1. Fallen Angel
Her beauty is out of place in this world filled with death,
Her plush white feathers too gentle for the turmoil;
She is a light on the horizon of hell.
Her face, angelic, beams out with hope and optimism,
Soon to be crushed by the harsh, heavy hand of society.
She has fallen, as if thrown from heaven,
But her face leaks with innocence,
As if her casting was accidental.
She does not belong in a world,
Where purity and chastity are sins,
And where personality reaps revenge
And individuality means rejection.
She deserves a world as light as her soft wings,
As beautiful as her face,
And as innocent as her being.
A world which does not exist
In the harsh light of reality.
