It had been a month since the encounter with Talia. Georgina hadn’t spoken to Lauren since. The only time she made contact was during DADA, even that was much.
But over all, Georgina had been miserable since then. She would just sit in the corner of the Gryffindor common room and feel sorry for herself. Then on one April morning, during free period, Georgina was sitting in the library doing homework, when Lailei came over. “Hi, Georgina.” She smiled. “Oh hi, Lailei.” Georgina mumbled. “What homework are you doing?” asked Lailei, perching herself next to her Transfiguration partner.
Georgina sighed and put her head in her hands. Lailei put her arm around her friend “I know you miss being with Lauren, but there’s nothing we can do about it.” Then Georgina lifted her head. It was lucky she was doing History of Magic homework or she wouldn’t have come up with the best plan ever. “You know about Dumbledore’s Army from the Second Wizarding War?” She asked.
“Well, yeah,” Lailei shrugged. Georgina smiled “If they helped defeat Voldemort, then why can’t we come up with an army of our own to defeat Talia.”
“I don’t know,” said Lailei, looking worried “What if we get into trouble?”
“If we get into trouble we’ll address the problem to a member of staff.” Georgina explained closing her textbook “I’ll get people from Gryffindor to join and you could get people from Ravenclaw to join.”
“But what about Hufflepuff and Slytherin?” questioned Lailei. “Well, I’m going to have to pass on a message to Lauren via a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff so that Talia doesn’t suspect anything.” Georgina smirked. This was her best idea yet.
So once free period had ended, Georgina headed to Herbology. Fortunately, her partner was Mara Stump, a Hufflepuff student. As Professor Oswald began, Georgina quickly nudged Mara “Hey, I’m forming a group against Talia Knight to make sure that Slytherin can be friends with other houses, especially Gryffindor. Do you want to join?”
“Sure,” Mara whispered “I’ve always wanted every house to live in harmony,”
“Miss Stump is there something you and Miss Bradley want to share with the class?”
“Oh, no, Professor.” Mara denied as Professor Oswald went back to teaching her class. “Could you also tell Lauren Hagen about it,” Georgina asked Mara “I’m not allowed to, so I’ll need someone to let her know.”
“Of course, I will,” Mara agreed “I’ll see if I bump into her at lunch.” So it was agreed, Mara would let her fellow Hufflepuff students and Lauren know about Georgina’s master plan. Meanwhile, Georgina told Izzy, Anaïs, Annie and Sheryl about it. “That’s an amazing idea!” Annie gasped in her usual Irish accent. “Now all we need to do is use the Room of Requirement at a hide out and wait and see who turn up.” Georgina explained.
