It has been 2 weeks since Emma has turned her back on us and walked away. We notice the changes in the schools dynamic; they don't fear us anymore. We walk past a group of girls who we have always seen as lower than us but instead of us showing how above them we are, they are the ones to snob us.
Everyone viewed Emma as the Queen in this school and apparently we were just the puppies. Its obvious because when people walk past her she smiles and they shyly smile back as if royalty has just noticed them. Stupid, pathetic bitches. Every girl in this school has no idea about her.
"Sasha!" I yelled causing her to walk out of the bathroom. "I know how to get back at her without causing a scene within the school and getting torn down by all the other girls." I say with a smirk plastered on my face.
"Emma how is your month three report going?" I ask sticking my head up from my laptop.
"Not as good as it should be." she sighs
"It is the last one for the term, don't even stress."
I finish typing my final report for the term before saving it to my hard drive so I can print it tomorrow. Next week the first term of this Project will be over and I will get to go back home for two weeks and see my dad. As much as I am enjoying this year so far, the drama that has unfolded has caused these three months to be extremely stressful. The idea of going home and only contacting my friend through text, and possibly a coffee here and there, calms my nerves.
I look over at Emma who is deleting twice as many words as she is writing. As much as we have had our downfalls and hardships, people grow up and that's what I believe occurred to Emma. I sit contemplating if I should help her unlike how she helped me during my first year. I sighed and made my way over to her, knowing that all of that should be put behind us.
"Want a hand? I know you aren't that good with putting stuff into words." I send her a small smile to let her know I meant no harm by that comment. She nods and I take her laptop reading what she typed already before looking at her.
"So explain what you want to say." Before I could blink she begins this long explanation of what she is trying to get to come across in this report. I pause her at times and type down what she says in a more sophisticated way before I allow her to continue. Within an hour we finished her report and I hand it back for her to read over, earning praise for my work which she just 'could not have possibly even done'.
