Hermione arrived at the hospital wing, her arms containing the petrified James. To her surprise, they were packed with petrified children. The nurse came over and took James from Hermione's arms.
"Here's another one!" She yelled to another nurse at the opposite end of the hospital wing.
"What happened to all of them?!" A horrified hermione cried.
"I've heard stories. Jinxed colored lightning most of the time, but some other stories have been mentioned." The nurse replied.
"James was hit by lightning." Hermione said through tears.
"We'll do our best to fix him by Christmas break."
Hermione looked back at James frozen expression and another single tear rolled down her face. 'I'm going to solve this mystery once and for all.' Hermione thought. 'Harry will be willing to help.'
"HERMIONE!" Ron cried as he ran towards his gorgeous girlfriend.
"RON!" Hermione cried, hugging Ron tightly and giving him a kiss on the cheek. Ron blushed of course.
"Hermione!" Harry said, embracing her in a tight warm hug. "I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too, Harry!" She replied.
"Okay, so what was it you wanted to tell us?" Harry said.
"The death-eaters are back for revenge. You guys and our friends are in great danger."
"Oh poop. I thought we were done with this…" Harry exclaimed. "I guess not."
"And Harry, I need your help solving a mystery at Hogwarts." Hermione told him. "Students are being petrified by colored lightning and other strange things. My friend James was struck by lightning and petrified this morning on our way to hogsmeade."
"We'll investigate over break." Harry told her. "I'll help you."
