9. The Rest of the 5th Sunday

Mia,

I was now woken up by a vibrating noise. I looked up to see that I was cuddled up in Mason's arms. I tried to slowly get up, hoping not to wake him from his slumber. I looked at my laptop that was shut down. The vibrating began to happen again. I searched all over my bed, but couldn't see what was causing it. "Fuck" Mason mumbled with his eyes closed. He then reached his pocket and took out his phone. "Hello?" he said. He stayed silent for a moment. "I'll be right out" he spoke up. I looked at him in worry. Mason looked over at me. "My sisters here" he stated. I got up from my bed. "Well, lets go, I want to go meet her" I said. Mason gave me a small smile while getting up. We then walked out of my dorm and headed to his. Mason opened the door to his dorm. He just grabbed his backpack that was right next to the entrance. "I hope she's nice" I stated. Mason closed the door behind him. "Ya, lets hope" he replied with sarcasm. I giggled at what he said. We then walked down the stairs hand in hand. A pretty girl started to appear at the entrance of the academy doors. She looked like a model. She had long brown wavy hair, hazel eyes, and her moon crescent was burgundy.

Mason and I finally got to the bottom of the stairs. "Hey sis" Mason greeted. "Little bro, long time no see" she responded. She then looked over at me. "Who's this?" she said with a big smile. Mason looked over at me remembering I was still by his side. "This is my girlfriend, Mia" he introduced. "Hi" I said. I stuck my hand out, but Natalie just went in for a hug. I gladly hugged back. When we let go she still had a smile plastered on her face. "Sorry, I'm Natalie" she said. I just nodded my head. "I'm going to go sign myself out" Mason announced. I watched as he walked away. "Your really pretty" Natalie commented. I just started to blush. "Your not so bad yourself" I said. "So, how did you guys meet?" she asked. I started to retrace my memory. "Well, I bumped into Mason, and he used my balcony to sn-" I was then cut off by Mason. He was now next to me. "I used her balcony to get some fresh air" he stated. I looked over at Mason in confusion. I then realized his sister didn't know he was skipping classes. "Fresh air huh" Natalie said while biting her lip. I could tell she wasn't buying it. "Yup, well, we have to go, bye babe, see you tomorrow, love you" he said. Mason gave me a tight hug while giving me a passionate kiss. He then left with his sister by his side. I blushed at his actions. He never gave me a kiss like that. It's usually like a peck on the lips or a kiss on the cheek. I also noticed that he said he loves me. When I replayed that part in my head, I didn't just feel butterflies in my stomach. I felt the whole entire zoo. I just turned around and walked up the stair case.

Mason,

When Natalie and I walked away, I then realized my actions. I wonder if Mia's mad. It kinda just happened. I started to feel my cheeks get red. "I like her, she seems cool, and you should feel proud, I mean I never like your girlfriends" Natalie stated. I just smiled at myself. "I just don't want to hear that you two broke up, or I'll come over to the academy and torture you forever" she said. We got inside the car. I noticed this was my dads car. "What are you doing with dads car?" I asked. Natalie then started the engine. "If you tell mom and dad that I'm driving their cars, then I'll tell them your skipping classes" she replied. I felt guilt wash over me, but also felt myself blushing. Natalie then drove off. "I'm going to a party tonight, wanna come?" she asked. I looked out the window while thinking about it. I then came to a decision. "Sure" I simply said. Natalie quickly gave me a Mc Donalds bag that was in the back seat. I took it, so she could put both her hands on the wheel.

  Mia,

I got to the front of my dorm. I decided to pay Drea a visit. I turned around and took a step forward. I knocked on her door. In a few seconds she flung the door open. She was just in sweats, a blue long sleeved shirt, a scarf that looked cute with it, and her hair was in a messy bun.

I swear it looked good on her, even with her glasses on. "Hey Mia, why is your face so red?" she asked. I widened my eyes at her question. "Oh, I just.....ummm.....ran a mile?" I questioningly said, hoping she would buy it. "Wow really....no wonder your so skinny" she commented. Drea the gestured me to go inside her dorm. I walked inside. I saw that she had books all over the place. She also had a huge pile of papers next to her desk. "Whats all this?" I asked. Drea closed the door behind her. "Oh, I have to study all day today so I could catch up on what the class is doing" she explained. I nodded my head while looking at the huge mess on her desk. "A tutor is going to come by at around 3 to help me with the work, I also heard that the tutor is also going to replace some 'missing professor' that used to work here" Drea added. So I guess Professor Lafont found a replacement for either Professor Infinity or Professor Dylan. "Did you know them?" Drea asked while reviewing her notes. I widened my eyes at her question. "Nope, not at all" I quickly replied. Drea just kept on reading her notes. She then put the papers down and looked up at me. "What are you doing today?" she once again asked. I sat on her bed. "I'm going to Six Flags with my mom, cousin, and aunt" I explained. I didn't even dare on adding my dad and uncle. I already knew they are going to watch the football game of the 49ers v.s the Packers. "That sounds nice" she commented while pushing her glasses up. I nodded my head. "Yup, I would take you, but you have to stay and study" I said while looking at my shoes. Drea just let out a sigh. An idea then came to my head. "Drea.." I said. "Yes" she responded. I looked over at her. She had her full attention on me. "If you want, I could lend you the key to my dorm" I said. Drea looked at me with confusion. "Why?" she asked. "So you could at least go somewhere, like when the tutor leaves, you can sneak out from my balcony and take a stroll, I can give you my friend Jacks number, he could take you to any place you want" I suggested. I could see worry on Drea's face. "What if I get caught?" she asked. I slowly shook my head. "You won't, no one is going to be here except for Professor Lafont and the tutor, plus I doubt Professor Lafont will come up to the room" I stated. Drea began to bite her nails. "What if she does?" she asked with curiosity. "Then put your pillows under your blanket and make it look like your asleep" I replied. Drea just stood there in silence. I then got up, walked over to her desk, and grabbed a piece of paper. I picked up one of the pens that were set out on her desk. "Here's Jack's number, he's a really nice guy, you'll like him" I said while writing on the piece of paper. I put the pen down. I grabbed her phone and put the paper under it. I then felt my phone vibrate from my back pocket. "That should be my mom" I announced. I hung up the phone, knowing she was already here. "Well, I have to go bye" I hugged Drea. "And think about it ok?" I asked. "Ok" Drea quietly replied. With that I closed the door behind me and paced over to my dorm. I grabbed my back pack and also grabbed my dorms key. I locked the door behind me. I then got down to the ground and slipped the key under Drea's door. "Good luck" I whispered. I got up and slowly walked down the hall.

