I slipped under the covers...wondering what's going to happen next.
As a little kid,I'm sure we are all taught to not answer to door for anyone. I heard a knock on the door. I was tempted.
Me a little girl with no family.
For someone who could understand.
I heard the knock on more time and I creeped out from under the blankets. I hopped to the window, just barley tall enough to see over.
"Who's there" I yelled
"Hi honey, I'm from down the street. My name is Anne. My little boy told me that he saw someone in here and I just wanted to say hi"
" no ones home"
"Darling please open the door"
"Hi" I heard a screech. "I'm Harry. We can be friends"
I felt a connection between us. One I have never felt. I knew that I have meant him before.
I ran down the stairs, panting as I got to the door. I stood there wondering if this was the right thing to do.
I opens the door. There stood Harry and his mum.
"Harry" I yelled screaming.
"Mum she was from daycare"
"Oh really. Were are your parents honey, you guys can talk while I talk to Her parents"
"I don't have parents" I said looking down.
"darling you must, you can't be living here alone"
"Mam I have lived here along for as long as I can remember, I have no parents"
Harry tugged on his mums sleeve, which must have been his signal to lean over so he could tell her something
