3. catching up
I can't believe my cousin and best friend, other than the boys of course, is sitting beside me right now. I am so happy when I glance at her she seems sad.
Oh my carrots, Kelly is in my car. I repeat, my best friend EVER (sorry Haz) is in the back seat of my car. I have missed her so much. I saved her number on the new phone I got but she never replied or texted. I guess I didn't really help the situation. I couldn't skype her because she refuses to go on any apps or social networks that involve people seeing her face.
Nobody really talked in the car but at the Diner we got into some conversation."So what have you been doing these last five years?" Niall asked. "Well, when you headed off to God knows where I had to get a job, I moved in with Alex and we are currently saving up for either a car or a holiday. I worked as a cleaner in a hotel until I could afford a place to live and I moved here. Now I'm the cleaner at the gym so that pays the bills, gym membership and rugby insurance. My mode of transport is my trusty bike. How did you guys meet by the way?" They processed what I just said while I finished my chips and moved on to Niall's. He slapped my hand away so I took Louis' instead. He glared at me but I just shrugged so he started telling me how they got put into a group on the singing competition and now they're famous around the world. They were called something like "One suspension" or "One direction" I'm not sure which. There's five of them: Niall, Louis, Zayne, Harry and another one whose name I couldn't remember. We talked about nearly everything, like Niall's girlfriend is this girl from Ireland called Amy. She is average height with dark brown, wavy hair and the dealbreaker: she plays rugby. Louis' girlfriend is american and her name is Bethany. She is quite tall with dark brown hair that is dip-dyed hair blonde. They met while shopping at Jack Wills. How Louis gets cards in the post and Niall still doesn't stop eating or let people eat his food. Louis of course asked if I had a boyfriend yet and I replied with the obvious answer "No". He knew that was a touchy subject.