Sapphire,

Olivia and I were almost at Sasha's house. The sun hasn't really rosin yet. "My feet hurt" Olivia complained. I rolled my eyes at her childish personality. "So, did you think about what I said the other day?" she reminded me. "I think I already told you that I'm not giving Andrea to you" I stated. Olivia began to look at her perfectly manicured nails. "Fine, but remember I can make the academy a living hell" she threatened. "But remember, I can always stop you" I mimicked back. Olivia just mugged me. "We're here" I announced. We were at the corner of the street. "No we're not, we still need to walk" Olivia spat. "Ya, but her house is right there" I pointed out. Olivia just rolled her eyes at me. We both paced over to Sasha's house. I stepped on her door step. Olivia ringed the door bell. We waited a few seconds until Sasha answered the door. She looked different. She used to have a short bob, but now she has long hair.

"Hey nice to see you guys again" she greeted. "Hi Sasha" Olivia and I both said at the same time. Sasha gestured us to go inside. "I like your hair" Olivia blurted out. Sasha then began to mess with it. "Thank you, it took a while for it to grow actually" she explained. We all walked to her living room where her table was set up. The room was dark. There were candles everywhere. I looked at the table witch had her spell book and a huge knife. "Who's first?" Sasha asked. Olivia then pushed me in front of her. Sasha smiled while walking over to the table. I followed her over. "May I see the ring?" she asked. I took my daylight ring out of my pocket. I set it on the table. Sasha began to flip through the pages of her spell book. She finally stopped at a page. She put her had out, so I could rest mine on it. I put my hand onto hers. "Ready?" she asked. I nodded my head in agreement. Sasha grabbed the knife with her other hand. She began to say the spell. Wind started to blow everywhere. It surprised me of how the candles where still lit with the pressure the wind was giving. I put my attention to Sasha. Her eyes were closed as she said the spell. It sounded like a bunch of voodoo shit. Out of nowhere she split my hand open. I screamed in pain as the blood flooded down my hand. I looked down at the puddle of blood. It started to suck into my ring. The spell ended with the candles turning completely off. Sasha let go of my hand. She then raised her arms in the air witch made the candles light up. I looked down at my hand. It healed fast, mostly because, well, I'm a vampire. Sasha looked over at Olivia. "Your next honey" she said in a sweet tone. I grabbed my ring off the table. It was now its original color. I watched as Olivia set her ring on the table. Sasha cleaned the knife which still had my blood smeared on it. "Ready?" she asked. Olivia nodded her head while taking her hand out, obviously knowing what to do. Sasha once again began the spell. Wind took over the room again. I saw their hair rise up. 'Is that how I looked like?' I asked myself in my mind. I watched as Sasha lifted the knife up. Olivia's eyes began to go wide. Sasha then quickly sliced Olivia's hand. Olivia cried in pain. I could actually see tears stream down her face as she covered her mouth with the other hand. Her blood fell onto the table like a waterfall. The candles then went out. "Can you turn the light on for me, honey?" Sasha asked me. I nodded while switching the lights on. I could see Olivia still had tears streaming down. "Little pussy" I teased. Olivia just grabbed her ring off the table and put it on. "So, where are you meeting your mom?" Sasha asked us. "Starbucks" I replied. She began to shake her head. "What if someone could kidnap you, the worlds not the safest place you know" she said. "But we're vamp-" Olivia managed to say, but Sasha cut her off. "I don't care if your vampires, you could reveal yourselves which can get you in a lot of trouble" she added. Olivia and I stayed quiet, knowing Sasha had a point. "Now, I'm going to call your mom and tell her to pick you guys up from my house" she said. Olivia and I nodded our heads like little five years olds. Sasha walked off to her kitchen to get her phone. My mom and Sasha are really good friends, since high school actually. When my mom turned into a vampire, Sasha helped her out. She was always by her side, and now shes always by our side. I looked at the pictures in her living room. They all had her daughter Jannel in them. Jannel is only nine years old, but she's pretty smart for a nine year old. She is the new witch in their family, which means she is going to take care of us if anything happens to Sasha. I sat on the couch. "I can't wait until we get to the beach" Olivia said with excitement in her voice. I just gave her a small smirk. Sasha then walked into the living room. "Where's Jannel?" I asked. I watched as Sasha sat on the couch close to me. "She went to a slumber party" she simply said. I nodded my head for a response.

Mia,

I was now in my mom's escalate. She was in the drivers seat, my aunt was in the passengers seat, Jessica on the right back seat, and I was on the left back seat. "So, how are you liking the school Mia?" my mom asked me. "It's fine" I simply replied while staring out the window. "How about you Jess?" my aunt asked. "Couldn't get better" Jessica sarcastically said. Dead silence started to fill the room. "Why are you guys so silent?" my mom asked. I just ignored her question. "I think we need music" my aunt suggested. She then turned the radio on. Maroon 5- 'She Will Be Loved' was on. I started to mumble the lyrics as quietly as I could. "Why are you guys so quiet, you love this song" my aunt asked. I just kept on mumbling the lyrics. The song then ended. I didn't feel like putting up with my mom's and my aunt's questions, so I turned my phone on. I started to listen to my music. I put it on shuffle. The first song that came on was 'Say Something' by Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World. As I heard the song, I started to drift off into sleep.

