I woke up peacefully, with no noise at all. The only thing you could hear were the birds chirping their asses off. I looked around the room realizing I was home. It was a bitter sweet moment for me because I really miss it here and don't want to leave, but at the same time I really want to go back to the academy to see all my friends. I sat up on my bed. I had the song 'Best Day of My Life' by American Authors stuck in my head. The sun shinned through the light pink curtains. I rubbed my eyes while pushing the blankets off of me. I stretched my arms out as I made a little baby dinosaur noise. I then jumped on my feet. The ground was really cold. I don't know why I didn't put carpet into this room. I looked over at my closet that was also a huge mirror. I had my grey pajama shorts on with a aqua tank top. My hair was all over the place. I literally looked like the grudge. I walked over to my white dresser. I looked in the huge mirror that was above it. I then pulled my brush out of one of the drawers and began to glide it into my hair. There were a few knots which hurt like hell, but I held my breath and lived with it. When I was finished, I looked back into the mirror. My hair was now straight and neat. I then set the brush down. All of a sudden someone closed a door shut. "Shit" I muttered to myself, knowing that it was my dad who beet me to the bathroom. I hated going in to the bathroom after he used it. I swear it doesn't smell so good at all. I walked out of my room and headed to the kitchen where I found my mom starting to make breakfast. "Good morning honey" she said without even looking at me. It scared me that she knew I was there without taking a glance at me, but at the same time, I'm already used to it. I then realized that I haven't texted Mason since yesterday. I was worried that he might be in trouble or hurt. He might be in prison if the cops showed up. As much as I wanted to run over to my room and text Mason, I still tried to control my actions. I then shook those thoughts out of my head hoping things would be ok when we get back to the academy.
I felt someone run there hand down my chest. I quickly opened my eyes to see I was in some strange room. I then took a quick glance to my left to see Elizabeth. It looked like she didn't have a shirt on, neither a bra. I looked under the blanket to see she was fully naked. I felt guilt quickly wash over me when I noticed I was also naked. "Fuck" I muttered to myself. "How did you sleep?" Elizabeth asked. I jumped at the sound of her voice. "What the hell happened last night?" I asked with a curious tone. Elizabeth gave me an evil smirk that instantly made me realize of what had happened. "We didn't" I mumbled. She made an evil laugh while nodding her head. "Oh we did" she simply said like if it was all fine. I jumped out of bed and began to put my clothes back on. "So, you should call me some time" she suggested while checking me out. As soon as my head popped out of the shirt, I looked over at her and shook my head. I could tell she was getting turned on because she was biting her lip really hard. "I have a girlfriend" I added while slipping my arms into the holes of my shirt. "Like if that's going to stop me" Elizabeth mumbled. She kept her eyes on me the whole time. I snatched my phone that was on the floor and paced out of the room. I suddenly stopped in my tracks at the sight of the house. There were red cups everywhere. I thought it couldn't get any worse until I got to the bottom of the stairs. There were hungover people lying down everywhere. I don't know how Elizabeth is going to clean the house, but that's what she gets for throwing a party. I rub my temples to try to control the pain that was going through my head. I was a little hung over, but I managed to get over it. I looked through the kitchen, then to the halls, until I found a hung over Natalie that was in deep sleep on the ground. "Wake up" I cooed while kicking the side of her stomach. Natalie let out an annoyed groan. "I said wake up" I raised my voice a little. Natalie's eyes fluttered open. They were directly set on me. "My head hurts" she wined like a five year old. I stuck my hand out to help her up, but she denied. I watched as she tried to get on her feet. She literally looked like Bambie when he was barley born and tried to stand up. "Need help there?" I asked. Natalie took her heels off while shaking her head. "No, lets get out of here" she mumbled. I nodded in agreement as we walked out of the messed up house.
I couldn't sleep well. I would fall asleep for a few minutes and then randomly wake up. I literally couldn't get Ethan out of my head. I was really confused, I mean I don't like him at all, I barley even know the guy, but then again he really has a good personality. I then snapped myself out of my thoughts. I slapped myself into reality. He would never love a girl like me. We aren't compatible, I'm an emo who likes guys with flippy hair and tattoos. Ethan on the other hand is obviously a popular guy who's into cheerleaders or preppy popular girls who only care about their looks. I ignored my thoughts and rolled out of bed. I literally rolled out of bed. I was then met face to face by the floor. I pulled myself up. I walked sluggishly down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Well, well, well, I guess someone decided to finally get out of bed" mom teased. I dragged myself to the kitchen table, not even caring if I looked like a zombie. Mom put her attention back on the stove, ignoring Olivia and I. "So, are you going to call him?" Olivia whispered to me. I looked up at her. Her hair was curled and ready to go for the day that was ahead of us. "Why the fuck do you care?" I asked getting irritated. "Just in case if you not interested, maybe I could call him, and get to know him better" she replied with an interested voice. I just rolled my eyes at her desperateness. "I might call him, just maybe" I stated. Olivia gave me a surprised face. "So your taking it under consideration?" she asked, obviously getting really nosy. I nodded my head. Olivia let out a loud squeal which made mom turn towards us. She gave Olivia a confused face. "Sorry, I just remembered that we were going back to the academy today" Olivia apologized/lied. Mom just looked back to the sizzling bacon, that was on a pan. "Nice save" I sarcastically mumbled. Olivia just mugged me.
