"I don't regret the kiss."
He stood there silent with no expression on his face. He didn't show if he was happy, nor did he show if he was sad. I was clueless at this point. This blabber mouth usually doesn't shut up, but now I've shut him up for good.
Within a minute, I was in Niall's arms being squeezed to death. I bring my arms out patting his back not daring to give him a hug. Not because I hated him or anything, it's because I was still confused.
"Niall, could I ask you something?" I push him away looking up at his face. He nods in response.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"You said you'd never date anyone, you also said that you'd never date one of us, and I was kind of scared of what you could of done to me if I had told you before."
"Well, I'm 'dating' Harry, so that's all I got." I shrug.
"Well, you're just in a fake relationship."
"Well, per say I were to breakup with Harry and just out of nowhere get with you, it would make me look like a player. And I never want to be like Flynn. Always getting with someone new."
"So you would actually get with me?" I small smile appears on his face.
"I said per say, meaning if I were to do it, which I can't and won't. Plus, there's millions of girls out there that like you and are different too."
"Well, what if I just want you?" He says shyly.
"Niall, I'm not going to-" the door flies open revealing Harry behind it.
"There you are Andy!" Harry walks towards me planting a kiss on my cheek hugging me. Niall and I exchange looks. What the? He releases me putting his arm around my waist.
"Uh, you okay Harry?" I turn to him.
"Yeah, I'm alright. I just planned us a date to go on. Let's get going." He tugs at me.
"Now? Why so early?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Hush Andy, it's for publicity remember?" He grins.
"Uh..." I turn back to Niall as Harry pulls me along. "Okay." I murmur.
"We can go get Starbucks." He says. I look up at him as he turns back glaring at Niall in the room. What's up with the look?
I wave to the others as I'm being pulled out of the hotel room down the hall. We ride down the elevator to the lobby to see paparazzi and fans waiting outside for us as usual. Security covers us as we get in the van driving down to Starbucks just a few blocks away. I hop out linking arms with Harry once again being pulled into Starbucks.
"So you want the usual?" He asks smiling.
"Uh, I don't want anything."
"You sure? What about a frappe?"
"No, I'm fine Harry." I assure him.
"Then let's go get you something, like that jacket you spotted when we drove around the other day."
"I don't want that either." I sigh.
"Andy, what's wrong?" He lifts my chin up making eye contact with me. I pull away looking down.
"I just want to go back to the hotel." I mutter.
"Do you mind staying here for a bit? Paparazzi is blocking the entrance." I look up to see the door surrounded by paparazzi snapping photos of us.
"I don't care." I push myself away from him running out to see it had started raining. I push my way through the crowd.
"What's going on Andy?"
"Did you two break up?"
"Why is Harry just standing there?"
Because I don't like him! This is all fake! I never liked him that way! I thought to myself. I had the urge to just say it, but Simon would be furious.
"I'm just home sick." I mutter facing one of the men with a camera. It became silent. I turn back around continuing to walk out of the crowd leaving them in silence.
"Andy wait!" Harry called to me. I ignored him still walking away down across the street. I feel hands grab my arm stopping me.
"Please just leave me alone." I turn to face him.
"What's wrong? Tell me please." He grabs me by the shoulder making sure that I wouldn't go anywhere.
"Nothing is wrong! I just want to go to the hotel, can I not?!"
"Yes you can."
"Then let me go!" I struggle to get out of his grip.
"But before you go, I need to tell you something." I stop squirming waiting for him to speak.
"Look, I heard you and Niall talking, and the thing is...I like you too." I stare at him not moving out from his grip. Okay, I could believe this for some reason.
"What?" He waves his hand in front of me.
"I'm deciding whether if I should be angry, slap you across the face right now, or both." He quickly releases me backing away.
"Why? What did I do?"
"What did you do? What did you do?! You....I don't even know what to say right now! I'm...I'm...angry! Furious!" I push him back as he tumbles to the floor. I look down on him crossing my arms.
"Why are you mad at me and not at Niall?" I could tell that he was trying to keep it calm, but as for me, I couldn't even if I tried.