Mason,

Natalie and I got to the house. "Home sweet home" Natalie said while parking the car in the garage. We got out of the car, not even bothering on closing the garage door. We live in this very high class neighbor hood, which means its only rich people, so if you even leave your garage open, no one will even take it. Natalie opened the door to the kitchen. I stepped inside my house that I didn't even recognize anymore. "Did they remodel it?" I asked. Natalie grabbed a bag of chips from the pantry. "Yup" she replied. I nodded for an answer. "So did the remodeling affect my room or not?" I once again asked. Natalie shook her head while shoving chips in her mouth. I walked out of the kitchen and headed up the huge stair case. "I see mom added a bigger chandelier!" I yelled out while looking at the shining diamonds from above. "Oh that, ya, she got it a few months ago" Natalie added from the kitchen. I shook my head at my families decisions. I finally got to the end of the stairs. When I looked down the hall I saw a familiar face. I took a few steps ahead. "Martha, you still work for my parents?" I asked. She was a maid that cleaned the house. She worked for my parents since when I was born. She actually knows that Natalie and I are vampires, she was never scared of me, I actually set the line straight that I would never attack her. Natalie on the other hand, she tried to attack her the first few days when she became a vampire, after that she learned how to control her hunger. "Mr. Gearhart, let me take your bag" she said in an Italian accent. "No, you don't need to-" I said, but she cut me off. "No, I need to take your bag, that's why your parents pay me for" she explained. Martha shoved the bag off my shoulders and walked down the hall to my old room. "Like old times" I said to myself. I walked behind Martha as she opened the door to my room. I examined it. Nothing has changed, its like if I haven't even left the house a few years ago. "Thank you, Martha" I thanked while she walked out the door. I sat on the chair of my desk. I started to miss the old days actually. I tried to take my mind off of it by texting Mia.

Olivia,

Mom finally got to Sasha's house. I clutched my bag close to me as she entered. A huge smile started to form on her face. Mom then ran over to Sapphire and I. She gave us a huge hug. I actually started to choke because of how tight she hugged us. "I've missed you guys so much" she said. Finally she decided to let us go. "Where are you taking them?" Sapphire asked. Mom was still standing. "We're actually going to the beach, we should be leaving by now" mom suggested. Sapphire and I got up from the couch. "Would you like to come?" mom asked Sasha. Sapphire and I looked over at her. She slowly shook her head. "I can't, Jannel is at a slumber party, and I need to pick her up" she explained. Mom nodded as she understood. "Well, I'll call you when I can, bye" mom said. "Bye guys!" Sasha yelled out as we walked out of the house. We walked over to moms monster truck. I don't know why, but she had a thing for monster trucks. I paced quickly over to the truck. "I call shot gun!" I yelled out. I could tell Sapphire rolled her eyes. We actually have to try and bond in front of our mom. If we don't then she will get worried, and make us leave the academy. I opened the passenger door. I got in to see them still walking towards the truck. Mom hopped into the drivers seat. Sapphire just slipped into the back. "Here, my beloved sister" I said while handing my bag to Sapphire. She took the bag and put it to her side. "See, that's why I love you guys, I mean your not like other twins that always fight and get into arguments" mom said. I just nodded my head. She is so clueless.

Mia,

I woke up to my phone ringing in my ears. I woke up to see that I was still n the car. I looked down to see my phone in my lap. It said I had a new text. I looked to my right to see Jessica was sound asleep. I unlocked my phone and read Mason's text. 'Hi' was all he said. I just smiled to myself while biting my lip. I quickly sent a reply and took my earphones off. "Mia, your awake" my mom said. I just nodded my head. "We're almost there ok" she assured me. I just looked out the window. I noticed my phone lit up. I unlocked it and replied to Mason. He said he was going to a party later tonight. I got a little worried. I mean anything could happen at a party. He could get drunk, go to jail, or even worse, cheat on me. I tried to think positive, hoping that would never happen. I just looked outside. We were now getting off the freeway. I could now see the rides. "Jess wake up" my aunt said. Jessica started to wake. I just looked the other way. My then tried to find parking. I remembered about my daylight ring. I looked down at my hand, it was already there. I sighed in relief. My mom parked close to a tree, so when we get back the car wouldn't be like an oven. I got out of the car. I saw a lots of people getting out of their cars too. "Well, this should be fun" I sighed out. "So, do you guys want to walk or take the train?" my mom asked. "Walk" Jessica and I said at the same time. My mom and my aunt looked at each other. "We'll take the train while you walk" my aunt suggested. I felt my stomach clench. I had to walk ALONE with Jessica. This could be awkward. The two grown ups walked away from Jessica and I. There was dead silence between us. I then began to walk. I knew Jessica waited until I was far enough, so she could begin to walk. I stopped in my tracks letting the cars pass by. Jessica caught up with me, but I didn't even dare to look at her. "Thanks for leaving be back there" Jessica muttered. I rolled my eyes at her. "I thought you were mad at me" I simply replied. Finally no cars passed by, so I casually walked to the sidewalk. I started to see the huge duck pond. "Me, mad at you.....I thought you were mad at me?!" she yelled. I stopped in my tracks and turned to her. "Why would I be mad at you?" I asked in confusion. Jessica started to walk closer. "Well, because I'm hanging out with Olivia" Jessica reminded. I rolled my eyes at her. "Please, I might be a little bit mad about that, but I really just don't give two shits" I hesitated at the lie I just said. We stood there in silence while some people passed by us. "Look, I really just don't care if you hang out with Olivia, it's your life not mine" I added. When I said those two sentences, all I thought was 'lie, lie, lie'. "Really?" Jessica asked. I just nodded my head. Jessica then crossed her arms and lifted her head up to look confident. "Well, it is my life, so I was right and you were wrong"  she spat. I just puffed my cheeks up, waiting for something to happen. "So, are we good?" Jessica asked. I blew the air out of my mouth. "Ya, I guess so" I stated. Jessica then pulled me into a hug. I gladly hugged back. "I missed talking to you" she admitted. I just chuckled. We both let go and paced over to the Six Flags entrance.

Andrea,

It's already been 4 hours since everyone at the academy left. I was now on my 11th text book, that I needed to study. I looked to my right to see a stack of notes. The stack was on the ground, they almost went to my knee. I then heard a knock at my door. I put my pencil down while getting up. I walked over to the door and slowly opened it. I saw a woman that was in her mid twenties.

