It was a cold October day. It was just like any ordinary day. The sky was gloomy, snow flakes were beginning to fall from the sky, bright colored little paper stars were scattered around my room, and the ruckus of two idiotic people down the hallway. I get up and walk towards the living room to see my best friends fighting over a game controller. So immature.
"Link, Flynn, stop it with the ruckus!" I shout at them. They fall off the couch and look up at me.
Yes, I live with two idiotic boys in an apartment. You probably would expect me to live with girls, but I just hate the drama they have and all that make up shit they wear, no offense. I'm more of a tomboy. I like video games, adventures that are life risking, skateboarding, and well I pretty much do what a guys does expect you know...standing and peeing. Ew never mind lets get back to these two.
"Flynn took it from me!" Link whined.
"No, you simply handed it to me and I gladly received it." Flynn smiled happily being proud of what he just said.
"Wait a minute, that's MY controller! Where are yours guys?" I snatched the controller from them both.
"Chase never brought mines back," Flynn said pouting.
"Flynn broke mine." Link gave Flynn a glare.
"No I...oh yeah I did." Flynn laughs nervously.
"Yeah, and that was not funny!" Link smacks Flynn on the arm.
"Dude! Quit it!" They go on slapping each other's arms and I had to put a stop to this. I put myself between them and they start to slap me.
"Okay, that's enough! You know what happens when I get mad! You two are warned right now! I was enjoying my sleep time but you nincompoops ruined it!" I slap them both on the shoulder.
"Hey, what's that on your shoulder?" Link grabs the piece of colored paper that was attached to my shirt. Crap.
"That's nothing. I was just bored." I snatch the colored paper star from his hand.
"Okay? Can we at least use your controller?" I turn back to see Link have a puppy dog face. Ugh. That never works but I know he's going to whine. I hand him the controller and walk back to my bedroom.
I walk towards my closet looking back at the door to make sure Flynn or Link didn't follow me. I dig through my stuff and find my secret box. I open it up and find my special jar full of other little stars like the one Link found attached to my shoulder. I open the lid and plop the star into it closing it back up and putting everything back like it was before.
I stand to my feet plopping onto my bed and grabbing my laptop from the ground. I put on my headphones and listen to music as I play on my computer. What's with all these updates on celebs popping up on my screen? Oh god.
"Flynn! What the hell did you do?!" I yell at the top of my lungs. I hear a pair of feet running down the hall and the door swings wide open.
"What?" He tries to hide his smirk.
"Look what you did!" I shove the computer in his face.
"Ahah! Ten points to gryffindor! Ka-Pow!" Flynn falls to the floor laughing.
"Idiot." I roll my eyes, continuing to try and take off the updates.
"Don't worry, I'll take it off." Flynn takes my laptop from me and erases all the updates and file to it.
"Hey, come with me to the market will you?"
"Ugh. I don't want to change." I whine.
"You don't have to. You're Andy Dawson remember?" Flynn elbows me.
"I know I am! It's just...the stores too far away." I lift my hand up pretending to reach something nearby.
"Fine!" I get up and follow him down the hallway to the front door.
"Link, we're going to the store to get some stuff," Flynn shouts to Link as he opens the door.
"And by stuff he means junk." I chuckle as he closes the door. We walk up to his car and get into the preheated car.
"Hey, there's another star on your shoul-" I quickly grab it and put it in my pocket looking up at the condo. "-der. What's up with these stars?" He raises his eyebrow at me.
"Like I said to before Flynn, I'm bored. Now let's get going to the store."
