I had just gotten a call from Zayn. And he had said that Liam was taken by one of the monsters. That was a nightmare.
I told him that I'll meet him at his house. I ran to Zayn's house. Where was Liam? He was most likely in Hades' territory. The underworld.
I hoped the monster wasn't a minotaur or something. Because they are scary.
I rang the doorbell. Zayn opened the door, looking scared.
He shouted, "I saw it, Niall! Liam was taken down to the ground! We need to save him!"
I sighed, walking into the house. Because, as I said, I hated outside. It was scary for me. And I liked it inside buildings and houses because they made me think that I was more secure. Even though I really wasn't.
"How about contacting Chiron? It may help."
Zayn rolled his eyes.
"He's that geek from Camp Half-Blood. How would he help?"
I shook my head.
"It's obvious, Zayn. He knows what's happening. He may be able to help us rescue Liam."
Zayn said, "Okay, Niall. But let's wait until Harry comes."
I shook my head.
"Okay, when does that happen... We need to pick him up. I mean, he never leaves his room."
Zayn said, firmly, "But he'll have to leave this time. I mean, one of his best friends are in danger!"
"Let's hope that's a big enough excuse for him to leave his precious bedroom and see his father's creation; sunlight."
Zayn shook his head.
"I don't understand why that kid hates his father so much. I mean, all of the gods and goddesses treat their kids like trash. Why is he so upset?"
I told him, "You know why.. There was an incident... You know... Before... Years ago..."
I didn't want to mention that week. It was all terrible for me. Zayn nodded.
We walked out of the house (which I hated), and walked to Harry's house. We had to run a lot because some of the monsters really were after us.
But my power was great. You see, I am Poseidon's son. But I'm not so sure. Because I sort of have powers that Zeus has.
I like walking on places without any mortals because then, I can use my special powers. But they are really uncontrollable.
Zayn didn't know who his father was because he's not interested in knowing.
We walked into Harry's house.
I said to Harry's mom, "Um, we need to see Harry."
She led us to Harry's room. The door was closed, as always. We knocked on the door and opened it.
Harry was there, sitting on the bed, thinking.
I said, "Harry? Um, we need to go to Camp Half-Blood."
He shook his head.
"No, I don't want to. I don't want to go to that place where we get trained. I want to stay in my room for the rest of my life. I feel more protected. And my father can't bother me here!"
Zayn shouted, "Harry! Liam is in danger! We need to save him!"
Harry didn't budge.
"You guys can go. I can't do it, Zayn. I'm to angry and scared of my father."
I told him, "Harry, none of our fathers treat us well. We are all treated like trash. That's why we need to show them that we are not relying on them. If you keep acting weak and are afraid to meet your father and his creation, you are losing. If you want to win, you need to act strong and act against the gods."
Harry looked up at me and said, "But we can't act against the gods. That's like the law."
I shook my head.
"We need to save our friend because he's probably with Hades. And some gods are helpful. Some gods are evil. Deal with it, Harry. Don't you want to show your father that you're strong?"
"I guess you're right, Niall. I've been acting sort of foolish. Let's go."
We left Harry's room and went downstairs. Harry's mom smiled when she saw that Harry was going outside.
"Have a safe trip, Harry. Please stay safe."
Harry hadn't gone outside since he turned twelve. He hadn't seen a single monster for two whole years. He might be scared if he saw a monster.
We set off to Camp Half-Blood. Since it was far away, we decided to go to my house and ask my mom to drive us there.
I had never been to Camp Half-Blood, so I was sort of excited.
When we got to our house, I explained to Mom what was happening and what she had to do for us.
She didn't sound very happy that she'll have to drive us to Camp Half-Blood, but gave it in.
As we walked into the car, I thought about Liam. Was he safe? I sure hoped he was...
I hated going outside again. But since I sort of did want to show my father that I was strong, I decided to go outside.
I was in Niall's car. I thought about Chiron. Then I remembered about that horrible week. When my dad had betrayed me.