"Hi, I'm your tutor, Ms. Janis, you must be Andrea" she greeted. I was too shy to say anything, so I just nodded. "May I come in?" she asked. I stepped to the side, as I opened the door widely. Ms. Janis stepped into my dorm. She had a huge Michael Kors purse. It actually looked brand new. "I could see you already studied without me" she said while looking through my stack of notes. I watched as she put her purse down to pick all my notes up. "I could see you got the vampire history done" she stated. I sat on my bed. "You take health class?" she asked. I just nodded my head. Ms. Janis looked over at me. "I can tell your shy" she added. I still stayed quiet. "You don't need to be shy, you can talk to me, think of me as your best friend" she suggested. That reminded me of Noah, when he also told me to not be shy around him. "So, like I said, you take health class?" she once again asked. I then decided to talk. "Ya, I like to keep myself healthy, but I'm also a vegetarian" I said. Ms. Janis looked surprised at me. "So you don't drink human blood?" she asked. I shook my head as an answer. Ms. Janis walked over to me and sat on my bed. Her full attention was still on the notes. I then noticed her crescent moon, it was white, like Mia's. "Your moon is the same color as one of my friend's" I pointed out. Ms. Janis looked up at me in confusion. "What do you mean?" she said. "I mean that my friends crescent moon is identical to yours" I explained. Her eyes widened at my sentence. We sat in silence for a moment. She looked like she was in deep thought. I watched as she snapped out of it and looked directly at me. "What's her name? Does she go to this school? How old is she?" Ms. Janis kept on throwing me questions. I widened my eyes at her curiosity. "Woah, woah, woah, hold your horses" I said while putting my hands up. She then put her hair behind her ear. "Sorry" she apologized. We once again sat in silence. "Her names Mia" I spoke up. Ms. Janis put all her attention on me. "She's sixteen and yes she goes to this school" I added. Ms. Janis sat there. I guess she was quite the thinker. I watched as she got up. "I'm sorry Andrea, but I guess we'll have the tutoring session another day" she stated. Ms. Janis got up, grabbed her purse, and walked away. I sat on my bed, in shock. I wonder what was her problem, I mean just when I mentioned Mia, she then started throwing questions at me expecting I would answer. Even though I kinda did. I looked over at my desk full of papers with a sigh. I decided to get up and continue my work.

Mason,

I woke up to Natalie shaking me. I didn't even know I fell asleep. "Mason" she said. "What do you want?" I asked. Natalie rolled her eyes at me. "AGAIN WITH THE ATTITUDE!" she pointed out. I sat up on my bed. I looked at the clock that was on the wall. "Its already six o'clock?" I asked. Natalie looked over at the clock. "Oh, well then ya" she simply replied. I looked to my right to see my phone. I turned it on to see that Mia sent me a message. "What I wanted to say was, that, the party starts in an hour so get ready" Natalie reminded. I just shooed her away. I looked down at my phone and decided not to reply to Mia. She must be on roller coasters, eating dippin dots, or playing games. I didn't know what to wear, so I pulled my white t-shirt on and also pulled on my cargo shorts. I tied my vans on making sure they were tight enough. "Mr. Gearhart" someone said. I looked up to see Martha at my rooms door. She had the house phone in her hand. "Your parents are on the phone" she explained. I got up and walked over to her. I grabbed the phone from her hands. Martha then walked away. I brought the phone to my ear. "Hello?" I casually said. I then recognized my moms voice when she spoke up. "Hey sweaty, sorry your father and I couldn't be there, but I hope we get to see you soon" she greeted. I just nodded my head forgetting she couldn't see me. "It's ok, I'm pretty fine here, alone, with my lovely sister" I said sarcastically. My mom laughed on the other line. "oh, how I missed your sarcasm" she said. I just rolled my eyes. She's just pretending to care, I mean, I don't think of her as a mother, usually when Natalie and I were kids, my parents would hire a nanny to babysit us while they traveled the world. That's why whenever we have a proper family meal, which never happens, its always so awkward and quiet. "Ummm, mom I'm going to have to call you back, I'm going to a party" I explained/lied. I then quickly ended the call, before my mom could say another word. I don't really like our conversations. I walked down the hall until Natalie stopped me. "What did mom say?" she asked from her room, which was open. "Mom called to apologize" I stated. Natalie rolled her eyes while brushing her long hair. "Fucking liar" she muttered. I just nodded my head in agreement.

Sapphire,

We were still in the car. It was along way to the beach. "Which beach are we going to?" Olivia asked. I looked outside the window to see a lot of rides. I widened my eyes. I've always wanted to come here, but we never found the time. "Well, since we're here, we are going to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk" mom announced. I could tell Olivia was excited. We parked the car in the parking lot. I could see a lot of people with glasses on, holding their bags, man handling their towels, and spending loads of time with their families. "I can't wait to fulfill my dream and ride the Farris Wheel with a cute guy" Olivia said with excitement in her eyes. "In your dreams" I muttered. When mom wasn't looking, Olivia took advantage of the time to mug me. We soon got closer to the sand, so I decided to take my boots off. I took my backpack off and looked through it. I didn't even notice that Olivia and my mom left me there. I finally found my flip flops. I took them out while slipping out of my boots. I took my socks off and quickly slipped my flip flops on. I grabbed both my boots and socks and shoved them into my back pack. I looked up to see no one at my side. "Nice to be back" I muttered to myself. I walked onto the sand. It was starting to burn my feet from how hot it was. "Sapphire catch up!" Olivia yelled out. I looked up to see that they had already chosen a spot. I walked over to them while mom out the umbrella up. "I wonder if there's any boys around?" Olivia asked while looking around. I just sighed. "This is going to be a long day" I mumbled to myself.

Andrea,

It's been an hour since Ms. Janis left. I decided to take a break from all the notes and studying, mostly because my hand was starting to hurt. I was sat on my chair, thinking about what Mia said. I mean I'm scared that I might get caught, but then again this is really boring. I then decided to take Mia's advice. I looked at the clock. It was already 6:05. I looked over to my phone which was still placed on my desk. I grabbed it to reveal the phone number Mia gave me. I quickly dialed the number. It started to ring a few times until some guy answered. "Hello?" he said. I stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. "Hello?" he once again asked in confusion. I then began to speak up. "Umm, hi" I simply greeted. "Hi.....who's this" he asked. I hesitated a little at my answer. "M-my friend Mia t-told me to call you i-if I needed to go s-somewhere" I stated. I then heard him laugh on the other line. "Oh, your one of Mia's friends, well then I'll be on my way" he replied. I just nodded my head while speaking. "Ok, thanks" I simply responded. We both hung up. I didn't know what to wear. I was only in my sweats. I walked over to my wardrobe and looked through it. I then finally found something I liked.

