3. Too long of a car ride
30 Minutes later I'm still waiting for someone to come out of the building, right now I'm wishing that I would of just went home with Liam. "Doll?" a voice says behind me. I turn my head around and come face to face with Zayn. "Oh great it's you." I sigh. "Do you need a ride?" he asks sitting down beside me. "No I'm good I'm waiting for my boyfriend." I snap at him, emphasizing the word boyfriend. "Well I didn't see him in there." he says. "You don't even know Michael. Why did you feel the need to punch him?" I ask crossing my arms and looking him straight in the eye. "I didn't like the way he was touching you, that's no way to treat a girl." He tells me clenching his jaw. "Yeah and like you know how to treat a girl." I laugh. " I'd probably treat you better then he does." "As if." I say looking away. "So. Do you need a ride or not?" He asks standing up and brushing his pants off. "Well I'm not staying here any longer, so I have no choice but to go with you." He smiles and puts his hand out for me to grab onto so he could help me up. I sat there unsure if I should take it or not, but I decide to. I walked to Zayn's car and my mouth almost dropped to the ground. "I love your car." I smile at him, as he unlocks it. He had a black camero, which is my favorite. "Yeah I love my car too." he tells me. He opens up my door, surprising me a little letting me get in. I'm not used to someone being nice to me like that, Michael has never once held open a door for me at all. I stopped myself from thinking that Zayn just proved his point. As we pull out of the parking lot, it was total silence. He finally clears his throat and says "So..What sports do you do?" "Volleyball." I tell him. "Cool. My dad's going to be the volleyball coach this year, so I'll be seeing a lot of you." he says a smirk appearing on his face. "Oh goody." I mumble. "You don't say much." he says as the car stops at a red light. "Well one I don't know you." "And two?" he asks waiting for me to continue. "You just punched my boyfriend in the face, so you didn't exactly make a good impression." I state crossing my arms and looking out the window. "I was trying to protect you." he says, his tone getting angry. "Well maybe I didn't need protecting you don't know what Michael's like, in fact you don't know him at all." Zayn sighs, running his hands through his hair. "I'm sorry." It was almost a whisper but I still heard it. He pulls into my driveway, unlocking the car door.
Thank god, I didn't think I'd ever be get home. "Thanks.. Um I'll see you tommorrow.." I say opening up the door and stepping out.
He nods his head and drives away.
