"I'll get the caramel frappé." I smiled to the man at the counter.
I walked around the small café and found a free table with four seats. I sat down, waiting for Malena, Niall and Liam. I watched as Niall looked around, confused about where I was. I waved him over and he smiled, bringing Liam and Malena over.
Malena sat across from me and Niall next to me. He grabbed my hand from under the table and linked it with his. I smiled and he gave my lips a quick peck.
"So, how did you two meet?" I asked.
"Well," Liam started, "You know how at prom I was upset with how I was the only lad in the group who was single? Well I went to the bleachers at the prom to find a girl to dance with, when I found... Malena." He smiled, wrapping her in his arms.
"Aw." I sang, smiling at their adorable new love.
Niall wrapped his arm around me and smiled.
"I remember when we used to be like that." said Niall.
"What do you mean? Are we not like that anymore?" I asked, looking over to Liam and Malena, who were now giving each other eskimo kisses.
"Well, I still love you and you still love me, but we don't act like that anymore. We don't have to. We've been through a lot with each other. We don't have to fabricate it." Niall stated.
I smiled, satisfied with his answer and I put my head on his chest.
"Are you awake?" An unfamiliar voice asked.
I popped my head up, rubbing my eyes and taking in my surroundings, which were unknown to me. Where was I? And who was sitting at the foot of the... couch? My eyes finally adjusted to the light and I realised it was Malena.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"We're at my apartment. You fell asleep at Starbucks on Niall's chest and the boys had to go to a meeting. Chelsea and Shay are here too, in the kitchen."
I nodded and lied back down. I was still tired although it felt like I had slept for hours.
"You're finally awake!" Shay smiled.
"Yeah. I wonder why I fell asleep. I had about eleven hours sleep last night." I said, rubbing my head.
"Maybe you're sick?" Chelsea suggested.
"Maybe." I mumbled.
Malena walked out of what looked like her lounge room into another room and came back in with a thermometer.
I stuck it in my mouth for a good ten minutes. When I pulled it out, I discovered my temperature was 104 degrees fahrenheit.
"I'll call Niall." Shay said.
I opened my mouth to protest. I didn't want to worry him, especially since he was in a meeting. The meeting was probably important too, seeing as the boys were going on tour soon.
"Hi Niall." Shay spoke into the phone before I could stop her.
"Samantha's sick. No, not yet but probably soon. Okay, good. See you soon." Shay said.
She hung up an put her phone back in her pocket, taking a deep breath in.
"He's on his way. The boys were already done with the interview anyway, so you didn't disturb him or anything. He's going to take you back to his or home, he doesn't mind." Shay finished.
In only minutes, the boys arrived at the door.
I couldn't see them walking in from my laying position on Malena's couch, but I could hear the boys giving their girlfriends kisses and hugs.
"Where's Samantha?" I heard Niall ask. I smiled to myself.
"She's laying on my couch. She's gotten a bit worse. A lot of colour has left her face and her temperature has definitely risen." Malena answered.
I heard Niall sigh and get closer, every step of his foot becoming louder. His frame was suddenly in the doorway, looking at me. The lighting wasn't very good in Malena's lounge room, seeing as the light wasn't turned on. I couldn't make out Niall's expression. He inched closer and sat on the couch next to me, grabbing and holding my hand.
"Aw Baby. This isn't good. This isn't good at all." He whispered, examining my face, which had apparently 'lost it's colour.'
He left millions of small kisses on my hand, obviously not wanting to kiss my mouth.
"I'm going to take you home." He whispered into my hand.
"What if I don't want to go home?" I barely managed to speak.
"You have to go home. Your Mum will be worried about you. I will come with you, if your Mum let's me. I'll take care of you. But you need to go home. I don't want you to end up like me."
I sighed, "You promise you'll stay?"
"Of course. Every second of the way. Unless you want me to get you something."