I then added a black tank top under, so I could feel comfortable. Everyone left in shorts and tank tops, but that's because they were going to sunny places. Here at this location, its pretty cold. I looked in the mirror. I pulled my tan shoulder bag out of the wardrobe and flung it on me. I decided to let my hair down, so pulled the hair tie out of my hair. My curls fell down. I quickly brushed my hair and applied some Moroccan oil to it. I paced over to my desk and opened one of the drawers. I grabbed my wallet and shoved it into my bag. I then heard my phone vibrate on my desk. I picked it up to answer it. "Hello?" I said, but already knowing it was the guy. "Hey, I'm already outside" he stated. I looked over to where I left Mia's key. "Ok, I'm on my way out" I simply said before hanging up. I snatched the key off my desk. I walked over to my bed and put the pillows under my blanket, to make it look like I'm sleeping. I then turned the lights off and locked my door behind me. I quickly paced across the hall to Mia's dorm. I pushed the key into the door knob. I opened the door to see Mia's room. I entered while closing the door behind me. I paced over to the balcony. I exited Mia's dorm and jumped over the railing. "Shit" I muttered when my foot got stuck in the middle of the bars. I tried to pull on my leg, but it didn't work. I sighed in disappointment. All of a sudden I felt two hands pull on my arm. I quickly turned to see a really cute guy.

I widened my eyes. I then snatched my arm out of his grip. "Who are you?" I asked in a scared tone. "I'm Jack, I was suppose to pick you up" he explained. I nodded in relief. "What are you doing here.....I thought you were waiting in the car" I stated. "I was waiting for you, but you took long, so I got worried and thought to try and see if I could find you" he said. I just turned to see my foot still in the middle of the bars. "Well, as you can see, my foot is stuck" I pointed out. I heard Jack chuckle behind me. He walked towards my leg. "May I?" he politely said. I nodded my head, so he could continue. Jack grabbed my leg. "Ok, on three you start to pull, ready?" he asked. "Ya" I mumbled. "One......two.......three!" he yelled out. I pulled as hard as I could. I then felt Jacks grip get tighter on my leg. We both stopped our pulling. "Again?" he asked. I nodded my head in agreement. "Ok, one.......two......three!" he ounce again yelled out. This time, I used all my strength. I could also tell Jack used all his too. Finally when I was about to give up, my foot slipped out of the middle of the bars. "Thank god" I sighed out while rubbing my ankle. "Does it hurt?" he asked. "A little, but I could walk it off" I stated. Jack nodded his head. I followed Jack to the corner of the roofs end. There was a brick wall near it. He leaped over to the brick wall. I took a few steps back. My ankle was still sore, but it didn't hurt as much as it did before. I then jogged over to the end of the roof and leaped onto the brick wall. Jack jumped off the brick wall. He then looked up at me. "Jump off, I'll catch you" he stated. I shook my head in worry. "I d-don't trust y-you" I stuttered. Jack let out a long sigh. "If I let you jump off, then you might as well just break your ankle" he explained. I slowly looked down to the ground. It was a long way down. I then agreed. "Don't drop me" I yelled out. Jack just gave me a nod while holding his arms out. I sat on the brick wall and slid my body forward while closing my eyes. Out of nowhere I then felt weightless. Wind was blowing on my face. I then felt strong arms around me. I opened my eyes to see Jack was holding me bridal style. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" he said. I shook my head for a response. Jack just laughed at my childish response. Jack let me down on the ground. "So, where do you plan on going?" he asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know, anywhere I guess" I simply replied. I looked to my right to see Jack's car. He opened the passenger door for me. I slipped onto the seat. Jack closed the door, jogged to the other side of the car, and got inside. "Should we go to The Streets of Brentwood?" he asked. I then looked through my bag, making sure I had my credit card. Just when I found it, I looked over at Jack, who had his full attention on me. "Ok" I simply replied. Jack started the engine and began to drive.

Jessica,

We were already inside the amusement park. My mom and aunt wanted to watch the dolphin show, so they left Mia and I by ourselves. "Which ride do you want to go on?" I asked. Mia looked to her left, then to her right. We were near the fountain, next to the gift shops. "How about, Medusa" she suggested. I nodded in agreement. We headed over to the ride to see a long ass line. "Or Roar, we could go on Roar" Mia said in a high pitched voice. I once again nodded on agreement. We walked all the way to the other side of the park. We then finally got to Roar. The line wasn't that long. It only took us ten minutes until we got on the ride. Mia slid to the right side of the seat, while I slid next to her. "Safety first" Mia announced. She then buckled the seat belt above our laps and pulled on the loose strap, which made it really tight. "God Mia, that hurts" I complained. Mia just shrugged it off and pulled her bar really close to her. I then pulled mine to. The guy on the microphone began to speak. I really didn't care about what he said, I mean he always says the same thing 'put your seat belts on, blah blah blah, have fun on the ride, blah blah blah, put your hands out and roar' then people would actually start yelling. It irritated me. I felt the ride moving. "Finally" I mumbled to myself. We then went down on a little hill which took us to the bottom of the huge hill. "Get ready for when they take a picture" Mia reminded. "Ok" I simply replied. We then got to the top of the hill. It went slow, but when we began to fall, I could see how steep it was. Everyone was either screaming or yelling because of the drop. Mia and I on the other hand were laughing our asses off. We passes by some other small drops, and some turns. We finally got to the drop where they take your picture. "And......GO!" Mia yelled out. I quickly let go of the bar. I put piece signs up and smiled. Just when I saw the flash was gone, I immediately grabbed onto the bar. The ride soon ended. It was riding slowly until we got to where we started. Mia and I hopped of and ran straight to the exit. "I can't wait to see the picture" I stated. "I know right" Mia responded. As soon as we got away from the wooden exit, we jogged over to booth, where they show the pictures. "Where are we?" Mia asked. I shrugged my shoulders while skimming through every picture that was on the little screens. "Oh, we're on that one" I pointed out. Mia asked the lady if she could put it on the big screen, so we could see it. The lady nodded. I watched as the picture appeared. "Oh my god........ I LOOK AMAZING!" Mia shouted. I looked over to Mia to see she had her thumbs up while smiling. "Your teethe are so white that it even shows on the picture" I said. Mia then took a close look at herself. "True" she agreed. I looked over at myself. I didn't even realize that my hair was flying back. "The fuck is wrong with your hair!" Mia blurted out while laughing. I just laughed at my ugliness. "I know, I look weird" I stated. The picture then disappeared as Mia and I walked away.

