. I have to explore it."
"Of course you do."
"Stop being angry," he pulls me into a hug that I can't escape. "I'm so sorry."
"Are you? You just left me to go do you own thing," a few tears escape my eyes. "You have a lot of explaining to do."
"I'll explain it all. It's not a good story, but it's all I've got."
I cling to his jacket's back/ "I'm so mad at you. But I've missed you so much."
He holds me out by my shoulders, "I've missed you too."
"We should probably go head to the Pokémon enclosure. It's really cool."
Ash lets go of my shoulders and grabs my hand, "Lead the way."
