"Hi Darcy." The ginger British lad said in front of me. It was Ed Sheeran. I was going to be singing with Ed Sheeran. Ok I must not fan girl.
"H-hi." I replied but it came out a but squeaky. Ok not fan girling failed. He just chuckled and shook my hand.
"I'm guessing your a fan too huh?" He laughed. I smiled sheepishly as I nodded.
"Yeah I am." I replied.
"Well we better get started." He told me.
"Yeah we should probably do that." I agreed. He stood next to a mic and so did I.
"Ok so these are the lyrics I high lighted what you are singing in pink and what we both are sing in orange." He explained as I looked at the colorful pages.
"Everything has changed." I read out the title of the song.
"Yeah I had a choice to sing the song with you or Taylor swift." He told me with a smile. He chose me over Taylor Swift. Oh. My. God.
"Why didn't you choose her?" I questioned being the curious person that I am.
"Well your new to the whole singing thing and from what I've heard you are a really good singer." He grinned and pulled his guitar over his head so it hung around his neck. "I have an idea what it should sound like but we can play around with it." He explained.
After doing some vocal exercises that ed taught me we spent about two hours just playing around and learning the lyrics. It was really fun. Me and Ed had a few laughs in the process. He let me take the lyrics home so I can memorize them.
I walked into my empty apartment and sighed. Hopefully my furniture will get here soon. I mean a 19 year old won't last very long without furniture. I only turn 20 on the 1st of November. I put my phone on the kitchen bench and I sat on the counter. Luckily I brought my docking station with me. I also brought a blanket and pillow so it should be enough for tonight. I plugged the dock in and placed my phone on it. I pressed shuffle on my playlist and 'All of the lights' came on. I started wondering around my new apartment and I looked at all of the rooms down stairs. I had only seen my apartment on the website until now. It was a beautiful apartment. I walked up the stairs to the second floor to look at the bedrooms. The main bedroom had a huge walk in robe with a giant bathroom. I was absolutely in love with the apartment though.
I returned to my suitcases and hauled them up the stairs to my bed room. I probably should learn to pack as much as I can carry since this suitcase is really heavy. Once I finally got it in my room I took out the things I needed. I brought two pillows and couple of blankets so I could have a bed for a day or two. Luckily the floor is carpet so it makes for an even softer bed. I laid out all of the things making a comfortable bed in the corner. Hopefully my bed will come soon.
I pulled out my phone and I just sighed. There were so many missed calls and texts from everyone in London. Mainly Louis though. A tear slid down my face as I pressed block on his number. I did it to all of their numbers. I had to let them go. I had to.
"So you learned the lyrics?" Ed asked as we were sat in the studio early in the morning.
"As much as possible I think I've got most of it though." I smiled giving him the thumbs up.
"Well that's good then." He grinned getting his guitar. "Remember don't rush it just let it flow." He instructed and I started singing trying to keep it flowing. Ed should become a music teacher because he is seriously good at this stuff. After we ran through the song once he told me what bits were good and what bits I should change. This was going to be really hard work.