Mason,

Natalie and I were already in front of the house, where the party was at. "Get ready little bro, make sure you don't make me be the mother in there" she stated. I rolled my eyes at her sentence. We then got inside the house. The smell of alcohol, drugs, and sweat filled my nose. "Welcome to hell, little brother" Natalie said before disappearing into the crowd. I headed my way over to the kitchen to get a drink. Obviously Natalie was there. "Here" she simply said while holding a red plastic cup out for me. I gladly took it, then chugged it down. I felt it burn my throat as it traveled down my body. "What kind of beer is this?" I asked. Natalie gave me a smirk. "It's what we always drink, Budlight, but this time my friend Elizabeth put something so strong in it that even makes a vampire drunk" she replied. I widened my eyes. "That's dangerous for humans you know, with one sip of this, there life is over" I stated in worry. Natalie grabbed another cup and chugged it down. After that she looked over at me. "Who said these people were humans" she stated. Natalie walked off without even taking a glancing at me. I just shrugged it off and poured more of the liquor into my cup. For about thirty minutes I was just standing next to the counter, minding my own business. Every time I took a chug out of my cup, I felt it kicking in. There were also some girls that would be checking me out, but I'd ignore them. When my cup was empty, I turned around and poured more liquor into my cup until a voice stopped me. "Really, your only going to drink that for the whole night?" I girl asked. I looked up to see a pretty blonde girl.

"Ummm, ya I was planning to" I talked back. The girl walked closer to me and sat on the counter. "Well, If I were you, I'd drink some shots instead" she suggested. I ignored her suggestion and took a sip out of the plastic cup. The girl turned around for a second. When she turned back, she had two shot cups and a bottle of whiskey. "I'm Elizabeth" she stated while pouring the whiskey into the tiny glass cups. "Your sister told me all about you, she mentioned that you go to Vampires Academy" Elizabeth said. She then handed me the shot, so I gladly took it. "Yup, that's all true" I said while watching her chug down the shot. "But, she never told me you were really hot" Elizabeth commented. I just gave her a fake smile and chugged down the shot. It started to make me a little dizzy. "Want to dance?" she asked. I didn't really know what I said, but it made her pull me out to where the music was at. We were soon grinding on the dance floor. I could also hear some guys cheering me on. After a while I walked off of the dance floor. "What, you can't keep up?" Elizabeth yelled out to me. I gave her the drinking sign which made her follow me. I got to the kitchen and took another shot. All of a sudden I felt someone turn me around, they started to kiss me. I looked at the person to see it was Elizabeth. I don't know why, but I couldn't stop kissing her back. Maybe it was the alcohol that was causing this. Everything was a blur now. All I felt was Elizabeth grind against me. From then on, everything went black.

Olivia,

I started to draw on the wet sand. "Olivia honey, aren't you hot with that hoodie on?" mom asked. I barley realized I still had it. "My bad!" I yelled out. I quickly flung the hoodie off of me, to reveal my outfit. I could tell my mom didn't like it from the look on her face. "Or you could put it back on" she quickly suggested. "Nope, I'm fine!" I replied. Mom just shook her head an put her attention back on her magazine. "Where's Sapphire?" I asked. Mom still kept her full attention on the magazine. "She said she was going to have some time to herself" mom stated. I just shrugged it off and started to take pictures.

Sapphire,

I tried to get as far as possible from mom and Olivia. I was now sat on these huge boulders. No one was here, it seemed abandoned. I took my sketch book and i pod out. I started to play Black Veil Brides while sketching random things I saw. I sat there for a while until I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and looked up to see this blonde guy.

I quickly took my earphones our. "Who the fuck are you?" I asked in complete confusion. The guy gave me a smirk. "I think I should be asking that to you too" he responded. I just shook my head and looked down at my random sketches. "So, your not going to give me a name?" he asked. I rolled my eyes without him knowing. "Why should I tell you?" I once again asked in annoyance. The guy chuckled while sitting next to me. "Well, we both came over here to be alone, so maybe fate brought us here" he stated. I just kept quiet, trying to ignore him. "Ethan" he simply said as he took his hand out to me. I looked at his hand and then at him. He had a pleading face, telling me to not reject. "Sapphire" I simply said. I took his hand in the middle of my index finger and my thumb. I shook his hand, then got back to my sketches. "Your acting like I have rabies or something" he said. I looked over at him with my hand on my head, supported by my elbow that was on my sketch book. "I don't know, do you?" I sarcastically asked. He shook his head with a chuckle. "Not at all" he replied. I nodded my head and looked back to my sketches. "So, whats up with the moon crescent, is it a tattoo, birthmark, or something?" he asked. I widened my eyes. I literally didn't know what to say. "It's........ummmm.........a.......birthmark?" I questioningly said. I then felt his presence leave. I looked to the corner of my eye to see he was gone. "Finally" I sighed to myself. I then jumped at the sound of Ethan's voice. "It's such a nice day huh" he stated. I looked up to see him near the water. "Mhh" I simply replied while finishing one of my sketches. "I can tell you like to draw" Ethan pointed out. I looked up at him and nodded. "Yup, since I was ten" I added. Ethan walked back to the boulders where I was sat. I examined him. He looked like a male model. Just when he was about to look back at me, I stopped him. "No!" I yelled out with my hands gesturing him to not move. Ethan made a confused face. "What?" he asked. I rolled my eyes at him. "Don't move.....just.....sit there" I instructed. Ethan playfully rolled his eyes like I did. He sat still while I began to draw.