My eyes fluttered open to see my little cousin Tristan watching me sleep. "Hey there" I awkwardly greeted. "Hi" he responded. I looked at him confused. His face was literally in front of mine. "So.......are you going to let me get out of bed or are we going to stay like this all day?" I asked. Tristan kept his green eyes on my brown ones. "Sure, I can stay like this" he simply stated. I rolled my eyes and looked back at him. "Tristan, leave Jessica alone" my Aunt Dena warned. I looked directly into Tristan's eyes. "Ya leave me alone" I rephrased. Tristan groaned in frustration. "Remember we're going to stop by Mia's house, so you can bug her all you want" my Aunt Dena reminded. She then walked away from my door. "Fine" Tristan sighed out. I put my hand on his face and pushed him away from me. I got out of my bed. It felt good to be back. Tristan ran out of my room knowing I was going to do something that would hurt him. The first thing I did was walk straight to the bathroom. After I did my business, I washed my hands and looked into the mirror. I brushed my teeth and hair. I paced over to my room to get ready.
I was now ready to go. I looked into my mirror once more before grabbing my backpack. I examined my room from the entrance before closing the door behind me. I walked down the hall and to the stairs. "Ready Mia?" my mom asked. I nodded my head while walking down the last step. Jessica was already here, but only because my Uncle Sergio and Aunt Dena want to say their goodbyes. I was actually surprised that Tristan hasn't irritated me yet. He was just sat on the couch with Jessica, who was texting. I watched as my mom got the keys to the car. "We're leaving" she announced. My uncle and aunt both stood up. They took turns on giving me hugs. "You better be good" my Uncle Sergio warned. I nodded my head. "Trust me, that's the least of your worries" I said loudly hoping Jessica would hear. "Try to stay out of drama" my Aunt Dena added. I then felt Jessica's presence behind me. "Trust me, that's the least of your worries" she mimicked. I ignored her and gave them big hugs. I then walked over to Tristan. He looked bored. "Well" I said, obviously trying to make conversation. "Have fun" he simply said. I them pulled him into a hug. "Have a nice flight" I responded. When we let go I just gave him a reassuring smile before walking to the entrance of the house. My dad walked over to the door while taking the keys out of my moms hands. "I'll drive this time" he stated. Everyone walked out of the house. My mom, dad, and I were going in our car as Jessica, Tristan, my aunts, and uncles were going in a separate car. We then drove out of the driveway. I watched the house get smaller and smaller until it was out of sight.
Natalie wasn't well enough to drive so I had to take the drivers seat. Even though I only have my learners permit, I can still drive. Natalie is 19 and she has her drivers license. I then parked into the car, but didn't even bother on turning the car off. "I'm going to get my bag, stay here" I instructed. Natalie nodded her head while rubbing her temples from the massive head ache she was having. I walked into the house and paced up the stairs. I swung the door open to see everything was clean. Martha must have cleaned it while I was gone. I grabbed my backpack that was neatly set on my bed. I then took one more look at my room before walking out. I actually felt like shit right now. I had guilt written over my face. I really don't know how I was going to tell Mia. I bet she would leave me in a second, but then again I don't need to tell her. I shook my head at that thought. Mia's my girlfriend. I can't just lie to her. We are always honest to each other. I really don't have the guts to tell her though. When I was about to walk to the garage, I heard a noise in the kitchen. I slowly walked over to the kitchen entrance. I opened the door to see Natalie taking a pill. "Really, I tell you to stay in the car, but you don't listen" I said. Natalie rolled her eyes at me. "Shut the fuck up, my head is hurting and I'm not in the mood" she spat. She then grabbed two family sized bags of chips from the pantry. I watched as she walked over to the refrigerator and pulled out three gallons of Dr Peppers. "Really?" I asked. Natalie gave me the gallons to carry. "There's going to be traffic in the freeway, so it's going to be a long ride" she explained. I just turned on my heal and walked to the car.
