1. Meeting Hollis
Molly heard a knock on the door, she rolled over in her bed ‘who the hell is calling at this time of night’ she looked at the clock it was 2:00am. She hopped out of bed, threw on a house coat and some slippers and walked downstairs, she opened the front door to find a little girl asleep in a basket on her front step, the girl looked to be about two “what the hell” Molly said looking around, no one else was there. The girl had longish brown hair, she was extremely pale, she looked beautiful, molly picked up the largish basket and brought her inside, there was a letter tied around the girl’s wrist. Molly picked it up “this is Hollis. I leave her to you because I am incapable of caring for her at this time. She is very sweet and I know you are good with children, her birthday is August 29th, she is two. Thank you –N” molly read the letter over and over ‘who the hell is N’ she thought. She picked the girl out of the basket and held her in her arms, whoever ‘N’ was wasn't going to care for her, she was going to care for this girl, she didn't have the heart to get rid of her and she knew she could give her a good home. She already had 7 children, one of them was the same age as Hollis and one was only one year older.
Molly walked up the stairs carrying the small girl in her arms “Arthur” she whispered, Arthur jerked awake “what?” he said rubbing his eyes. When he saw the child in her arms he looked worried “what’s wrong with Ginny” he said not noticing that she looked nothing like his daughter “nothing” Molly said sitting down next to him “this isn’t Ginny”. Arthur's jaw dropped as he looked at the little girl in his wife's arms “who?” he began Molly handed him the letter. Arthur read the letter at least five times before saying anything “well I guess we have a new daughter” he said, he had just as big of a heart as Molly “Hollis Weasley” he said. Molly conjured up a crib and put Hollis into it, she lay down next to Arthur “Ginny will be happy to have a little girl to play with” she said Arthur fell asleep right away but Molly couldn't sleep, she just kept looking at Hollis. Hollis looked so peaceful, Molly wondered who ‘N’ was and why she was so incapable of looking after his baby girl, and how she knew her and knew that she would love to care for this girl.