Mia,

Jessica and I spent hours on the roller coasters. Finally it was time to go. My mom had already called me multiple times, and told me to meet her at the front of the amusement park. Jessica and I headed over to the front where another gift shop was at. As the cold wind hit me, I felt goosebumps form onto my skin. "Its getting cold, do you want to go buy a hoodie at the gift shop?" I asked Jessica. "Sure" she simply replied. I checked my back pocket to feel my phone. I took it out and took the case off. "You keep your credit card there?" Jessica asked. I just made a smirk. "Yup, well, for now on because my mom barley gave it back to me today" I explained. "I saw" Jessica replied. We walked inside the gift shop to see lots of cool stuff. There were crazy looking hats, stuffed animals, loads of candy, some clothes, and nick knacks around the cashier. I headed towards the racks of clothes. "What kind of hoodie do you want?" I asked while looking at all the different colored hoodies. "Well, I was thinking about getting one that is all black with a batman sign" she stated. I just sighed while looking through the hoodies. "FOUND IT!" Jessica yelled out in happiness. She held it up so I could see it. I just gave her a thumbs up as she walked away. I felt frustration wash over me, but I  just skimmed through the hoodies, and found nothing. I was about to give up until something caught my eye. I took a glance to my right to see a teal hoodie that said 'Supergirl' in hot pink faded letters. It also had the superman sign, and said 'Six Flags' at the bottom in white faded letters. I thought it looked pretty. "Did you find one?" Jessica asked. I nodded while taking the hoodie off of the rack. "Pretty" she complimented. "And its in my size" I added. Jessica just nodded her head slowly. "I was looking at the necklaces over there, you should get one for Mason, like a couples one" she suggested. I stood there looking at her in disapproval. "Ummm, you really want Mason and I to have one of those cheesy relationships?" I asked. I really didn't want a cheesy relationship with him, because everything would be expected instead of not expected. I want to be surprised instead of knowing what was going to happen. Jessica gave me pleading eyes. After a while I then gave in. "Fine.....but if Mason gives me a 'what the hell' face, then I'm blaming it on you missy" I threatened. Jessica quickly turned me around and pulled me to the jewelry. "I'll help you find the perfect one" she announced. I just gave her a smirk. "Great..." I sarcastically said. Jessica rolled her eyes and put all her attention on the necklaces. Speaking of Mason, I am really wondering what he is doing at this second. Maybe he's drunk and can't find his way home. That would be funny, but then again he can get hit by a car. Jessica interrupted my thoughts. "Mia, I think this is the one" she singed. I rolled my eyes at her positive attitude and looked at the necklaces she was showing me. "I mostly prefer this one" she added. I looked at the one she handed me. On one necklace it had 'Taken' in this girly handwriting. I then looked at the other. It also said 'Taken' but in this black bold writing. "I guess this ones supposed to be Masons" I said while looking up at Jessica. She nodded like a little five year old. "Fine" I simply said. I walked over to the cashier as Jessica followed behind. I set the items on the counter. "Is that all?" she asked. "Yup" I replied. The lady scanned the items on the scanner. I swiped my card on the swiper thing. I then typed my code. The receipt came out as the lady took it off. "Would you like this in a bag?" she asked. I shook my head. The lady gave me the receipt while I grabbed the hoodie and necklaces. "Thank you" I yelled out to her. We soon walked out of the gift shop. I noticed Jessica already had her hoodie on. "Can you hold this?" I asked. Jessica grabbed my phone and necklaces. I took the tag off the hoodie and threw it in the garbage can. "I see them" Jessica pointed out. I quickly slid the hoodie on me. I then took my stuff back and shoved them into the pocket of my hoodie. "There you guys are, we were looking for you" My mom said. "Sorry, we were at the gift shop" I replied. My mom nodded as she understood. "Well, its getting dark, we should go now" My aunt suggested. We started to walk out of the amusement park. "Do you want to take the train?" My mom asked. I nodded, then took a glance at Jessica. "Sure" she casually said. We got in line for the train and waited for it to arrive.

Andrea,

Jack stopped at a stop light. It was at the entry of the Streets of Brentwood. He took a left turn. The sign was very visible by the little lights under the plants that was suppose to illuminate it. "I think we have to park at the back" he stated. I just nodded my head. I had already told Jack that he could accompany me, so I wouldn't look like a loner. We were soon at the back. There were barley any cars. Jack picked a spot next to some other white car. I heard him turn the engine off while I unbuckled the seat belt. I opened the car door to feel the fresh air hit my face. I took advantage of that time to take a deep breathe. Jack then scared me. "Really, my car doesn't smell that bad does it?" he asked. I laughed while shaking my head. "No, it doesn't, it was just suffocating in there" I stated. Jack just closed the door to the car. He lead me to the side walk. I looked to my right to see American Eagle and then to my left to see a pretzel place. Lights were all over the place. It was very pretty, they were also on the palm trees. "Which store do we go to first?" he asked. I looked over to American Eagle. "Ok" he simply said. We took a right turn and opened the glass doors. There were clothes everywhere. It was very organized, just how I like it. "Hey welcome to American Eagle, just wanted to say that all the clothes that are on sale are at the back of the store with a white tag" a guy said. I nodded at him. "Thank you" I sweetly said. I walked over to a rack of clothes. They were organized from small to large. "Are you going to buy anything?" Jack asked behind me. I shrugged my shoulders. "Depends if I like something" I said. He didn't say a word, but his presence was still behind me. "If you want....we could just hang out outside.....get to know each other?" he suggested. I tried to keep a straight face. I then turned to him while giving him a small smile. "Sure" I simply replied. Jack flashed me a smile before we exited the store.

