"Hermione, I feel like there's something you're not telling us. Can you explain?" James admitted. He was sweet and kind, and he was Hermione's best guy friend at Hogwarts now.
"James, I want to tell you. I really do. But not here. Not now. Meet me in the room of requirement at 7:00 tonight. All of you." Hermione told the group. They agreed to be there.
Soon the time came for the group to meet. Hermione was waiting in the room of requirement with her mind set to exactly what she'd say. One by one they entered. First James, then Claire. Next was Tom, and finally Sammy.
"The war is not over." Hermione said. "Harry, Ron, Ginny, Neville, and Luna are in great danger. The death-eaters are coming to get revenge. I would be in trouble, but Ron gave me this bracelet. In my first year of Hogwarts, Harry defeated voldemort, but only because he was protected by his mothers love. Ron enchanted this bracelet with the same idea, but he didn't die for me. He put a special charm on it. As long as we love each other and would die for the other if we had to, the power protects me."
"So basically, you are immortal?" Claire inquired.
"Not exactly. I'm only immune to death-eaters' strike." She explained.
Hermione knew they would want to help her. She told them they could, but only when their assistance was requested. Hermione had a plan that she knew Ron would say "was bloodly brilliant." She missed him so much.
They left the room of requirement, one after another. Tom was in slytherin. Claire, James, and hermione were in gryffindor. And Sammy was in hufflepuff. They parted, each knowing they had been trusted with Hermione's secret.
