When the bomb went off my heart stopped because she was still in there. I needed to go get her. I couldn't let her die. I used my vampire speed to go through the flames in the building. I found her body. I went over to her, I picked her up and sped back over to my van. Blake and the other guys got into the other vans.
When I got to the hospital everybody was staring at me. I know THE Jason McCann is here at the hospital. I called Dr. Harvey to come and get help. They brought Adriana into the emergency room.
"Jason, she's gonna be okay. I promise." Blake said.
"But what if she's not? What if I go the next day and she's dead, without me saying goodbye?" I said while crying.
I cried on Blake's shoulder.
"It's ok man, let it out." Blake said while rubbing my back.
"I need her in my life. I can't survive without her." I said.
The doctor came in the hall.
"Jason? We have good news and bad news." The doctor told me.
"What's the bad news?" I asked with my eyes all puffy from crying.
"There is a 35% chance that she Is gonna live." The doctor said.
"The good news?" I asked.
"You can go see her." The doctor said.
"Ok." I said while standing up.
I went over to the room and saw her body white as snow. Her face was all cut. Her legs were all in bruises. It hurt me to see her like this. I went over to her bed and sat next to her. I grabbed her hand. It was cold.
"Babe, I'm so sorry this happened to you. If I could switch places with you, I would do it in a heartbeat. Please don't leave me. I need you to be by my side while I sleep. I need you to be in my arms. I love you SO much." I said. A tear slipped down my face.
I felt her hand move. She woke up.
"J-Jason." She asked.
"Baby, your awake!" I said.
Then she fell back down. Her eyes shut. The monitor for her heart slowed down.
"Doctor! I need help! Quick!" I yelled so that one of the doctors heard me.
The doctors and nurses came running in through the door.
"Wh-Why is her heart monitor slowing d-down?" I asked. Tears were spilling down my face.
"Jason, she's dying." The doctor told me.
"No! She can't be dying! I was gonna propose to her next week!" I said while I was practically sobbing.
"Jason, we need to get you out of this room." The doctor told me to go by Blake.
I was still crying.
"Jase, man, what's wrong?" Blake asked me.
"S-she's dying!" I said while sobbing into my hands.
"Jason, I think there is someone here for you." Blake said.
My mom walked in.
"Jason, come here honey." My mom came over to me and gave me I hug. I needed one. I cried onto her shoulder.
"Mom, I-I miss her so m-much!" I said. I sobbed more.
"Honey, it will all be okay. We just need to pray for her to be safe." My mom said.
"Mom! You don't get it! They said there is a 35% chance she'll live." I said while my eyes got more watery.
"Jason, we did the best we could to save her but... She's still having low breathing and lost a lot of blood. There's now a 50% that she'll live." The doctor told me.
"At least that's better than 35%." I said.
The heart monitor started beeping really fast then, went into a strait line.
"How could I pull the plug if you leave me flatline..."