"I don't know! I'm just confused right now!" I run my fingers through my hair in frustration.
"Confused because of what?" He asks calmly.
"Mixed emotions Harry! That's why! I'm not even sure what to feel at the moment with you!" I ball my hands up into fists bringing them down to my sides.
"Well if you have mixed emotions, then you must have love in there somewhere for me."
"Honestly, I don't have any feelings for you, Harry. I don't have mixed emotions because of you." I admit.
"Then they're for Niall?"
I think for a while. Was it because of Niall? No, it couldn't have been. I can't have feelings for anyone. It's just wrong for me to have feelings for someone that felt like a brother to me.
"I feel nauseaous." I hold my head as my eyes cross-sided. My legs start to give up on me. I fall back being caught in Harry's arm. I open my eyes looking up at the sky.
"Andy, we need to get you back!" He throws me over his shoulder running off down the sidewalk back to the hotel. Paparazzi follow behind us as they see us walk by.
"Andy, smile big!" One of the men shout. I look up frowning, but then giving him a weak smile.
"Move out of the way!" Security quickly appear pushing the crowd back. Harry runs inside running up to the elevator waiting for the lift to arrive. We go in being taken to our level within seconds.
"How you doing back there Andy?" Harry asks.
"Uh, better?" I say not fully confident in my answer. Harry settles me down on the couch looking down at me. I look up at him as we stayed in silence.
"Woah! You two are drenched!" Louis walks in with a bowl of popcorn in his hands.
"Yeah, like we didn't notice Louis." I roll my eyes. He sticks his tongue out at me, crossing his arms.
"Are you alright? Your eyes went a bit cross-sided." He sits on the arm rest looking down at me.
"I don't feel good." I groan holding my stomach.
"Do you need anything Andy? A glass of water? Something to eat?" Harry went on and on offering me things to have.
"I don't need anything Harry. I'm fine." I shake my head.
"Are you sure? I could just..." Anger builds in me as I start to lose my temper.
"I don't need anything for Pete's sake! I'm tired of this fake relationship I have with you! I don't need anything from you! And I especially don't need your love and jealously!" I yell, breathing heavily. Louis looks at me in surprise as I yelled at Harry.
I couldn't take it anymore. Harry crossed the line with our friendship. I never wanted to be more than just friends, and if I did, I'd want him to be a brother to me. I couldn't take the awkwardness between us and after he admitted his love for me.
"Just get out of here Styles!" I glared at him. He stared back at me not moving.
"Fine, I'm out!" I shout, barging to my room. I throw my suitcase on the bed throwing my things from the drawers inside. I quickly shower and change into fresh clothes. I close my luggage rolling it out of my room to the living room past Louis and Harry.
"Where are you going?" Harry stops me.
"You're not my dad, nor my boyfriend! Why should you care about my safety?" I spit at him.
"Because I care for you, Andy."
"Stop caring for me! I had a life before I met you all." I push him back walking out to the hall.
"Andy, you can't leave!" Louis runs out to me.
"Why shouldn't I?" I stare back at him waiting.
"I feel like I've known you forever. To be honest, you're like a fifth sister to me that's fun to be around."
"That's what I thought of you guys, but now I'm not even sure." I shrug my shoulders backing away.
"Andy, please." Louis begs.
"Louis, I'm tired of this lie I'm living. And it looks like I'm trying to get fame from you guys, which I'm not at all!"
"Well be honest with them."
"I am. I'm tired of this. Look, I'm sorry if I cause harm on the whole band and Harry's side of publicity."
"Wait, publicity?" He frowns.
"Yeah, I was being used as a puppet by Simon this whole time. If it wasn't for me winning that contest, you guys wouldn't be more noticed, like now." I hiss at him.
"I don't get it." He squints his eyes thinking.
"Fans wanted to know who I was when I was hanging out with you guys. They were getting curious and when Simon found out about paparazzi trying to figure out who I was, he decided to use me and control me to get you guys fame." Before he could say anything I rush down the hall to the elevator. I ride down to the lobby to see paparazzi waiting outside with fans behind them. This will be great.