Sapphire,

I was almost finished with Ethan's drawing. "Are you done, my arms hurt" he complained. I just rolled my eyes at him. "I'm almost done, I just need a few more details" I stated. Ethan let out a long sigh. "And..........done" I said while writing my signature at the bottom right. Ethan quickly started to move from his position. "Finally, my arms were killing me" he stated. I watched as he flexed his muscles. Ethan then noticed me. He just gave me a smirk. I then realized I was also biting my lip which made me blush. "May I see the drawing?" he asked. I quickly nodded my head while handing him my sketch book. I didn't even dare try to stare at him. He had already caught me once and I don't want him to catch me again. I couldn't help myself anymore. I quickly took a glance which foully ended up as a stare. I examined his blonde hair, and his sharp jaw line. Ethan looked up at me. His blue eyes looked like the oceans color. I shook my head not even knowing what I was thinking about, I mean I never say that, I'm not myself right now. I'm some other version of Olivia. I started to panic. "It's good" Ethan spoke up. I quickly snatched my sketch book out of his hands while gathering my things. As soon as I had everything, I paced to mom's and Olivia's direction. "Where are you going?!" Ethan yelled out in confusion. "Far away from you!" I yelled out. I could feel Ethan was staring at me as I walked. I took a glance back at him to see he was following me. I started to walk as fast as I can until Ethan gave up. When I took one more glance, he was then out of sight. I sighed in relief, then walked to my destination. Olivia took her attention off her phone and looked over at me. "Hello my beloved sister" she greeted. "Stop fucking calling me that" I spat. Olivia just mugged me. I walked over to the umbrella that was next to mom who was sunbathing. "Where have you been?" she asked. I set my stuff on the sand. "Just getting some peace, that was obviously ruined" I mumbled the last part. I sat under the umbrella hoping my paleness wouldn't change. "Why don't you lay out here in the sun, you know, get a ta....." mom then stopped her sentence as I glared at her. "Never mind" she added. I turned my head to where the ocean was. It was really pretty, but not peaceful. There was so much people that were making it pretty irritating. My mom soon snapped me out of my thoughts. "It's going to get late, to you guys want to pack up and get to the rides?" she asked. Olivia walked over to us while putting her phone in her back pocket. "I'd like to go on a few rides" Olivia said. Mom got up from her position. "I'm going to put the things back in the car, you go have some fun, and I'll call you when its time to go" mom stated. I looked over at Olivia, knowing she would respond for the both of us. Olivia then grabbed my arm and dragged me on the sand. "At least let me get up!" I yelled out. I watched as Olivia took a step back as I got on my feet. "Now?" she asked. "Now" I replied. Olivia quickly got a good grip on my arm and pulled me away.

Jessica,

The car ride wasn't so silent. Mia and I were talking the whole time, and by the looks of it, our moms were annoyed. "We're almost home" my aunt announced. I could see that we were down the street from Mia's house. When we were in front of her house, the lights were on. "That's odd, I thought dad would be asleep at this time" Mia stated. I nodded in agreement. Nobody said anything which made it really awkward. My aunt parked the car in the garage. I could hear people running inside the house. "Am I the only one who hears footsteps running inside the house?" Mia asked. I looked over at her. "I can hear it too" I added. We soon got out of the car. Everything in the house was silent. I walked over to the door as my aunt closed the garage doors. "Wait, its locked" my mom said. I slowly stepped out of the way, making sure my mom wouldn't push me to the ground. She stood in front of the door like if she was a guard. My aunt finally walked over to the door. She took the keys out of her bag and began to unlock it. "There's something going on.......I don't think I like it" Mia whispered to me. I just nodded my head for a reply. My aunt swung the door open to see the whole house was dark. "The fuck" I mumbled to myself. I the felt someone hit my arm. "Language..." my mom reminded me. I rolled my eyes while walking inside. As soon as the door shut behind us, the lights went on and I noticed our whole family jumped up yelling out 'Welcome home'. I felt my eyes go wide, I mean our whole family was here, even Mia's and I's uncle from Colorado came. "Oh my god!" Mia yelled out as she clutched her chest from fright. I felt happiness wash over me. I felt like I was home again like the old days.

Mia,

I started to feel butterflies in my stomach. I was so surprised and happy at the same time that I couldn't even define it. Everyone walked over to Jessica and I. I gave everyone my biggest smile as they all greeted me with hugs and kisses. Finally they let me take a breather. Everyone was now spending time with each other, having a few conversations. I was then cut out of my thoughts from someone tapping my shoulder. I looked to my left to see my Uncle Sergio. "Oh my god, you actually came" I said in shock. He flashed me a smile. "Well, why not, I wanted to see my two favorite nieces" he responded while taking me into a bear hug. A few seconds after, he let me go. "So, hows Colorado?" I asked, getting a little curious. "Cold as always, but for Tristan.....he loves to play in the snow when school is canceled" my uncle explained. I laughed at his reply. "Tristan is some lucky kid" I stated. Uncle Sergio just nodded. "Where's Dena?" I asked. He turned around, trying to find his wife. "She's probably just talking to someone" he said while still searching for his wife. "I'll find her later" I assured. My uncle put his full attention back on me. "Hows the academy, is it strict?" he asked, obviously trying to make conversation. "It's good, and strict....there were also a few ups and downs, but I got over it" I said. My uncle gave me a confused face "May I ask, what kinds of ups and downs?". I then started to hesitate a little. I couldn't tell him about the Professor Dylan incident, I mean if I do he'll freak out and tell the whole family. He also has a big mouth, which means he can't keep a secret for less than a minute. I started to play with the ends of my hair. "Oh you know, friend troubles....." I softly said, hoping he would buy it. My uncle then gave me a bummed look. "Well that's bad, it's ok though, I hope all those troubles will clear up" he assured me. I just have him a fake smile as he walked away. When he was out of sight, I then decided to let out a long relieved sigh. I felt wrong about lying to him, but then again he needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut.

Sapphire,

Olivia and I had already gone on all the rides, and it was already dark. Mom hadn't called yet, which was making me very worried. "What do you want to do now?" Olivia asked while pinching out a piece of her cotton candy. I shrugged my shoulders. "Mom should be calling us by now" I stated. Olivia then stopped me in my tracks while turning me around. "The fuck is wrong with you?" I spat. Olivia rolled her eyes and began to walk slowly. "A cute guy is coming our way..." she warned. I just paid no attention to her, but proceeded our walk. "Hey Sapphire" I heard a guy say. I then recognized his voice. "Fuck" I quietly muttered. I saw on the corner of my eye that Olivia turned to him. "Who are you?" she asked. I just kept my back to Ethan. "I'm a friend of Olivia's, who are you?" he asked in the same attitude Olivia gave him. "I'm her sister" she stated. I could tell Ethan was getting irritated by Olivia's attitude. "Well, tell your sister to call me sometime" he said. I heard him hive Olivia a piece of paper, and she gladly snatched it away. After a minute Olivia decided to break the silence. "He's gone" she simply said. I then grabbed the paper out of her hands. "Fucking bullshit" I muttered. Olivia's phone started to vibrate in her pocket. I ignored her actions and looked at the number. "That was mom, she said we need to leave" Olivia stated. I just folded the paper up and put it in my pocket. "So.....do you plan on calling him?" she asked in interest. I shook my head. "Not even if you put a gun to my head" I mumbled. Olivia just nodded her head as we walked off to the car's direction.
