"Ash, stop messing with me," I giggle.
"But it's hard not to," Ash plants another kiss on my cheek.
"Is dinner ready yet?" Bonnie skips into the kitchen.
"Almost," I smile. "Mind setting the table, Bonbon?"
"Clement! Come help me set the table!" She walks out.
"I can't believe I get to call you mine," Ask puts his hands on my waist.
"I can't believe you've stood and watched me make dinner. And didn't help once," I say.
"You know I can't cook."
"Well, you can help me transfer the food to the dining room."
"Fine. Anything for you."
It takes us two trips to bring all the food to the dining room, and seconds for everyone to start chowing down.
"I love you guys being here," I say.
"And we being here," Clement says.
"This food is amazing," Bonnie says.
"Rosa's always been and amazing cook," Ash says. "It's the same with her mother."
"I can agree with that. Rosa's mother is just as good as Rose."
"Thanks guys," I smile.
"What are we doing tomorrow?" Clement asks.
"Can we go shopping Bonnie asks.
"That sounds like a great idea," Ash says.
"It's settled then."
*The Next Day-Late Morning*
"You look, beautiful," Ash says.
I twirl once again in the yellow dress I'm trying on. "Really?"
"Yes you are," he pulls me close to him. "You should get this dress."
I smile, "I will."
He gives me a peck on the lips, "Good."
"Rosa," Bonnie bonds up to Ash and me. Clement right behind her. "Look at my dress," she twirls. She's wearing a little blue dress.
"It's very pretty Bonbon," I smile. "You should get it."
"As long as you get the dress you're wearing."
"It's a deal then. Let's change and then go check out."
Bonnie smiles, "Okay."
"You didn't have to do this Ash," I say. We're sitting outside at a table that's part of a restaurant.
"I wanted to. We've never been on a proper date so I wanted to go on one," Ash smiles.
"Well, in that case, I'm glad we came. Are you planning our next date yet?"
"I was thinking we could go to the theater."
"That sounds lovely." Then a waiter comes by and drops off out food.
"This looks great," I smile.
"It does. Probably not as good as anything you could cook, though," Ash tangles our feet under the table.
"We'll just have to eat and see."
*The Next Day-Morning*
"What does the note say?" Bonnie asks.
"It says that the boys know we have to go into work today. So they're out shopping for our new houses in Pallet Town," I answer.
"They've got houses back in Pallet Town?"
"Um, in the process, it says. They've got two houses starting to be built as we speak."
"That's so cool. I can't wait to go back."
I set the note back on the counter. "Okay, enough talking about the future. We've got to get ready and go to work to help the future."
She smiles, "Okay. Let's just hope the day goes by fast so we can see the boys again."
"Just keep hoping because then it just might come true."
"So, did you get a lot of good things today?" I ask Ash. We're lying down on the couch just chatting.
"We found lots of good things," Ash says. "They're being sent back to Pallet Town, and will be put in the houses once they're finished."
"Are you shopping tomorrow as well?"
"Yeah, we want to visit a few more stores. Get a lot of variety in our homes."
"Well, while you're out and about. Would you mind grocery shopping?"
"Of course not. Do you have a list?"
"Yes I do. It's on the fridge."
"I'll grab it before I head out."
"Thanks. It's hard to get out and shop with such a busy schedule at the lab."
"I understand Rosebud, it's okay. I'll handle the grocery shopping."
"Okay. Thanks once again."
"Can we sleep right here?"
"Is that what you want to do?"
"Okay, well, goodnight," he kisses the top of my head.
"Goodnight. I love you, Ashy."
"I love you too Rosebud."