"Do you need a ride?" I turn back to see the bodyguard, Albert, sitting on a couch in the lobby. I nod pulling my bag over my shoulder.
"Where you heading to?" He asks, taking my luggage.
"Home." I mutter.
"Couldn't take it?" I nod in response not saying another word.
We walk out to the crowd passing paparazzi getting pictures of me from behind. I hide my face looking down at the ground. There's no point. I shoot my head up looking around.
"Where you heading, babe?" Paparazzi ask me.
"Heading where I belong." I respond.
"And where is that?"
"Home." I answer plainly.
"Why?" I didn't answer.
Should I? I mean, confessing this whole deal with having to date one of the boys by force? Yes, because no one should be used for someone to get publicity. No, because Simon isn't that bad of a guy. He just wants the boys to still be famous. I don't know what to do.
"Why?" They ask again.
"I can't survive this long away from my friends at home." I weakly smile.
"Have a safe trip." One of the men whisper under the shouting. I turn back to see a young man giving me a thumbs up. I nod getting in the car.
"You ready?" Albert looks back at me turning the car on.
"Yup. It was fun while it lasted." I put my hands behind my head leaning back.
"Andy!" I jump in my seat looking around. I gaze out the window to see Niall running out of the lobby towards the car. What the hell is he doing?
"Andy wait!" He reaches the door knocking on the window forcefully. I watch him through the tinted windows, struggling to open the door. I didn't want to do anything. I couldn't even say goodbye to them.
"Want me to unlock the door?" Albert asks. I sigh nodding slowly. Niall opens the door pushing me in further as he got in locking the door behind him.
"What the hell are you doing? You can't just leave us!" He faces me thrusting his hands in the air.
"I actually can Niall." I cross my arms looking away.
"Why are you leaving?"
"Can't take it anymore. The lies that I have to keep. Just...just leave Niall." I hide my face in my hands.
"Let the truth ruin our fame! I don't care Andy! I'd rather lose the fame then someone I care too much about." I suddenly hear a whimper come from the side of me. I turn to see Albert wiping a single tear from his cheek.
"That was beautiful." He smiles. I snort, but turn serious once I make eye contact with Niall. "Uh, I'll wait outside." Albert gets out shutting the door behind him.
"I don't want to ruin your guys fame. I just don't want to be controlled like a puppet." I look away from him.
"Then don't let Simon control you."
"No, I'm just done with everything."
"Andy..." Niall sniffles. I look up to see him hold back tears.
"Get out Niall! I wish I never won that stupid contest so I didn't have to be here! I regret it so much! I don't need you guys in my life! You caused more problems that I don't need right now! Thank you Niall! Tell everyone else I said thanks!" My anger comes out like a waterfall.
"You know what? I wish you never did win that contest! We could of probably met a fan that appreciates our music and that I could of loved more than you!" He yells.
"I'm glad you feel that way about me. Now I know you've moved on. I've gotten over you guys." With all the yelling, I lost my voice. I turn around crossing my arms once again.
"Wait, Andy...I didn't mean-"
"No, the truth came out. You don't have feelings for me anymore and I'm fine with that. I don't need a relationship to make me happy. I just need you guys to not be a part of my life from this point on." I try to speak as my voice gets raspy. I face him, pecking him on the cheek pulling away quickly.
"Bye Niall." I look down at my feet.
"Andy, I-" he cuts himself off looking down. He sighs jumping out of the car.
"You ready?" Albert pokes his head in. I nod. He hops in and we take off to the airport quickly arriving to meet more paparazzi.
I grab my bag while Albert grabs my luggage from the back carrying it. He covers me as we walk through the crowd of paparazzi getting in. He places my luggage down sliding it to me.
"Thanks Albert." I smile weakly.
"No problem Andy. Hope to see you soon?"
"I don't think so, Albert." I shake my head. "Well, it was nice meeting you." I give him a quick hug.
"Have a safe trip, Andy." He waves to me. I wave back walking to the line.
My phone starts to ring in my pocket. I fish it out to see caller ID. Harry. I ignore the call. It rings again, and I quickly ignore it again. A message pops up on the screen with Harry's name on it. I open the message scanning it.
