*The Next Day-Early Afternoon*
"It's so, interesting here," I smile as Harry and I turn into another store. We are in Caesars Palace and it's amazing. Of course, everything is overpriced and we can't get anything.
"Are you glad we found a place to stay kind of on the outskirts of town?"
"A little bit. I love Vegas so far, though. Tons of places to visit. It's nice and warm. Not that we can really do anything. I mean, I know you guys will get your hands on some alcohol and may have some fun one night."
"Probably tomorrow. We've had to keep sober until now for the tour. But now, we aren't on tour. And can have a little fun."
I giggle, "You are such a dork. But, I do agree we should have some fun. I know we have, but now we won't be heading for another city for a while, so we can actually relax. Get comfortable in our hotel rooms."
"And actually have some time alone," he pulls me close and gives me a quick kiss.
"That does sound lovely."
*The Next Day-Evening*
"You are so beautiful, Buttercup," Harry giggles as we stumble into our hotel room.
I smile, "Thank you. You're quite handsome."
"Okay, you're really handsome."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
We make it to the bad and Harry takes a seat on the edge. I walk back and lean up against the wall.
The guys got a little drunk in the bar downstairs, and now that it's late, we've decided to take the boys back to their room to head to bed. All on different levels of wasted.
"You're really hot, too, Buttercup," Harry snaps me back to reality.
I sigh and look down at him, his eyes are darker than normal and he has a smile on his face. "No, don't even let your mind go there. Nope, not in the mood."
"When are you?" He stands up and walks over to me. Making it impossible for me to move away.
"Harry, this relationship isn't about us getting it on every time we can. I don't want to, so we aren't going to."
He grabs both of my wrists with one of his hands and brings my hands above my head. "It's almost been a year, just a little under two weeks now. And I've backed off when you've wanted me too. But now, I can't take it anymore. I need you. I want you." He gives me a kiss.
"No, Harry. You're drunk. I'm not in the mood. I also do not like you forcing yourself on me. This isn't how we are supposed to show each other we love one another. So, get off of me, now," I almost snarl at him.
"I'm in charge, and you will do as I say," his voice is much deeper than moments before.
"Stop, Harry. This isn't you. This is the alcohol. Please, let me go," my voice has become higher pitched. I'm trying to keep my breathing under control as I start to freak out.
"The alcohol is helping me speak my mind. That's all it is really doing."
"No, this isn't really you. I know you. You're not like this. Please, let me go and let's go to bed and forget this. I can forget this if you let me go now. Right now."
"Shut up!" he raises his hand that isn't holding my wrists as if getting ready to slap me.
"No, James please, don't hurt me!" The words are out of my mouth before I can even realize what they are. What they mean. I've flashed back to all the times James hurt me, and that's not good.
Harry realizes this in seconds. His grasp on my wrists goes away completely and his eyes lighten up. "Buttercup, I would never."
I shake my head as tears start falling. Then I shove him away from me and rush out of the room. I take a quick look around and notice Louis at the end of the hallway. He's carrying snacks that seem to have come from a vending machine. "Louis!" I exclaim before I start running towards him.
Louis stops walking and turns toward me, "Amber?"
I make it to him and quickly step behind him. "Harry, James, bad," I can't even form complete sentences since my brain is everywhere.
"What did he do?" Louis is now super angry.
"Buttercup, I'm sorry," Harry's voice fills my ears and I instantly cringe.
"Stay back mate," Louis puts his arms out to block me. Dropping some vending machine items in the process. "What did you do?"
"I didn't mean to, I swear. Buttercup, please, let's go back to our room and forget this."
"Did you hit her?" Louis asks.
"No, I would never do that."
"What is going on out her?" Delaney's voice fills my ears.
I turn around and see Delaney in her pajamas. I wipe the tears off my face the best I can. "Harry, no."
"Amber, go into the room with Delaney," Louis says. "You can stay with us for as many nights as needed. And Harry here is going to explain what happened."
"Buttercup, I'm sorry," Harry pleads to me.
"Come on Amber, let's get you settled in here," Delaney motions for me to come to her. "You can use my pajamas."
I take a look back at Harry before walking over to Delaney.
*The Next Morning*
I wake up to tears stained to my cheeks and last night's events blurry in my memory. Before I can do anything, a voice speaks up.
"Amber, are you up?" It's Delaney's voice.
That's when the events of last night come rushing back. It's terrible. It makes me want to start crying all over again.
"Yeah," I yawn.
"You going to cry? I know how you'll yawn to fend off crying."
"Well, Louis is down getting some breakfast for us. And then tonight we have tickets to a show. If you want to come, you can."
"I think I will. I don't want to stay here and be near him."
"Alright. I'll have to get some of your clothes from you room then."
"If he's gone, I'll go get them."
"We can wait until after breakfast. For now, we can relax and wait for Louis."
*The Next Day-Late Morning*
"IT's nice to hang out with you guys," I smile as Emily, Niall, and I take our seats in the hotel's restaurant.
"Well, we didn't have anything else to do," Niall says. "And you are, like, Emily's best friend. So this is perfect."
"Niall," Emily lightly slaps his arm. "We aren't supposed to have best friends within the band."
"Emily, it's alright," I say. "Everyone knows we all have our favorites. It wasn't supposed to happen. Yet it did," I shrug. "We are all friends. We are sisters, more than anything else. We are a band. We love each other. It's alright to have favorites. No one is going to get jealous."
"How was the Twitter contest yesterday?" Niall asks.
"Great," Emily smiles. "We asked for the Agents to tell us their best jokes. We were laughing so hard while you guys were out getting food or something."
"It really was great," I sigh. "Really got my mind off what happened a few nights ago."
*The Next Day-Afternoon*
"This is nice," I smile as I adjust my sunglasses and sit up a bit in the lounge chair.
"It really is," Olivia says. "This is what I will be doing a lot these next few weeks so I can have a great tan when we get back to school."
"Don't talk about school. Please, I don't want to think about it," I reach into my small beach bag and pull out a book.
"Don't you only have to go half a year?" Liam asks.
"That is still too long."
"I agree, but we will get through it," Olivia says. "All of us will help one another get through it."
"I wish I had friends like you girls when I was in school," Liam sighs. "But now I have four brothers. I guess sometimes you just have to wait and good things will come to you."
"Life is a waiting game," I say. "It really is."
Hope you liked it! I made it longer than the ones previous because I wanted to! More as soon as I get it typed up! :D
