I got ready quickly and went out. Luke was all ready and was waiting at the sofa.
“So where are we going?” I asked while I was walking down the stairs. He looked back at me and stared for a while. “Hey!” I startled him.
“Oh yeah, come on.” He said and went outside where he’s car is parked. I went in the car and so did he.
“Where are we going again?” I asked confusedly. He grinned and didn’t answer. I was still looking confused. Wow he’s scaring me.
We stopped in front of a coffee shop. Behind this coffee shop is a park for lovers I think? They call it that because this is where couples hang out. I’ve heard it but I’ve never been here before. They have famous restaurants inside and outlets of famous brands. It’s like a mall or something like that.
“Come on, we’re going to the coffee shop.” Luke said and dragged me inside. I don’t know what he’s doing and I’m not sure if this is good or bad.
We went on the table where there’s not much people. He was looking outside as if he was finding something. I looked at the direction where he was looking. I’m confused.
“Look look, see that?” He pointed somewhere near the tree where there’s a bench and.. oh look there’s Alice and Drew sitting together.
“We came here just to see them together? Are you making me cry again?” I said as I nearly tear up. Like seriously, he’s hurting me.
“No. I have a plan. I know you want revenge.” He said. A plan? Revenge? How did he know I wanted revenge? Well I guess he really knows me well.
“Alright, let’s hear it.” I plainly said staring at him and waiting for him to talk.
“Hello? Yeah we’re here..alright see ya.” Luke said on the phone.
“Who was it?” I asked.
“Just wait.” He grinned and not a minute passed, Michael came with a brown envelope. He gave it to Luke. He checked it first before giving it to me.
“What’s this?” I took the envelope and opened it. I was reading the papers that’s in it. It comes with a permit and the things needed for the plan.
“Are you sure about this?” I asked again. Wow this is making me shiver. But I bet this is going to be sweet.
Things are all set. It’s almost 8pm. People are outside, their cars all parked and ready. Okay Nati, stay calm. Why am I even nervous? I should be happy. I just wish things will turn out as planned.
“Nati! You ready?” Michael called and winked. I took a deep breath and answered.
“Ready as I’ll ever be.”
“Luke.” Michael called and gave a thumbs up. As if saying it’s on.
