283. Of course I did!
“What the hell happened?” My mom asked.
“I got into a fight at school, but I didn’t start it, I swear” I said.
“We’re going to talk about this later. Someone is here for you” My mom said before leaving the room.
As soon as she left, Elizabeth came through the door.
“Hey!” Elizabeth said fake smiling.
“Hey! What are you doing here?” I asked.
“I just came to see if you were okay.”
“I’m good” I said.
“Thank you, for sticking up for me and saying all those nice things about me.”
“No problem” I smiled.
“Did you really mean all that you said about me?” Elizabeth asked faintly.
“Of course I did. You’re pretty special. You are anything but ordinary. You are more important than you realize; just saying.”
“I love that I don’t have to act socially acceptable around you.”
“Yeah…” I trailed off.
Elizabeth came and sat on the bed next to me.
“I’m sorry about all of this” Elizabeth said.
“It’s ok, really. I can’t promise to solve all your problems, but I’ll promise you won’t have to face them alone.” I smiled.
