Liam strings me along down the side of the dirt road.
"Where are we going?" He shrugs and keeps walking, looking back from time to time.
"Anywhere. There's an amazing cafe just up the road."
"Okay." I say, closing the gap between us.
"You know you can slow down. What's wrong?" I may only have known Liam for a few minutes but I have a high tolerance for emotional pain.
"Nothings wrong, Eleanor."
"Sorry, Norie." He smiles. "So how's your love life?" He's obviously thinking about his love. I can't understand how someone could cheat on someone as sweet ask Liam. Maybe its the fact that he's too nice. I've already grown a strong hate for this girl .
" I don't have a love life."
"You're kidding." He smiles. " But your so-funny and nice and.. " He cuts his sentence short with a laugh. "Someone must be on your radar or vis versa."
Harry, but he's a munipulator and psycho and....stop thinking about him. You have Liam to keep you company, don't be such a bore. I give him a shrug and my best smile.
"Well when I was younger I thought I fell in love but, it was all a joke. Looking back now I never really knew him. It hurts you know?" His eyes are fixed on mine, his brow furrowed. "It hurts to be so invovled with someone and to have them leave you and not say a word to you for four years and still think they 'own' you. It feels really shitty!" He stares at me with a blank expression, saddnes overwhelming his soft brown eyes.
"I'm sorry. I get it. " I really don't want to run him off, especially whenthe only thing keeping me happy right now.
"Do you still love him?" I watch as his lips twist trying to survey my brain. No, he left me sad and heartbroken forf our years.
"Yes." I confess. " That's the worst part about it." He extends his hand to me and I take it.
"Alrights, let's cheer up." I nod and smile, following behind him.
" She fucking called you?" I yell into my phone. "What the fuck?"
"Well Harry what do you expect? Youre sinking your claws into her and your messing with her head."
"Don't fucking start with me Louis."
"You know its true that's why you-" I throw my phone at the wall sending a harsh blow to the walls.
"Fuck!" I messed everything up. This is not how things should have been yesterday she wad supposed to see my gesture as pure and coincedently take me back so I can take her to fucking Manchester so I don't have to get married to a girl I have no feelings for.
Why does she have to be so stubborn? Ironically that was the best thing about her. How she would lay across her bed, a pen in her mouth refusing to leave with me until she got her work done.
Why do I have to fuck everything up? I should of just handeled it like a man besides run from my problens. Fuck!!!
I grab my keys and rush out of my flat to my car. I'll just talk to her, maybe she'll listen to me.
I park in the dorm parking lot and rush to her door, using al my force to knock on the door. Nothing.
"Nor, open the door please." The door clicks open and Emma stands in front of me, a duffel bag on her shoulder.
"Emma? What are you doing here?"
"I'm moving back in, What are you ding here?"
"Well where's Norie?" I ask pushing past her. Her bed is messily made and her bottom drawer is hanging loosely from its track a few articles missing.
"I don't know."
"At her parents?" She shrugs."Do you have her number?"
"Of course I would she's my best friend." I roll my eyes reaching for her phone.
"Hey!" She snaps. "Give me that!" I scroll through her contacts seeing Alex's name under her recent calls. I find Norie's number and give her the phone back.
"She better fucking answer!"
"Just leave her alone." She tells me.
"Mind your own goddamn business and while your at stop talking to Alex. Your getting to deep. " I close the door and qiuckly dial her number.
