Wrecking Ball

Mercedes was ready to start her new school, she was ready for it to be cliche and normal but that was far from what she got.

Omgeez I swear guys I have a problem it's called O.F.F.W. obsessive fanfiction writing. I have that and there is no cure the only cure is to have a one direction member tell you he hates you because you write fanfiction and he'll only love you if you don't write it. lol ugh

"Straight or curled?"

"Stop asking or there's no other option." I gave Delany a WTF look.

She smirked. "Well okay fine I'll play nice. Okay, hmm straight." I nodded picking up the teal shirt. "This one or this one."

Milly groaned. "Why does it matter? This school is just like all the others." I shook my head, curls bouncing. "It's first impression, plus I want to be in SGA."

Milly shook her head. "Just do cheer." I chuckled. " I am not coordinated at all."

She shrugged. "Well it might help your best friend just so happens to be Milly Sanders, the cheer captain of River Heights High school." I raised my brow.

"That's cheating. I'm not doing cheer, I'm doing tennis." She threw her arms up.

"I'm not coordinated," She said mocking me. I rolled my eyes. "Okay Melanie."

She put the magazine in her face. I turned back to my mirror."I'm excited."

I heard her huff. I continued to smile, not letting her bad attitude get me. My mom came into the room, "girls are you ready to go?"

I nodded, pulling down my dress as I went down the stairs. " Smart idea," My dad said. I tried not to roll my eyes. I was a good kid he had nothing to worry about. Milly and I, being the best friends we were, both jumped from the bottom step.

"So where are we going?" My dad started the car, Milly was playing candy crush as well as my mom. No one answered. I cleared my throat gently, "Oh um Milly's favorite sushi place." He nodded.

Sushi just what I needed to get food poisoning the first day of school. Walking into the restaurant I bumped shoulders with someone way larger than me. I turned around quickly to apologize. The boy turned and growled. "Watch where you're going!"

I rolled my eyes "Dick." I mouthed at him he just chuckled. "Thanks girl," He said walking out of the place. I am not a girl I thought to myself crossing my arms.

"Mercedes!" I turned around to follow Milly. "Who was that?" she asked. I rolled my eyes, "does it look like I know? I'm not the one who's been here for the past three years."

She smiled. "Well you do actually. Only because of me though." I didnt answer her because the waiter came. He was handsome untill I saw his earing and eyebrow ring, along with his fake blonde hair. Totally not my type at all. My mom eyed me, I knew exactly what she was thinking. I just pretended to ignore her. Milly didnt seem fazed so I was guessing he either wasn't important in school or didnt even go to our school.

Spritzing one last spritz of perfume, I twirled in the air letting the perfume fall on me.

"Honey are you sure you don't want anything for breakfast?" I shook my head. "I promise mom, chocolate milk is all I need." I gave my mom a hug and walked out of the house. My red Volkswagen Beetle shinning in the drive way.

"Hey you must be Mercedes,"a bleach blonde cheerfully said. I noted her excessive makeup.

"Mercedes, this is Quinn and this is Clary." Clary had fire red hair and emerald eyes to match.  I thought that her hair would be wavy but it was as straight as mine. "Hi." I waved and they started chatting about the things we always chat about.

"This is math not any other class. You'll learn it, you'll love it and you'll pass the test." I rolled my eyes as I smacked my gum, dumb math, I hate it.

Doodling in my fresh clean notebook.,"Ms. Kirk." I jumped at my last name being yelled. I looked up, at the teacher, Ms. Macill. "Yes?" I said sweetly, working my usual spell I had on teachers.

She just kept her mouth in a straight line. "No gum in my class. Trash can. This here is a wonderful example of what not to do," she said as she pointed at the trash can. I rolled my eyes and huffed. Standing up I spit my gum in the trash, hearing a deep chuckle as I sat back down. I quickly turned around to meet the person. The same guy from the sushi place, god I already hated him. I hate hating people and that's why I hate him. I rolled my eyes and flipped my long blonde hair over my shoulder.

"Someone's a little rebel." I just pretended to ignore him. I was most certainly not a rebel. I hadn't expected to see a guy like him actually in school. Let alone in a math class.

When the torture was over I rushed out of the class to join my new friends. "Hey how are your classes so far?" I shrugged. " I can honestly say I like all my teachers, except for Ms. Macill."

They all smiled. "Oh you got her? I'm so sorry, she's a total bitch." I nodded.

"Clearly," I said sipping my water. Milly was fiddling with her fake nails, what she did when she was thinking. "What are you thinking about?" I asked.

She shrugged. "I'm just trying to figure out why he is staring at you."

"Who?" I asked utterly confused. She nodded in the direction behind of me. I slowly turned around looking as I twisted the cap on my water, to meet the one guy I couldn't stand. He gave me a smirk and turned to his friend, the waiter boy. I rolled my eyes as I turned back. "I cannot stand him. Not one bit."

She chuckled. "Yeah no one can but his friends. They are so un=normal, like they have tattoos and peircings its so weird." I nodded, checking those guys out. Quinn giggled, "he probably likes you."

I scoffed. "He'd be the last thing I'd bring home to my parents."
