It was night, but I couldn't sleep. At all. All I could do was think. I got dressed and left mine and Justin's room, slowly so I wouldn't wake him up. I walked around the dark alleys, and got to the park. Yes, the school's park. It's not really a park, there's grass and a few trees, and you can see the whole city and the lights of the buildings since the school was far from town, on a certain mountain. I sat on the grass, looking at the beautiful view. I heard a feminine voice near me.
"Why is it so confusing?"
I got up and looked around. I saw Jade sitting behind a tree. "Jade?" I called. She turned her face and her eyes met mine.
"Austin, um, hi." She greeted me. I smiled at her.
"You don't seem too happy. Would you like to talk about it?" I kindly asked her. She hesitated but nodded. I walked towards her and sat down. "What's wrong?"
"You wouldn't understand... Let's say that I've been feeling a bit, down." She whispered.
"I can keep secrets, you know? Even if I don't understand, I'm pretty sure you'll feel better if you tell someone." I told her. She looked at her hands and sighted.
"Well... Every time I get to spend time with a guy, I start to like him. Then, I'm not sure if it's safe to love him or not. You know, if he's a player? I just don't want to get hurt even though I'm hurting myself. And I always find myself falling in love with a jerk." She explained.
"Are you talking about someone in special? Cause I can break his bones if you want." I joked. She let out a small chuckle and nodded. "Who?"
"I'm not sure if I can tell you but I will anyways. It's Harry." She mumbled.
"Oh." Was all I could say. It was silent for a while, before I spoke. "He's not such a nice person, you know?" I stated
"Right." She said sarcastically. "How long did his shortest relationship last?" She asked.
"A day." I simply said.
"And his longest?"
"Two weeks." I told her. Her eyes widened.
"Are you serious?" She asked, not believing me.
"Jade, I just don't want you to get hurt. He's a badboy. And, he dates girls for either their popularity, their money or for fun. A guy like Harry doesn't love." I pointed out.
"You're lying." She stated.
"Am I? Just don't say I didn't warn you." I told her. I got up and brushed the dust off my clothes. "Goodnight Jade." I said and left.
I was eating breakfast with Ariana, Bella, Zendaya and Emma Watson when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to face my love.
Wait what? Tay, since when did you love Harry?
I don't love him, do I?
You said it was just a crush, but now, you said you're IN LOVE.
Sorry, my bad.
"Taylor, can I talk to you for a second?" He asked me. I nodded and we both walked outside near the park.
Oh my God! He knows my name! This is awesome!
"So... What did you wanna talk about?" I asked him.
"Well you see, last night. I had a dream about you, and so that made me really, really like you. So um, I was wondering if you'd like to be my girlfriend?" He asked me. My eyes widened.
Yes Taylor, you're not dreaming, it's happening.
Yes. Now say something. He's waiting for your answer.
I'm speechless. What do I do?
It's as simple as the wind, Tay. Nod and kiss him. Or shake your head and slap him. Depends on your answer.
I leaned in and kissed him. He understood and kissed back.
They're... Dating? Woah! It's like the first day of school! But I felt a bit, sad or you can say, broken. I saw them kissing and well, after all Austin was right. I didn't get any sleep yesterday, and so I stayed out here all the time. Sure, now I'm tired, but I have school. As soon as I saw Austin I ran to him and hugged him. He hugged back, probably understanding that I was in a bad mood.
"You were right." I whispered, pulling away.
"Let me guess... He's already dating a girl?" I nodded. "I'm sorry, Jade. But the truth is, he's a jerk, and the truth can hurt." He told me.
"I like your quotes, Mr. Mahone." I joked. He laughed making me join in. "Actually, Austin... Since I trusted you... Can you do me a favour?" I asked him.
"I won't tell anyone. I know."
"Well, I wasn't gonna say that, but..." He tickled me. I let out a tiny scream and ran. I looked back and BAM! I bumped into someone and fell on the ground. I opened my eyes and got up, with Austin helping me.
"I'm so sorry..." I apologized to the blonde girl and Harry, since I bumped into them. The girl groaned and left.
"Are you okay?" Austin asked. I nodded.
"I'm okay." I looked at my bleeding arm. "Just bleeding."
"Jade? Are you okay?" Harry asked me. Why would he care?
"I'm FINE!" I growled at Harry as I walked away, leaving my close friend and Harry behind.
Double update! Whoop whoop!
I know, I promised that the first day starts in this chapter, but it didn't. It kind of did, though. It's the morning. The LESSONS start in the next chapter. I decided to add some questions in here, if you don't answer it's fine. But it'd be funny if you do. I may be giving you some clues on the following chapter.
1) Did you like Austin and Jade's talk? It was cute, yet friendly. Jade doesn't love Harry though, she liked him, but now, I'm not so sure... She probably hates him. She wasn't rude... Or was she?
2) Taylor's a bit blind in the story... Did she really think that Harry loves her? You're gonna find out why he dated her in the next chapter. Even though she sounds sweet, she's a tiny, tiny bit bitchy towards Jade. Don't you think?
3) Harry... AAHHH my dear Harry... Most of the girls are falling for him... Who'll he fall for? It's not Jade. (I think. Maybe he'll love her.)
4) Taylor speaks to herself in her mind. Hahaha. Do any of you do that?
5) Who's your favourite character in the story so far?
I have no idea why I'm in my room updating this when I should sleep. I got school in a few hours and I have three tests tomorrow morning. Guess I'll end up like Jade, T-I-R-E-D. I think I won't get any sleep. Wish me luck!
