Try Not To Fall For Any Of The Boys. Alright?

"There is one rule, baby sister."

"And what would that be, big brother?"

"Try not to fall for any of the boys. Alright?"

21. Chapter 12: Part 1

So I went to bed early that night. Niall hadn’t called and I wasn’t going to bother him. I set my phone beside my bed and fell asleep listening to my favourite artist, Ellie Goulding.

My alarm clock alerted my ears with a high pitched sounds that annoyed the hell out of me. I slammed my hand on the off switch to silence it. I groaned and ran a hand through my still wet hair. All of these curls can get on my nerves sometimes. But they did look nice on me.

I didn’t wake Harry on the way to the washroom. Zayn was already down there fixing his hair: his pride and joy.

He was really a morning person. “Good morning to the lovely Addie Styles.” He said whilst ruffling my hair.

“Don’t talk to me until I’ve had my tea.” I garbled, whiping my eyes of sleep.

He chuckled, “Neither of the Styles kids are morning people.”

“We get it honestly. Our father wasn't. Woudn't come eat breakfast until 10 in the morning.”

He ran his hair through his hair with gel and made sure every piece was where it was supposed to be.

I reshaped some of the curls that had fallen out while I slept. My hair was more tamed than usual. It looked quite nice. Zayn even complimented it.

Zayn and I ate a quiet breakfast and drank our tea before waking the other lads up.

I was in charge of King Harry, the duke of attitude. I shook him, “Hazza, time to get up.”

He flipped me off and ducked under his sheets. “Leave me alone, Addie."

“What, Caroline didn’t sing you to sleep last night? Why are you so moody?”

He growled, “Stop making obscene statements about the relationship between Caroline and I.”

I laughed, “Oh, you know you like her. Even if she is double your age, almost.”

He resurfaced from under his blankets and leaped on me and tackled me to the floor. “I win.”

“Ew, your breath reeks.” I coughed and pushed him off of me.

I looked at the clock, it was already 8 am. We had to leave in 20 minutes. I ran over to my mahogany dresser and ripped out a nice grey summery crop top that said ‘Bahamas’ written in black sequence on it. It was from when I went on a trip to the Bahamas with Mum and Harry 2 years ago. I slid into a black pair of skinny pants (not jeans) that were trimmed with black sequence like my shirt. I accompanied the outfit with a killer pair of grey wedges. They were very high and I really liked them.

After applying some foundation, mascara, and eyeliner (not too much) I practically had to run out the door to meet with the boys.

They all looked so put together, I never could figure out how they did it in so little time.

“Ew! Addie! We can see your midriff.” Louis gagged and Liam laughed.

“How inappropriate, Adelaide Anne Styles.” Zayn shot at me.

I laughed, “I don’t even remember telling you my middle name!”

“Is that really your middle name? I just guessed.” Zayn said as we adjusted ourselves in the car.

I was very nervous. I shouldn’t have eaten anything because I wasn’t sure if I could hold it down. I made small talk with Liam about Universities I might attend after break is over.

Okay, the thought of attending a college scared me too. Now I was thinking about the future AND singing in front of people who could make a future for me.

We pulled up to Sony studios with 10 minutes to spare. Harry and Liam went to go grab a bite to eat before we went in.

Louis, Zayn, and I went in anyways.

Zayn rubbed my back, soothingly. “It’s okay, Addie. Calm down. You’re going to be fine. Don’t even worry about it.”

I sighed and mumbled, “Not really…”

Louis opened the door for me and Zayn and I walked in. The studio was lavish. Black leather chairs and nice hardwood floors. Two people stood over by the window to the recording space, I’m guessing the manager and the sound technician.

“Is this Addie? The one you called me about, Louis?” The manager lady asked.

He nodded, “The very one.”

I blushed and looked at the floor. Now I seemed unconfident. I held my head higher and smiled at her. She made eye contact and returned the smile and gave me a firm handshake, “Nice to meet you, Addie. If you’re anything like Harry I might not be able to take it much longer.”

I chuckled, “Not much like Harry. He’s quite a handful.”
