7. Not your typical day
Rollercoasters, Sideshow games, Bumper cars. You name it, Luna Park has it. Now I know why people say it's amazing. But, however I wouldn't know whether or not the rides and games themselves are amazing. I haven't actually experienced any. Dad can't make up his mind what he wants too do first.
"How 'bout the pirate ship?" Nemo suggested, "I don't know" Dad shrugged. "Does it really matter Dad? Just pick a ride." Cody sighed. "And be done with it" Selena added impatiently. Dad rolled his eyes, "Fine that one" He said pointing too a massive roller coaster. "The wild mouse" Cody read as we lined up. "Thankyou Cody we can read" I smiled sarcastically, She ignored me but I could tell by the look on her face that she had no comeback. "Deep fried much" Nemo giggled, She slapped him lightly and he pretended too be in excruciating pain. "Ahh ooh oww. My arm. It hurts. Make it stop. Ouch. Please. Make it stop." He groaned. "Put a sock in it you sook" Selena snapped while lightly smacking him on the back of his neck. "Told" I muttered, Dad pounded my fists and laughed. "Hell yeah" He whispered. "Shut it you two" She warned.
*2 hours later*
So Dad finally made up his mind which ride he wanted too go on. But of course Nemo insisted on choosing the next one, and just like Dad, couldn't make up his bloody mind. He eventually chose one though. And of course it was the bumper cars, he's like obsessed with them or something. Pretty much my whole family is apart from Selena and I. We can't even drive the damn things. So I ended up being a passenger in Dad's while Selena who complained constantly was a part of Nemo's high speed chase (As he called it).
But now we're having lunch at Lighthouse Café. Not that we're really focusing on how good the food is. Well I'm not. My attention is on Dad who's attention is glued too his backpack. Even Nemo keeps glancing inside the bag. Nobody else has seemed too really notice, but me. I'm very alert too these things. Obviously.
I think Cody may have noticed that Her Father and I are acting a little strange. But I swear it's not like we're doing anything evil. Well from the girl's' point of view we are. But from our point of view. It's completely natural. Maybe Cody's guessed what we're hiding. Although it's obvious. We're hiding the Canon Rebel. It goes on every family outing. And for good reason. It's called making memories. Who knows when we may want photos of the family. Maybe their 21st birthday's. Or...I hate too put the thought out there...But one of their funerals. Yes I know too depressing. But it's true. We'd have too find photos wouldn't we? Anyway that's what we're hiding and soon enough it's presence will be known. It may not be wanted but it will be known.
