“Zayn…no. Don’t, please!” I begged; he had to understand that I didn’t want him to.
“We’ll see what happens…” He smiled, mischievously and our food came right as he got done saying it.
We ate our breakfasts in peace. Luckily, there were no fans nearby. We decided we would spend the day in town, going shopping.
Louis, Liam, Hannah, and Zayn smiled evilly at Niall and me.
“Groups have been set up.” Louis stated, simply.
“What do you mean?” Niall asked, Louis.
“I mean we set up groups. We’re walking around with 2 or 3 people each. I have Hannah and Harry. Zayn and Liam are walking together then you and Addie are walking by yourselves.”
I gave the evil eye to Zayn who smirked at me.
Harry protested, “I don’t know about this…maybe Addie and I should walk together. She is still new round here and Niall doesn’t really know his way round…”
Hannah elbowed him hard in the ribs. “Ma-maybe it will be fine…” He choked out and Hannah looked satisfied.
Niall and I turned to face each other, “Alright.” We said in unison.
We split the bill and broke into our groups saying we’d meet back there for tea at 4.
Niall and I walked downtown. He threw on a pair of dark sunglasses as we walked deeper into the pit of crowds.
“So, where would you like to go first?” Niall asked, slinging his arm around my waist.
I looked down at his hand and blushed a bit, “Um, well I’m not entirely sure…”
“How about we just look into…” He looked around for a nice store, “that one!” He pointed at a nicely decorated boutique that sold men and women clothes.
We walked into the store and I went right over to the heels. Each pair was better than the last! I set my eyes on a pair of thick strapped, golden heels that sparkled in light. I looked for my size and they had it right there.
I tried on the shoes and strutted round in them. They were too perfect. I decided on buying them when Niall caught up with me.
I pointed to his basket full of clothes, “Find anything you like?”
He laughed, “A lot, actually. How about you?”
I held my heels up to show him, “Just these bad boys!”
He snatched them out of my hand and ran up to the ringer before I realized what he was doing.
He already had the money out for them while the cashier rung up the rest of Niall’s clothes.
I pouted at him and he snickered, “Poor baby! Someone wants to buy you something and you complain? Not like normal girls, love.”
He handed me my bag after we walked out of the store. “Thank you so much!” I gave him a hug and he brought me closer. Was it possible to say that a hug was perfect? If so, then this was the most perfect hug I’d ever experienced.
When did I become so cliché? Ugh. I was sickening myself. Blushing, smiling, and melting at the sight of Niall? When did I get so soft?
We strolled around the town. A couple of teenage girls recognized Niall and I. They took a photo with both of us and asked for both of our autographs. They even knew my name! They had to be big fans!
After the girls walked away, giggling, I found myself giggling too.
“Your first fan experience? I forgot! We must document this moment.” He teased and took a photo of me laughing. I watched him click a few buttons and shove his phone back into his jean pocket.
My phone vibrated, I looked suspiciously at Niall. One new picture. I clicked the touch screen to open the photo. It was me with my hair strewn about because of the wind, laughing erratically because of my first fan encounter. Niall had a little caption at the bottom, Addie's first fan encounter , how adorable is she ?
I shoved my phone into my pocket and caught up with Niall who had been walking the entire time.
“You like the picture?” He stopped to face me.
“I absolutely love it.”
He bit his lip, nervously. Our faces were literally an inch apart. Niall backed up, ruining our perfect moment. “Glad you liked it.”
I moved back, sighing. “Yeah.” I looked at Niall’s watch. It was half past 3 and we had to walk 20 minutes to get to the diner. “We better head back to the diner if we want to have tea with the boys.”
He nodded his head in agreement, “Don’t tell Zayn I messed up. He’s already holding a lot above my head.”
I smirked, “You’re not good with showing feelings, are you?”
He chuckled, “Not very good at all.” Niall grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers as we strode down the streets of London to find this little diner.
Although, I really didn’t pay much attention to London after Niall was holding my hand. It was rather warm and firm. My hand seemed to fit his nicely; mine was small and delicate next to his.
I diverted my eyes from our hands to Niall’s face which seemed content. I guess Zayn was right, Niall did fancy me.
We were about a block away from the diner when Niall stopped dead in his tracks.
I stopped next to him, “What’s wrong?”
He let go of my hand, “Erm…Harry would kill me if he saw me…holding your hand.”
I tried not to laugh at how worried he was but failed miserably. “Aw Niall is scared of that little boy? He’s just a smidge over-protective, that’s all.” I assured Niall, he didn’t seem as convinced.
Zayn and Liam saw us walk in first.
“Liam, look who it is!” Zayn laughed loudly.
“Why, it’s the lovebirds!” Liam and Zayn howled in laughter.
Harry, Louis, and Hannah weren’t there yet so we slid into the booth with the two other boys.
“How was your day, lovebirds?” Liam asked, kindly.
We looked at each other, then at both of them. “Interesting.” We said in unison. Niall grabbed my hand under the table and squeezed it tightly.
